Title: Did M&G bork bushes?
Post by: jsalemi on 2008 December 04, 14:20:02
Ok, since installing M&G, every small bush on every lot is ragged, like it needs to be trimmed.  However, there are no options to trim the bushes; the gardener says he has nothing to do; and this happens whether I have TJ's "Perfect Plants" in the game or not.   Anyone else notice this?

Nope, have you tried replacing the bushes with new ones?

I noticed this before M&G...maybe AL borked them?  I did what Emma said and just replaced them, kind of a pain when you have a bunch though

Yea, replacing them does fix the issue, but since pretty much every lot I play has them, and some lots a lot of them, it gets to be annoying after a while.

It's the EAxis way of helping you to remodel all your gardens. Why aren't you properly appreciative of their efforts, you ungrateful turd?

My solution would be to never take it out.  ;) My landscaping wouldn't survive a day without it.

This is a side effect of having TJ's "Perfect Plants" in at one time and then taking it out. I once had that mod and when I decided it was way too cheaty I took it out. But every lot I visited after taking it out looked ragged but could not be trimmed.

Ah, that's probably what happened -- I removed Perfect Plants along with all my other hacks when I installed AL, and forgot to put it back in when it was cleared for AL. Only just noticed the borked bushes now, for some reason.

I agree with Zaz, though -- it's back in and it's staying in. :)
