What does the game call children in terms of modding? Are 12's considered teens only or are 12's also children as well?

I want a mod or object that acts as a piggy bank. You can put simoleons in it (In incriments of like 10,20,50,100,1000) to save and can take out simoleons or check the balance. Please!! and thank you  Grin

6  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Collecting Issues on: 2010 May 31, 03:58:57
I'm not sure what component of this mod is doing this but I notice that in my home neighborhood, my sims can't collect anything. When there is a gem or a seed somewhere on the ground, they only have the option to view the seed and view the gem. I tried using the supreme commander to make them collect, but that isn't working either. The drop down keeps saying there isn't anything on the map to collect when there is. I don't know what it is that is doing this, but maybe there is a feature that I need to disable so it won't? When I travel to other locations though, I'm not having this problem.  Huh
7  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod installation on Mac help! on: 2010 February 16, 16:25:59
I'm sorry!  I forgot to mention that!  I meant that it's not working at all.  I've tried "showconfig" in addition to other commands and none are recognized. Smiley

take all cc out and just leave AM in and run the game to see if it works. If it doesn't you either installed it in the wrong place, or need to re-read the installation directions. Make sure you have the .dll file in your game's Bin directory (It's part of the framework if you're that stupid)....just keep trying until it works....OH!!! Delete your script cache file too...
8  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: About new version of Awesome mod on: 2010 February 14, 17:19:48
Hi, The reason that I write this topic, I have some questions about new version of mod.

I'm using 2.2.8 - and I patched lately but keep crashed while loading town,

So I reinstalled and down version.

That's only way of working games.

But I was deleted old version of mod,

So I followed topic that using new mod.

Then loading is great, but any of package files are not shown up!

The problem is If I used new version that all of package files are can't use,

so then If I didn't follow that "using of new mod - paste frame work and moving resource.cfg file

and moving mod to sims wa mods folder - " then loading stopped about 1/5.

I heard that new mod has compatibility with all WA,

is it right?

I don't know exactly.

So I wanted to download old version of awesome mod, but there's anywhere.

Where can I found ?

and Is this problem has some solution ?

Make sure you are erasing your cache files before you boot up the game. This can cause a problem with packages if you update without taking cc out first. I had this problem. Continue to delete your cache files until it works. If not....scream and cry until it works.

Bald head syndrome is an ID-10-T error. Also known as, DELETE YOUR FUCKING CACHE FILES.

And DELETE YOUR FUCKING CACHE FILES = I already did dickweed XD..and it's an error that has to do with Mac OS and newer patches, which means I'm just utterly screwed until EA grows some and fixes it.

Oh, is that why the game works just fine for me? Try again. Delete them again. Sometimes it takes a few to stick, but I assure you, it does stick. One time it took me ten tries.

Delete Cache Fail ...

Did you remove unsupported mods?
Also, you should try to run the Sims 3 Dashboard at MTS.
I'm sorry this is the only help I can give you.

Thanks but I use Mac SnowLeapord  Undecided

Okay...so...since installing the new patch..I've come to find out that none of my custom hair works.. It all shows up as either bald heads or very short cropped hair on both male and female....Is this a patch issue or does cc need to be updated also whenever a new patch comes out??  Huh

..Weird.
That didn't happen to me and I'm running your same patch.
This makes me think it's not a patch issue.
Did you compressorize your cc?
Are you running Sims 3 packs instead of packages or .dbc archives?

All of my cc are packages...before i updated to the new patch, i took all of my .package cc out and just put it back after the update..and it started showing up that way..weird  Undecided

Okayyy...sooo...now that we've established that whats-their-name is an imbecile and all...

Anyone willing to help me? I've seen the instructions, yeah. But they look kind of sporatic and not clear enough for my brain to handle. If anyone is feeiling kind (or decent) enough to post some instructions here, or give me a link I would be very appreciative. Ideally, said instructions will be clear, detailed, step-by-step, or at least straightforward enough to follow and understand. Not asking anyone to baby me or whatever, I would just really like to have this sorted out.

Erm....maybe you should try reinstalling the framework again? Is any of your cc working? If some are and others aren't, it could be a corrupted file within the custom content and not your game. Don't feel bad though, I still have an issue with my custom content not working properly. However, unlike you I won't even try to ask for help because I suck less and can figure it out by myself Grin , but that's besides the point.

Try reinstalling the resource file and putting it where it needs to go and test only one cc file in the game..If it doesn't work, you're a retard who needs to either uninstall the game and start over from scratch or just reinstall all the cc over....Is that straight forward enough for you pumpkin? XD

It might be secret if it was illegal.  Maybe he's offering content that is inappropriate, like something where you could eat your babies - that would be sick.

BAhahahaha!!!  Cheesy

I've got a problem with AM.
First off, I use a Mac OS X and have not bought World Adventures yet. I Just now downloaded and 'installed' Framework and AM following coconnor's instructions (placed AM in the Mods>Packages folder and Resources.cfg in the Sims 3 directory). When I first tried the game, it loaded fine but gave me a pop up saying something along the lines of, "We can't verify that you're using a valid Sims 3 CD. Contact Customer Support." Then it quit the game. So, I removed FW and AM from the folder and tried loading the game again. Loaded fine. I then quit out and put FW and AM back in the S3 directory to see if the problem was lingering or a one-time thing. Interestingly enough the game loaded fine and I didn't get the Customer Support pop up. So I started playing, opened up the cheat console, and typed 'showconfig'. I got an 'unknown command' message.

What should I do about this?

Try downloading a fresh AM and reload it in your game. I run Mac OS too, I'm still troubleshooting my game because i can't seem to get it to work. Also...uhm, try taking out any cc and just leave AM. I find it to work that way when I do it, that way when you put back your cc you know it can't be AM and it must be something else you're doing.. Hope I helped..If not...*shrug*

Edit: And the "We can't verify that blah blahzy blah" message i think has to do with you running the game for the first time and either not registering it or SecuROM being a retard...just a guess, I could be wrong though  Huh
