76  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / World of Puddings / Re: Goopy MkII on: 2009 June 05, 21:46:06
You know, Goopy looks like the least goopy faced sim I've seen in TS3 as of yet.
77  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / World of Puddings / Re: Zazazu hates pudding on: 2009 June 05, 21:27:43
Maybe it's because they hate how they look so much.
78  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Just a word of warning - - Walmart Prima Guide on: 2009 June 04, 10:19:37
A better tip is don't shop at Waldemort. They are part of the commercial Axis Powers.

Same with mine.
80  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: THE HORROR: The REAL TS3 Scoop As It Unfolds on: 2009 May 25, 11:54:38
Whoever thought the moving 'feature' was a good idea was an absolute moron! Worst of all, even though minor code changes are possible, it looks like we may be stuck with this 'feature'.

Oh well...

If anyone needs me, I'll be playing TS2, making a new family. I'm thinking of him living in the forest with nothing but a fridge, two walls, a roof, and a garden plot.
81  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: THE HORROR: The REAL TS3 Scoop As It Unfolds on: 2009 May 23, 21:22:45
It's one of those quirks of the sim universe. They did it in TS2 and TS1 as well if I'm not mistaken.
82  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Gunmod's Radiance Light System 2.4 on: 2009 May 23, 11:39:05
Will my computer handle this?

Intel Core2Duo, 2.16GHz
4GB of RAM (Displayed as 2.98 on my computer though)
ATI Radeon X1600
Windows XP SP2

I do use some of those resource hogging sprinklers in case that's relevant (Need to delete those. I have a butler anyway.)
83  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Story Progression Toggle: Is it borked? on: 2009 May 23, 00:44:50
Yes, sims in the simbin are townies until placed, the same as TS2, though I am not sure if TS1 had this feature.
84  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: THE HORROR: The REAL TS3 Scoop As It Unfolds on: 2009 May 23, 00:39:47
Clothes are no longer bought. You simply go to a dresser/wardrobe/whatever, go to plan outfit, and you can choose whatever clothing you want. You can also make 3 separate outfits for each clothes category.

That's a stupid backtrack to TS1.
85  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Story Progression Toggle: Is it borked? on: 2009 May 21, 19:10:41
If that is indeed it's function, what would happen if you killed Mortimer?
86  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Repeated Sim Resetting! on: 2009 May 19, 00:09:32
It didn't work, she is still erroring. But we must be on the right track. I had to use move objects to remove it.

Edit: Oh forget it, I will go to my previous backup.
87  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Repeated Sim Resetting! on: 2009 May 18, 23:38:45
My Witch sim went on a date with some townie girl. It was a dream date, and so I had them go back to her apartment for some WooHoo (Ehh hemm VooDoo Doll) Then after the date, she started acting strange. She kept jumping every so many seconds, and so I turned on Debug Mode. I kept getting the error attached. It mentions something about parents and romance. I have no idea what it could mean considering she is in no way related to the girl.
88  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: THE HORROR: The REAL TS3 Scoop As It Unfolds on: 2009 May 18, 19:35:05
Can someone with the torrent post pics of the game's fail?
89  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: THE HORROR: The REAL TS3 Scoop As It Unfolds on: 2009 May 18, 19:20:19
What happens now?

Does this mean awesomeland has averted apocalypse?

Does this mean only the tards in the fan base are moving on?
90  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: TS3 L&P on: 2009 May 13, 01:17:56
At least when Maxis was a separate company, they had pride in their workmanship. Will, and the other long lasting Maxis employees have been corrupted be EA's "The money is always right" view on things.
If someone could go back in time, and make it so they did SC3000 right the first time, giving them time to finish The Sims, they probably still would. Unfortunately, I don't think that's going to happen.
91  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: No Visitor route back to mailbox on: 2009 May 11, 19:58:16
Are you good in Route Fails?
Can you fix the stupid route when a sim visiting the tenant's household grabs a plate and leaves the flat and goes to his own on to eat.
make them use the nearest table, not the own.

There is a fix for this on MTS2:

http://linna.modthesims2.com/download.php?t=329440&c=1

It is fully updated. I don't know if it works, but you could try it. I am going to tonight.

Edit: From what I have tried, it works.
92  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Miscellaneous hacks by rufio [New: AntiGoodWitchIdleAnims] on: 2009 May 10, 01:33:39
Well, I can't remember the exact size, but it took a half an hour to go from loading screen to hood.
93  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Miscellaneous hacks by rufio [New: AntiGoodWitchIdleAnims] on: 2009 May 10, 00:21:30
Well, I downloaded a shelving unit that matches the maxis linking bookcases at the SimWardrobe, and it even restocks perfectly. Yes, the spines thing is kind of dumb, and the shelving unit looks a bit bare, but it will do.

I know my want for realism and fear of CC are conflicting. But it is not irrational. I had over 1,000 downloads for TS1, and I don't want that to happen again. Therefore I am greatly hesitant at downloading anything unnecessary.
94  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Miscellaneous hacks by rufio [New: AntiGoodWitchIdleAnims] on: 2009 May 09, 20:21:39
It didn't work.
95  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Miscellaneous hacks by rufio [New: AntiGoodWitchIdleAnims] on: 2009 May 09, 19:51:11
I don't use OMSP's, nor much non-fix custom content at all. I found a fix on MTS2, but want the OK before I download it. It's by Numenor.
96  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Miscellaneous hacks by rufio [New: AntiGoodWitchIdleAnims] on: 2009 May 09, 19:37:33
But if I do that, not only will it be an inefficient use of space, but will look ugly. Is there any possible way to make the novels storable on shelves?
97  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Miscellaneous hacks by rufio [New: AntiGoodWitchIdleAnims] on: 2009 May 09, 16:35:34
I am having a problem with SellableNovels.
For some reason the books don't appear OFB ready. As in, I can't place them on shelving units. Is there any possible fix for this, because I just had Mr. Reed buy the 3 in 1 bookstore with the sole purpose of publishing the custom novels my sims make.
98  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Miscellaneous hacks by rufio on: 2009 May 05, 01:35:52
NoInappropriateLoveWants*:  Sims will no longer roll wants to fall in love again if they are engaged or married to the only person they love, thus causing the game to think that they don't love anyone.
I've never seen this happen, and I crack down on stuff like this real fast. What you're PROBABLY seeing is that they aren't actually in love, for whatever reason (past issues/noinstantlove/arranged marriage hacks), but you cannot see this because the engaged/married ring icon occupies the slot where the love heart icon would be, hogging the slot so you can't tell whether the love thing is there or not.

Why did they do that? It would have made more sense for it to replace the crush icon, since a sim cannot love someone without having a crush on them. But instead, it replaces the icon which must be maintained in order for your sims to have a healthy marriage (I know I sound like a counselor.)
99  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: -sigh- I broke it. on: 2009 May 04, 20:07:08
I had a mouse death recently too. I am like a jinx with mice.

Mouse 1: Died by birdy beak. 1/2 a year

Mouse 2: This one also died by birdy beak, but I did train him out of chewing on wires after this "accident". 1/3 of a year

Mouse 3: This time it was my fault. I left my computer on, but sleeping all day, but when I turned it back on the mouse was unresponsive. So what did I do? I unplugged it, and in the corner of the screen it said "driver connection interrupted. Your mouse may not work properly." Sure enough, when I plugged it back in, it was unresponsive, and the optic light on the bottom was blinking randomly. 1/2 a year.

Mouse 4: My most recent mouse failure. I was working on making a dorm on Sunday, but while furnishing it, I heard a snap and the scroll wheel became unresponsive. I found out later that day while dissecting the mouse to see if it was something like dust, somehow the axel had snapped in two. This one lasted for about 4 years! It was a record compared to my previous mice! R.I.P IOGEAR Optical Mini Mouse.

Oddly enough, I have never needed to replace my keyboard. Apparently Apple makes really sturdy keyboards. Although I would like it if they could somehow bird proof the spacebar. A little cockatiel that weighs about three ounces should not be able to press the spacebar. Oh well, at least I got him out of the habit of dive bombing my apple key from on top of my computer resulting in exiting to the desktop. Sometimes I think he just hates my computer.
100  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Dorm Crash on Loading (My daughter broke it!) on: 2009 May 03, 12:12:01
Deleting the .Cache files didn't work. I still can't get on to the lot.

Budcot, this lot has only been occupied by the sim currently occupying it. It is an ugly dorm in the middle of nowhere, so I will delete it, and then see if she will load on another dorm, that I will make. If that doesn't work, I am afraid I will have to delete the neighborhood, unless someone has any suggestions.

Edit: Damn it! I was working on the dorm, and my scroll wheel's axel broke! Another broken mouse! Why can't they make these things more reliable!

Edit of the Edit: I got a new, and hopefully reliable mouse. I have a small mouse graveyard at the moment.

-2 lost to my bird chewing on the cable.

-1 lost due to driver issues.

-1 lost to a weak axel.

My last mouse was by far the best and longest lasting, but it's gone now, and no amount of moping will change that. I'm going to continue the lot, and see if it is the dorm, or the sim causing the problem. If it's the sim, I can always evict her, and burninate her. It can't hurt to try though.
