Sims are frozen in apartment lot

I have a problem with my sims not moving when I enter a lot (apartment life) they don't respond to commands or anything. I can't even play my game. when I try to enter a lot (house) and try to load a house, the game just loads and loads and loads.......any suggestions?

Is your game full of CC, hacks, etc, or is it a vanilla game?

Suggest you take out ALL cc content (hacks, clothing meshes, cc objects) and test.  If this solves the problem, read the FAQ to learn about the wonders of doing a binary search for offending cc content that might be borking your game.

This sounds like tight pants.
