Blasted. Variation 8-4 had apparrently escaped my correction. Re-re-uploaded it. Uhm..care for a second try?

Everything seems to be ok. Thanks.

Alcohol120 and mini images, etc.. But, I have it installed already to other games which share the same problem with SecureRom, and Safedisc, and I use the program to allow me to play ALL of the games that I have trouble with without requiring separate NO-CD's for them all individually. [Which need to be updated when new patches come out, etc.] A120 handles them all in one shot, and works great. But I believe I am getting away from my original points.

What the heck are you doing? One no-CD crack or awesomemod are sufficient for all the games.

Actually, clicking on one of the windows in the catalog made my game freeze and it became unresponsible. Anyone having the same problem?

Duh, I know. The OP was saying it doesn't ask for CD because EA had forgotten the security stuff.

Not true. Town Life does ask for CD.

They're nice.

"insofar as a white cube denouncing a missing resource (the phone receiver) envelops the sim as it makes or answers a call."

Yep, it's the same in my game.

I believe this is the same issue that is discussed in a recent thread here: http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,20299.0.html

That sucks.

Is the library lot supposed to come with the new objects and spellbook installed when placed in a neighbourhood? Cause mine just has the crappy base game objects.
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Vampires on: 2010 November 01, 10:40:53
Can you make this optional? I noticed the Plasma fruit bushes only give you two fruits before they die, which would make it really hard to grow a huge crop of them, unless one spent lots of time collecting seeds... or using the handy ones in ones inventory that you wish to squelch.

I second that.

Other than having to be friends to drink, I'd like the vampires to be left as they are. Or at least please give us options. I like the glow, I like the plasma juice, I like the plasma fruit. What I don't like is the stupid friend requirement.

Anyone noticed a major slowdown after installing FL? I removed it and my game is fine again,

I did. Probably my computer though.

Pretty sure it's a nasty virus.
13  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2010 August 29, 11:50:38
Awesomemod is supposed to stop CAS age staggering, right? It doesn't in my game for some reason. Never has.
14  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Stopped playing awesome mod but want to use a piece of it (not to distribute on: 2010 August 12, 07:44:11

8. Rez Delnava's CAS UI  5x10 Double Slider
I'd recommend tossing this: AwesomeMod has this feature already, and using both at once would likely result in peculiar results.

I deleted the double slider mod and was unable to use custom skins?

No, we need people like jecswp so Pirate Cat doesn't have to pay for his downloads.

60 items? Goes to show how cheap the whole thing has become.

It is.
Thought I could get away with it.

Sucks. I don't feel like hunting down the proper files.
20  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: If you REALLY want to use Launcher to install Sims3Pack with 1.8/2.3 on: 2010 January 06, 14:51:40
My base game is store bought and WA is Pirate Cat Edition.
21  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: If you REALLY want to use Launcher to install Sims3Pack with 1.8/2.3 on: 2010 January 06, 14:04:18
Here's a copy of my working_launcher folder. All you need to do to get it to work for you is edit the Resource.cfg file found within to point to your DCCache directory instead of mine.
working_launcher(42.9MB)

I downloaded this and the launcher won't let me install because I disabled the internet connection. It says Launcher needs to be online to verify the ownership of the game. Damn.
22  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Martial Arts Sparring on: 2009 December 02, 12:23:52
My sim is Martial Arts level 10
Athletic level 10
Tournament Rank 5
And she repeatedly gets her ass kicked by sims with Martial Arts level 2+ . WTF?
23  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Tombs do not reset on: 2009 November 21, 19:10:32
Someone on MTS said that tombs only reset if you're doing a quest(opportunity).
24  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: 1.5/1.6 Patch warning! on: 2009 November 17, 14:46:19
No problems here yet. Everything works as it should.
25  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Error codes 12 and 13 along with crashing. on: 2009 October 20, 16:23:35
I believe these minor glitches are probably the cause of the error 12, maybe not at first but given enough time they stack up and clutter to your cache that prevents you from doing anything afterwards.

Looks like error 12 doesn't require much to appear. I started a fresh game today. I could play for almost 2 sim days. During this my sim had done nothing but eat, take a bath, sleep and write a novel. I noticed that the save file kept increasing in size like mad. On my fourth save I got error 12.
