TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: The great grocery rip off

I run a grocery store, and I've discovered a few things about grocery baskets. Sims will put them one at a time in the fridge every time that come home. This also means work. They probably put more in the fridge than it could hold. I saw nothing weird happen because of this. Also, grocery baskets never go bad. So if you have a lot, set them out. When you run low on food, tell them to put it away.

I somewhat despise activity! Sims only need about 4 or 5. Those others points are wasted. Most of mine are very outgoing or very playful. Activity is only good for those in a career where body is essential.

Oh, ok. I don't know how to feel now. On one hand, I'm not a moron because I didn't miss it. On the other hand, I am a moron because I didn't realize that it was posted afterwards. I'll just give myself the benefit of the doubt this time.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Restaurant obsession post-OFB

I heard about this once before, but I didn't pay much attention because I thought they were just being whiny. However, I experienced this problem myself. After OFB, sims on a community lot do nothing except eat at a restaurant. Very rarely, you will find one browsing clothing, but not often. For example, I took one sim to The Hub. He wasn't hungry, so I had him dance downstairs to wait for a partner. It wasn't long before I realized that no one was downstairs. Every single visitor was upstairs eating. Is there a fix for this somewhere?

Thanks Jordi, that's something I definately didn't know. What about this new system though where I see the city owning the houses, having a city hall, etc. Is that important to game play? Or is that something that FFS puts in for you?
That is a system made up by JadeEliott. You need nightlife (for familyfunds cheat) or Pescado's money order in order to do it. Basically, you have to do all that by yourself. The game isn't smart enough to do all that.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Walking to lots

I've always thought that it was kind of dumb for sims to either call a taxi or drive to a lot right next to their house. Is there a hack somewhere that allows a sim to walk to a lot that you can see from your house?

I set up a pay to stay business, the suggested average ticket price is $87/hour, and i set it at $800 using the custom pricing. How do you manage those prices? My game considers even $18/hour ridiculously expensive, and I have quite a few expensive items on that lot. Even with dazzle, not every customer will be in a "great mood" resulting in a failed social, and lowered loyalty. How do you do it?

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Older hacks?

I'm lost. I'm been looking for some hacks (specifically the no20khandout), but I can't seem to find them. I've also come across Pescado's profile at MTS2. There are some hacks in there that I would like, but can't download from MTS2. Where might I find these?

Wow, there is a lot of math involved in the elder stage!
Now that you mention it, I found it odd that the second sim died at 7. I was kind of disheartened at 6 when she didn't die (after they didn't synch death, I just wanted her gone). At 6, she was sitting. I learned something new today.

Hi everybody. As you can probably tell, I happen to be a new member. I've been lurking for about a week, and I found this is a fun community, and Pescado is not only awesome, but deliciously evil as well. Anyways, on to my bug. A while ago, I had two of my sims get together. One of my playable sims move in a townie. I made absolutely sure that they stayed the same age. I thought it would be neat. The problem started once the two got close to death. When I noticed that they were about 1 or 2 days from death, I payed more attention to them in order to get a platinum grave. the first bug is that one day, they got younger, but they day counter aged them appropriately. The next day, the age bar flung forward to the right day, but something else happened. One sim died, but the other didn't. I am 100% sure that they were the same age. Is the game programmed to do this, so as not to give Death too many thigns to do? Sorry if this is confusing. I really look forward to these forums. Thanks.
