What in the world?! Thats the most.......................beautiful hair mesh by Maxis in the history of The Sims 2 existence! They are a bunch of idiots.
129  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Have my lips been ripped off? on: 2006 March 07, 06:54:33

130  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Anti Watch Out! on: 2006 March 07, 06:35:36
There was nothing hindering the car from entering the garage. I believe the anti watch out hack is the culprit because the problem ceased upon removal.

Yep, its too late. I installed OFB.

Darn, I wish there was some other way.
133  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: OFB Shopping Districts... really necessary? on: 2006 March 06, 23:56:42
I really haven't played OFB much yet, just experimenting with a test neighborhood to see what setting up the default district is like.

I'm in the process of starting a new neighborhood called "Port Kingston" with all my own custom-made townies.  Auto-generated townies and NPCs are using the CAS face templates to get rid of ugliness.  Consequently, I don't want Bluewater Village added to my town because it introduces a whole raft of sims based on the old templates.

So now I'm wondering if even making a shopping district is worth it.  I have yet to establish a custom Downtown area vis-a-vis Nightlife.  I was thinking of splitting the shopping buildings up between the downtown area and the neighborhood.

Anybody with a Prima Guide or experimented enough yet to tell if there are any disadvantages to doing this?  Adding a whole new sub-neighborhood just seems like excess clutter.

I have mixed feelings on the Shopping Districts. It is alot of clutter, but that doesnt really bother me. What bothers me is that we have multiple lots that offer the same thing.
134  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: No Secret Society Respawning (01/03/06) on: 2006 March 06, 23:45:27
I gotta question. I recently deleted all my characters and started with a clean Pleasantview. I have the No Secret Societ Respawning hack and the no Townie Regeneration hack. Since I have no townies the game attepts to spawn SS members when I enter community lots but the the no townie regen hack doesnt allow it making it impossible to create SS members. I would remove my no townie regen hack but I dont want my game going into a frenzy of creating townies as soon as I remove it. Any suggestions?

In Memoriam: Dizzy

What the heck?! Am I the only one who noticed this? What do you mean by that Pescado? Is Dizzy deceased?
136  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Object Crafting: Do we really have the time? on: 2006 March 06, 23:31:10
As you know, OFB added object crafting which allows you to create your own objects. Most of the really cool objects come from crafting too. But i wanted to know if you really have the time to find someone with crafting skill so you can have robots and junk. Am I alone on this one. I dont want to always craft a kite on every lot that has a kid. Im not crazy about the whole crafting system.  Undecided
137  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: OFB sold items in Inventory? WHAT THE? on: 2006 March 06, 23:26:32
I've been just playing my sims and i went to buy a aspiration reward, by default it's set on the inventory.  I saw my sim had some tvs and computers i thought that's odd why's she have those?  I went to my other sim and surprise surprise he has about half a dozen wall mounted tvs in his inventory.  This is all stuff i sold to these sims in one of my businesses.  What's worse i guess is it's essentially free money, i might as well be cheating for cash if i sell these items.

I assume this isn't only me right?  So is there any way we can get a fix for this so we don't have assloads of items put in our sims inventory that they didn't deserve?

Ya know, as much as I hate free money, ( in the game that is ) I kinda like having those items there. I'll just keep them for a money emergency.
138  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Shoplifters on: 2006 March 06, 23:17:37
When I close a shop and my Sims still have bags, they check them out before they leave. So your saying they leave with the bags without paying?

Yes, under certain conditions. Just closing the shop doesn't seem to be a problem. These are people stealing while you are open.

Ya know, I kinda had a feeling that a bug like this would occur in OFB, seeing that The Sims 2 is bug prone.
139  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Widower can't get married again on: 2006 March 06, 23:15:15
I have a widower who can't propose engagement even though he's 100/100 with another Sim, they're in love, and they have 2 bolts for each other.  Any idea why?

Did you happen to download the updated post mortem hack JMP made? It made it so the marriage ties are completely when death occurs. Im not sure if this hack was updated for OFB though...
140  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Anti Watch Out! on: 2006 March 06, 23:11:50
Is this hack really compatible with OFB? I ran into some problems with this hack. I had a problem where the car wasn't able to enter the garage upon return causing a reset. This makes it impossible to earn money when returning from work or paying for a car alarm.

142  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: For those BBS-phobics....there's a new patch out. on: 2006 February 20, 22:47:41
The patch is safe. Seeing how unstable the game is, I would still say the game is at Terror alert orange, which is elevated. As long as you have Pescado's Weapons of mass destruction (hacks), you should be safe.
143  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: My sim does a Britney! on: 2006 February 17, 20:37:40
I had my one of my sims cook dinner with her baby, use the bathroom, and even watch Television.

Alright then. How very Laguna Loire of you. Always thinkin about yourself. Wink

But I'm sure the other mods have most likely seen the other threads and are already aware of it. If it were up to me, had I the power, I'd just merge the threads into one. That's probably what Edea would do. No? Or at least, Quistis Trepe, she's very efficient like that.  Cheesy

Eh, maybe more like Squall, he's more clever, in my opinion.

Oh, and in case you didnt know, the second Nightlife patch brought it back. Maxis gives with one hand and takes with the other.   Angry
147  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Alright, so the Final Exam bug is back, but............. on: 2006 February 12, 15:04:37
am I protected from it? I have all Pescado's Compatible hacks for Nightlife and University but does one of them protect me from this bug? If not, what hack do I need?

Im about to run the game, wish me luck. Wish me more than luck...................pray for me.  Tongue
