Which isn't a big deal; wishes pop back up in seconds (especially big LTW-related ones) and opportunities are usually finished up in a day or two... unless you have a giant family, finishing them isn't a big deal if you want to switcharoo.
As for TS3 causing babies to pop out of sims, why yes, that is part of the game. TS3 is, believe it or not, 1.5x greater than TS2.
I have to say althouogh it can use some improvement(which i'm sure will come with mods and ea money making expansions) , I'm pretty pleased with the game. No TS2 regret here

I hope it's not a Hardware issue. I'm running an Nvidia 8800 GTS 512 card, and a 2.40 quad core with 4gb ram
I would tihnk its the game itsself.. ive noticed on 4 computers that I and my friends/brother have all with different hardware.. Intel based though.. and they have had crash issues with the first release. I'm running dualcore, 9800gtx, 4gb ram, windows 7 x86. and not having nearly as many issues as i was with x64 windows 7. other friend is on vista, and brother on vista too, and both having freeze issues, and random crashing, and from the look its not hardware. its just the game. will have to test with RZR release, but from the look of the posts.. people have had very little with RZR release. *fingers crossed* I have the reloaded version on my vista 64 machine and my son's vista 32 machine. Neither of us have experienced a crash yet

Patch is a standalone patcher:
Sims3_1.0.632.00002_from_1.0.631.00002.exe 10,720,392 05/25/2009 19:40
That's 10mb or so.
I did just notice something new in my game: I actually had neighbors show up and greet my Sim after move-in. This is the first time in about six test households (and additional movings) that this has happened, on my first new hood/Sim after installing and patching razor.. Not sure if this is related, probably not.
It's not related Tash. I'm still running the reloaded version and my neighbors didn't appear to greet my new sims until I created my 4th household. It kind of surprised me when it happened because it was the first time

TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Technical problems with THE HORROR: downloading, installing, and running it

Thanks, Phyllis. But I am still not understanding why we have to burn the ISO to disc, or what to do with it once we've done that.
snow hopefully this will help. Burning the iso to disc makes an install disc. I personally mount the iso with Daemon Tools and skip the burning part, but I don't want to confuse you. After burnign teh disc you install it like any other game. When it ask for the serial key, go to my computer, and to the drive where your disc is and right click and explore. You should see a crack folder with a key generator file inside. Run the key generator to get your serial key , then go back and continue the install. After the install is completed, don't start the game. Go back to the Crack folder, copy the exe crack and paste it into the actual gane directory where you installed the game. It should ask if you want to copy and replace the file, you of course click yes. After that clicking the exe file should start the game. The disc you burn is only for the install and access to the crack folder. I hope that helps

Four-month delay and they still didn't include an option to totally disable global aging? EAxis fail.
Aging and story progression are two different options. Edit: Zazazu, did you try changing the autonomy levels?I was thinking that too. My game should finish downloading by the time I get home this afternoon. The reviews aren't making me happy. I still doubt I'm going back to TS2 though

Feel free to P&L/ignore this, but how reliable are the time estimates given by torrent programs? I'm using utorrent, and seeing a lot of fluctuation in the estimated time - anywhere from 11 hours up to 22 hours. I started about five hours ago and have about a gig and three quarters... so should I just estimate based on that?
Impatient cat is getting a little twitchy with her seemingly shitty internet connection. Think yourself lucky - mine currently says 23w. Torrent speeds fluctuate based on the number of active seeders unless you're a member of a private tracker

A Maxoids word is not gospel. This is what Humble said quote: The game will have disc-based copy protection - there is a Serial Code just like The Sims 2. To play the game there will not be any online authentication needed The same is true of every expansion of TS2 after Bon Voyage and guess what they had? His statement doesn't say no securom and as someone else mentioned the leaked copy is an iso which is an image of a disc, yet the description says securom is the protection method
