About the superstition_householdchance mods:

This mod, which comes in four flavors, is designed to increase the chance of there being same-sex households from an unrealistic number to a more realistic one.

In the SimUtils part of gameplaydata.package, there are lines of code such as the following:
<kPercentChanceOfSameSexHousehold value="1">
      <!--Chance of same sex household, in percent-->
    </kPercentChanceOfSameSexHousehold>

Someone one a message board said this code may not be implemented by the game. In any case, I have modified it to be 19% instead of 1% for two of the four versions of this mod. For the "50" versions, it is 50% rather than 1%.

There are two basic flavors of this mod: The "only" versions only modifies this line of code. The other versions modify more factors, such as the chance of elderly households and the relationship status distribution of households with and without children.

Choose one version. Do not install more than one. Of course, any of them will work with the superstition_quickerconversion mod and are designed to supplement it by increasing the chance of same-sex households to a more realistic number.

These mods have not been tested for compatibility with the "Awesome Mod" or "Inteen".

I suggest installing my Quicker Conversion mod to supplement this one.
