51  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Name My New Uni on: 2006 July 09, 17:08:47
I've seen many good(possibly awesome) Uni lots, so I've decided to create a college. I made this poll because I'm better at naming people than naming things.
52  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: 'No Patch' Play - How do you feel about this? on: 2006 June 12, 18:30:45
im currently playing a unpatched game. and everything seems in working order . well at least theres no big fire balls ,

That's the boat I'm in too.  Most problems I've had in the past weren't covered by Maxis patches.
53  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Where Stuff Goes? on: 2006 June 07, 00:49:00

54  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Where Stuff Goes? on: 2006 June 06, 20:22:17
Yesterday, I took the plunge and took 90% of my Sims 1 stuff off of my computer. Actually, my Sims 1 game and back up files were stored on an exturnal hard drive.  I would like to reinstall Sims 2 on the drive that Sims 1. How much stuff is going to go in Simworld and how much stuff is going on the C drive?  I probebly woln't reinstall my game if most of files and stuff end up on my c drive.

56  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Stolen Cars? on: 2006 May 13, 08:10:27
If the car did have an alarm the bugglar could not steal it though.  Undecided

Light bulb, I didn't install the alarms on that lot.  Usually that's one of the first things I make my sims do.
57  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Stolen Cars? on: 2006 May 12, 16:15:07
How do yoo know if a sim's car has beem stolen?  I hadfd a lot Lot with two cars, but qhwn I returned to the lot there is only one.

You have to make your own greek houses at Acedemie Le Tour.  ALT is the campus connected to me custom hood and I was able to make two greek houses.
59  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: When meshes Don't Show Up on: 2006 May 04, 21:19:10
Just out of curiosity, what are the meshes?

One of the meshes is Stacy's Dream from Guppy Sims and the other mesh is from TSR.

5/6
The guppy sims mesh is Anime flip, not Stacy's dream
Is that person doing stuff in the comunity anymore?
60  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / When meshes Don't Show Up on: 2006 May 04, 17:01:21
I have two sets of meshes that don't show up in my game or bodyshop.  I have the textures/recolors that the creaters have provided and I have the the EPs installed.  Is there anything I could do in SimPE to fix it?
61  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Binned hair on: 2006 April 21, 02:30:48
Poor litle mange girl ha ha ha, I thought sims didn't have to take care of thier hair. more snickers

I just went through this myself.
1.Open of Bodyshop or CAS to find hair files that match the texture in your pic
2.figure out weather you want to deleete te files or replace them with the non-binned version(s)
(I choose to deleete the files in clean installer because it was the quickest method)
3.Go back to Bodyshop or CAS to check if the maxis bald is back to normal.
4.repeete the process if the problem persist

I had to do this three times before blad and shaved heads show up correctly.  I had two sets files that overide the bald texture.
62  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Makeup?? Where do you get yours?? on: 2006 March 30, 18:49:53
You guys are enablers.  Last night I was playing and I lemented over the lack of eyeshadow in my game.  I got many medium value shades that I was lacking.  I like to have a wide variety of makeup in my game to prevent accedental cloning.

I don't have too many natural shades because I don't like natural makeup on myself.  I'm not going to waste time and moneyy to look like I did before I pulled out my makeup box. I'd rather spend that time and money on better skin care products.)mind you this is coming from a person who only wares lipstick)

I don't know how I feel about people that use the same model all the time.  Most of the time I don't notice unless the model is booty crack ugly.
63  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bald?? on: 2006 March 23, 23:11:28
The Proomqueen textures are the textures I'm talking about and it's not just the black file that's doing this.  I don't have any custome bald textures.  The wort part is this isn't the first time this has happend with some of Janna's file.  I catagorized some of her old TSR hair, it overode the bald files, but once I placed a nonbinned version back in my game, things returned to nomral.
64  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bald?? on: 2006 March 23, 03:28:55
The file(s) is question are custume content.  At first, I deleted the file, then I replaced them with the non-binned versions.  This happened to me before, but once I replaced/deleted the files, all was well.
65  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Bald?? on: 2006 March 22, 22:30:24
In Febuary, I decided to start binning hair.  The issue at hand is that a set of hair that I catagorized, has hijacked the bald files in my game.(I think)  I deleted the files in question, but I still see the flatend version on if I select the bald hairstyle or any transparent style.  How can I fix this?

66  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Maxis does it again! on: 2006 March 13, 21:22:41
I'm glad I'm  not the only person who's annoyed  by talanted people don't do the little things. I finaly knutted up and starting binning in late January.  I'm happy that I'm  not a slave to prebinned hair, but it takes hour long chunks of my time.(reeks havoc on my eyes too)
67  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Maxis does it again! on: 2006 March 10, 23:48:32
At first I wasn't too sure about the hairstyle they imtorped, but when I saw a thread here dedicated to it, I went and downloaded it.  I love it so much, I couldn't save it.  If I find a great hairstyle, I'll save it for sims I realy love.  Jodie Go hooted and hallered when I chose it for her.

I hope skining that are more awsome than I, find and edit more hidden meshes from the game. How come the folks at Sims Connections can retexure hair like a dream, and make meshes, but they don't recatorgize thier hair?  It's like a supermodle with a cussing zit.

I'm not the biggest fan of short hair in real life.  Most short hairstyle look corny and old to.  I also think most people woth short hair can't rock it that well.  I have a large head and practically no neck, so short hair is not an option for me.
68  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Nekkid Pregnant Woman on: 2006 March 10, 23:14:10
I created a new lady in CAS in Bluewater, got her married to and pregnant by an old fart, but the minute she started showing, she spent the rest of her pregnancy nekkid.
And the problem is...?  Cool

Yeah,  I wish the couple in my av would throw thier butt ugly duds to the side.  I live in Louisville KY, where nekkid and naked are two totaly different states of being undressed.  (ei discovery channel vs. the Spice channel)
69  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Easier Loven' in OFB? on: 2006 March 08, 02:08:36
Yes, I have Nightlife.  Some of the couples' have matching attractions, but I manipulated part of that.
70  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Easier Loven' in OFB? on: 2006 March 08, 01:25:50
I've notices that it's easier for my sims to fall in love since the installation of OFB.  It took about fifteen minutes total to pair up the Larsons and Ofeeefe with thier respective mates.
71  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Somewhat ranbome questions on: 2006 March 03, 04:51:19
I did what BlueSoup said and it worked.  I wpuld still be playing right now, but I had to switch mice.  Now it's time to sing the otter song.
72  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Somewhat ranbome questions on: 2006 March 03, 01:22:14
I have all my non-hack downloads on the Sims 2 downloads folder.  I think my settings are right

I can see all my bodyshop content and maxis recolors, but I can't see any custome objects.  How can this be fixed?

I did a clean instal, and I only opened the OFB version of bodyshop.  Is anything odd going to happen?

That's all the questions I have now
73  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: OFB - What works, what doesn't on: 2006 March 02, 18:13:43
Has anyone tested No Shoving from Look Through, Preg for all genders, TJ-Formalware, or ijClohtestoken?

74  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: So Who Has OFB, Then? on: 2006 March 01, 21:19:05
I'm about to hop on the bus and get my coppy.  I'm going to do a clean installl. (does ti!!y roll pump)
75  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Risk Taker or Careful Treader? on: 2006 February 28, 16:36:22
I will not install OFB untill I here about what's safe and whats not.  Once I get all that info, I'll plop OFB on top of my current game.
