Too bad naps have no tangible benefits because their energy regeneration rate is slower than beds, and therefore, there is no point to them.
It's convenient for making sims nap on couches, benches, ect. Example: 'homeless' sims sleeping on park benches. Husbands sleeping on couch.
2  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Is SecuRom on the Sims3 hard copy? on: 2009 June 02, 06:34:38
Ah, perhaps I misread it- it was my understanding that Pescado had the *downloadable* version, which even EA admits has SecuRom. I don't recall seeing any confirmation of the hard disc having it- only that everything thinks it doesn't. Well, that's why I asked for confirmation- I will restate:

Does anybody *with the hard disc* have the ability to confirm whether it does or does not have Securom? I don't want probabilities- I want first-hand knowledge or links to the same.

neither the disk version or the stupid download manager have suckrot.
Thank you, much appreciated. Assuming I am not missing some subtle subtext that means "OMG !I HAZ NO IDEEAZ!!"

Yes it is. And this thread is redundant.
Did you, perhaps, reply to the wrong thread? Or do you simply *enjoy* using terrible grammar and not *linking* to the original thread that would render this one redundant?

The ‘official' Casanova does not even look like he could swoon the pants off a dead guy, let alone a living one. You would think that an ‘official' TS3 product would have better looking sims.

It seems like you can't make your Sims very good-looking OR grotesquely hideous beyond reason. I want to do both. I hope there's some way to remove the limits on the sliders.

Of course you can make your sims hideous beyond all reason. That is practically built in. The issue is that you can't make them reasonably attractive without them all starting to look the same, put the slider too far and they start looking cartoon-y.

Don't say 'It is retarded". Say the truth- it annoys you. Then people can go from there.

Will saying that it is stupid, because it is redundant, work for you?

Fine, fine, I'm satisfied.

ETA:  So, I know it may not be awesome to sign posts but it's what I do.

Good to know we're dealing with a rude person who disregards the fact that this forum DOES NOT LIKE redundant stupidity like signed posts.

Hook is a special case, and does it primarily to get on specific people's nerves, to boot.

Stop signing your posts. It is retarded, especially as we can see your username RIGHT THERE.

6  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Is SecuRom on the Sims3 hard copy? on: 2009 June 02, 05:47:21
I haven't seen it yet, so I'm asking here. I've seen people with the official, hard copy game (and pics!) so maybe someone knows...

I'm going to get the Sim3 someway, somehow, on the 2nd but as I am going to install it on my husband's prized computer I thought it would be considerate to try and get a version that won't lolkill. I'm aware there is a workaround... but really, I'd rather just play the darn thing m'kay?

Most things in life aren't awesome; no need to apologize.

Regarding the EA tools: I know if I don't see a friggan neighborhood creator soon, I'm gonna be rather livid. Being a paying customer always gives me a nice, warm and fuzzy feeling of entitlement.  Grin Other than what they've promised, I think I'd kind of prefer modders make our tools. It may take longer (probably not heh) but it will *work*... and if it doesn't work, it will get fixed.

Um, he turned out more than okay, he turned out positively HOT!

I'm not completely sold on that:

Just look at that nose. He's got good and bad days.

Wow. I thought he looked good in the other pic too... That nose is very DNW!
Cheesy Though I have to thank him for making my DNW expression for me!

Nobody said anything about infringment. EA does not hold the trademark for the human race simulation genre.  Besides legal minds disagree everyday on any given issue, that's why they get the big bucks, and that's why companies pay big retainer fees, to convince a judge that their interpation of the lw is the correct on.

LIES!
Does nobody realize that there is ALREADY a Sims-like game on the market?  It's even online.  You can start playing tomorrow instead of waiting several years for one to be made.  As far as I know, EA hasn't given them any legal hassles.

Just watch out for the Furries.

See? You *do* have to sign your name!

Why didn't you? Tongue

So nobody could see who wrote it, of course!  Roll Eyes
