I use the one in my documents, and it was working earlier. Thanks for the input.

EDIT: I did forget to move the dll file to LN but after moving it over my game still doesn't recognize any mods, including the no intro one.

When the test version of AM was out I installed it with no problems, played for a bit and it worked just fine. When the update for AM came out today I updated and now my game no longer recognizes mods. I have searched for solutions but I had no luck. I updated Nraas mastercontroller mod and still have the same result (wasn't updated yesterday when I could play). Any help would be appreciated.

We can only hope that candy's horrid spelling is due to her being 6 years old, otherwise I will assume she was born with the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck.   Smiley

Probably just ESL. Not a huge deal, it's still fairly easy to know what was meant. No need to strangle babies.
5  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Karate Uniforms on: 2010 August 28, 13:34:20
After the skill is learned and they have the uniform you can put socks back on, if your like me and not wearing socks with shoes bugs the hell out of you...
6  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Karate Uniforms on: 2010 August 27, 12:03:21
Every piece of clothing in the game has to be enabled for the different categories before that object will appear in those categories and allow you to select it.  If I understand correctly, socks are not enabled for stuff like "swimwear", "nude", or "martial arts."  Socks would only show up in those categories if they are custom socks that the creator enabled, or if you have a mod in place that affects the game socks.

I have more cc now but this was happening when I was just using AM by itself, the cc I have now doesn't touch socks as far as I know... They are the EAxis' black socks but, the socks are only apart of the martial arts uniform when I learned the skill with socks on in my everyday outfit...
7  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Karate Uniforms on: 2010 August 26, 14:29:54
No I have to manually choose which outfit wears socks.
8  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Karate Uniforms on: 2010 August 26, 11:19:21
Thats weird because every time in my game when a sim learns martial arts with socks on in the everyday outfit they end up wearing those socks with their martial arts stuff. Maybe its just me...
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Karate Uniforms on: 2010 August 26, 02:11:43
Like JM said there actually isn't a martial art slot per say, it's somewhat random but loosely based off of your everyday... I say somewhat random because one time my sim shaved his beard and needed glasses whenever he did martial arts but didn't need glasses and grew his beard back when finished. If you have socks on your everyday outfit when you gain level 1 martial arts you will have socks on your martial arts outfits... Only fix for that is to get rid of all martial arts skill, take your socks off and then relearn it.

No problem, glad it worked.

One idea you could try is  testing the rabbithole with a random sim you bumped to level 4 in journalism, to see if it is sim specific. If it still doesn't work try replacing the rabbithole. Then if both those fail create a new neighborhood in Twinbrook, create a sim and bump it up to level four in journalism, if this works it means your save was damaged. If it is still broken then it might be your installation.

Thats nothing there was an empty lot beside my house and I made it into a quarry, wished I had thought to take some pics of it...
13  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ambitions: What's borked on: 2010 July 15, 11:25:01
I'm going to assume this might have to do with either the "UseHigherPrecisionTime" or "BetterBBObjectInfo" Settings. If you don't like them, you can use the Awesome config tool and disable them there.

I can't find that in the config... Going to try the settings.

Thanks, is there a way of putting it back to the way it was?

That was totally informative and certainly not a complete waste of space. No wonder you're such a stellar member of the community.

Congrats you too just wasted space.

Anyway, after the latest patch did anyone else's speed ratings for their cars turn into some weird formula instead of just saying the speed?

Have your sim read the book "Zombies? Zombies!" Then get a twelve gauge or at least the shootable guns from MTS and get hunting.
18  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Stupid Sims 3 patch on: 2010 July 10, 21:23:19
Have you tried letting the launcher patch for you, been doing that since the first patch and haven't had any problems... Patching...
19  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Stupid Sims 3 patch on: 2010 July 09, 22:08:02
It's a MIRACLE!

um.

My sim decided to go fishing on his own, and now I can order him to fish again. I'm happy it fixed itself, but slightly confused as to why it happened. Anyway.

Fish just happened to be what the spinner landed on when EA decided what to break in their next patch. Unfortunately for EA they are the only people that fail at purposely breaking things so it fixed itself.

Just use awesome mod, the only thing I use the laucher for is updating, only because I'm lazy. Steam launches the game for me, also lets me talk to my friends without alt-tabbing. All hail Motoki the Conqueror, owner of the internets.

22  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Paysites must be destoryed - been destroyed? on: 2010 July 08, 02:21:12
You would think that after a while they'd just give up... They loose more money trying to shut the this kind of stuff down then if they just lied down and took it.
23  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ceiling Problem - Fixed on: 2010 July 08, 02:14:57
Weird part was though was I never used that cheat on that lot... I did however bulldoze the EAxis house that used to be on the lot, I don't know if it was borked then.
24  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ceiling Problem - FIXED on: 2010 July 07, 19:07:50
Guess I modified my post while you posted. Thanks anyway.
25  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ceiling Problem on: 2010 July 07, 18:51:31
What exactly did you do to get a high ceiling for your trampoline room?  If I want a high ceiling, I just put a room with no floor tiles on the level above.
I did exactly that.
Sometimes, especially if you downloaded a house, someone used the floor elevation cheat to get things the way they wanted them to be. Because of that, you end up with exactly this sort of problem. Go into Build mode, get the terrain elevation tool, use the level terrain tool, and run it along the floor you created. That should straighten it out.
I never used the floor elevation cheat but I'll try this anyway.

EDIT, I used the floor elevation cheat and flattened much of it however if I put floor over where the ceiling comes out of the building, it auto flattens the ceiling and when I delete the floor tiles it also removes the ceiling. Thank you for the help everyone.
