It seems EA sends you an email and code on your birthday (at least on a bbs thread says) but only one person actually mentioned it so maybe it just happened?

Unless they've started doing it as of Monday, that can't be it. My B-day was Sunday and while yes, I did get an e-mail from EA, it didn't have anything specifically Sims related. It was just a 25% off coupon code.

Quick question about the latest update. Where it says: "Fixed Level 10 Mass Boss Generation Spam", is that this same problem I ran into a week or so ago?

I had a Sim who was at the top level of the Culinary career, and when she was at work, whenever I would select the 'suck up to boss' mode, it would add a new boss to her relationships and she would do it for a minute or so, then go back to the default work mode. This was a never-ending loop, and added something like 5-10 people to her relationships before I gave it up as a bug and stopped trying to have her suck up to the boss.

Edit: Forgot to add that it only added a new boss when I selected the suck up option. And her relationship with the boss is one of the criteria that affects her work performance.

Edit #2: Crap. Nevermind... I think I found this in the AM bug report thread. I hate it when I find the answer on my own right after I ask the question. Asking is usually a last resort for me.

This is really useful, and has worked for me really well. Except for one problem I'm having. I looked through this thread and didn't find anything that looked like the same problem, so here goes:

I've only been using this on the Store items, and I was able to successfully merge my files. However when I went to run them through the BlueLotObject Fixer, three of them gave me this error message:
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application..." It gives me the option to continue or quit, and it says that "An item with the same key has already been added." Since I know nothing about modding I have no idea what this means. Logically it should be something I need to find and do in s3pe before I save the merged package file, right?

I went through and repacked again into smaller groups and narrowed the troublemakers down to the Tiki set, the Ultra Lounge set, and the Ultra Lounge Youth set. However I have no idea what to look for in these sets to fix them in order to not get that error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was vastly surprised when I read someone mentioning that a toddler sleeping with a teddybear in their inventory got a buff. I tried it and the teddy showed in the crib and they got a +20 "Cuddle Time" moodlet. So cute. X_X You can also place the teddy directly in the crib but I was too busy stressing over having a gazillion toddlers to check if that gave the same moodlet. So, yeah. I don't know if this is just ME being slow or if it was helpful to anyone. Tongue

That's good to know! I didn't know they got a moodlet when it's in their inventory. I've been puttting it in the crib directly and they did not get a moodlet. After nothing special happened, I just figured that putting the teddy bear in the crib was just for looks.

It's great that you made this for teens as well. I do have a question tho'. I have KB stuff, and I ran into a problem with the EAxis version of this hair: It doesn't work for pregnant adult sims. I had it on a sim of mine and when she changed to showing that she was preggers, she got a random other hairstyle for everyday and I couldn't change it. I was wondering if any of you guys noticed this (like something in the code-type-stuff) in the course of whatever it is that you did to make this available for teens/nonKB games and if you did notice it, if it's been fixed.

Ok, I need to know if it's the objects or if it's my problem. I don't get any light in thru the door or the window. http://i473.photobucket.com/albums/rr97/Telraven/borkedwindowdoor.jpg
I put it in the same folder as the asian fusion window, which DOES let in light. I read about changing the load order when I didn't get any light from the Asian Fusion lights, and so I made a folder in my The Sims 2\Downloads folder called: ZZZStoreObjLightingWindows. That's where I put all of the lights and windows/doors from the store (e.g. here) and the Art Nouveau 2-tile door and window still don't let the light into the room. (I'm pretty sure that the Asian Fusion lights don't change the room they're placed in either.)  So, is there somewhere else I should put them? Or is it the objects that have the problem?

Hi, first off, I would like to say thanks to everyone who has been fixing the EAxis borkedness.

What I would like to know, is: Is it just me, or has anyone else had the problem with the the Asian lights not actually lighting up a room? Here's an example:
http://i473.photobucket.com/albums/rr97/Telraven/AsianLightsBorked01.jpg
And with a Paper ceiling light added to show the room with a light that actually works:

I've been watching this thread to see if anyone else would post about this, but I haven't seen anything so far. I did see something about someone fixing a light from another collection, but it didn't say anything about these lights.
