The game makes opportunities no matter what neighborhood you play in.  All the same work opportunities (like, ‘Read this book to advance…') will be in your CAW world; all of your general neighborhood opportunities (like, ‘fix town halls pipes…') will be in your world.  However, what I think Pescado is saying he has no idea about, is creating your own custom opportunities.  Setting up your own scenarios and adventures is not advisable to a beginner.
Ahh, okay. That's what I was hoping to be able to do. I'd try poking around, but I'm too lazy and I'd probably break something haha...
Ah well, maybe another time then.

Thanks Goddess!

Oof, from the big man himself! Alright, thanks Pes. And others who helped too lol.

Yes! Thank you. I was pretty sure I was explaining it well enough, but that seems to be what I was getting at. Is this possible?

Like, when you go on an adventure, it gives your sim something to do. Like, go explore tomb x and locate object z. I want to know if it's possible to create things like that. Also known as opportunities.

Hey,

I recently made my own world for the Sims 3, and was wondering if it is possible to create oppritunities for it. Kind of like the opp. you can find in China or France, where there is a form of storyline to them. That's pretty much it.

Thanks!

Are you using a laptop? I know when I'm on my laptop the screen dims to adjust to the power saving settings I have on it, much like Erry said.

Does anyone know how to edit the worlds that you can travel to on vacation? I wanted to edit China, but when I try to open it from the File>Open... menu, it says that it cannot load a packed file into the CaW. Is there anyway to "unpack" it? It would be really cool if my sims could vacation to a custom world. (I also tried putting a custom world into the Worlds folder in the WA files, but that didn't work heh heh...  Grin)

Dear Lord I'm so glad you guys were just joking about all this PayMod jazz, I seriously thought it was going pay haha!  Cheesy Someone please slap a "guillible" tag on me somewhere lol... :X
Although, special jedi-ninja powers for my sims wouldn't be a bad idea... o_O

I dont think that the patch number or anything else is suppose to change. o_O Though I could be wrong, because nothing new is showing up in my game. I have the .dbc files in both places and my .cfg files in both the base game and the expansion files. Anything I'm doing wrong?

Ah, that's what I'll do then! Thanks! Especially you Witch, this helps me out a lot. (^_^)

They're both the same Innuendo.  Smiley

But, I don't have the DCCache folder in my Mods>Packages folder. Am I missing something here? It's been like this the whole time I've had the game. I have awesomemod and Delphy's Install Helper, so I have the framework and the Mods folder set up right. Do I have to manually put in the DCCache folder myself?

Thanks,

I've come across this problem when I was trying to save my game one day too. I solved it by going from my town into the "Edit Town" option, clicking "Just Continue", and then saving from there, and it actually worked! Idk how, but if it works for you, great, if it doesn't, I suck with computer stuff so, sorry.   Sad
