Title: CurrentGame.sims3 folder
Post by: Rolfy on 2010 August 03, 16:46:48
Inside of My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 folder is a folder named CurrentGame.sims3. It starts out empty, but after a few plays of the game it would contain these files:

TravelDB (PACKAGE File)
Twinbrook_0x09b610faExportDB (PACKAGE File)
1a5tf1l3 (DAT File)
Meta.data (DATA File)
Twinbrook_0x09b610fa.nhd (NHD File)

I would like to know what are the importance of these files\what do they do\if they can be deleted like cache files or should be?

I'm also curious about these files, but in another way. I'd like to know if it can act as a save for when one's game randomly crashes.

That is a tempfile that gets written out when you do things like travelling. It's harmless, but the data may not be in a consistent state if you attempt to use it as a recovery save.

That puts me at rest. Thanks Pescado.
