101  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Seasons Patch on: 2007 April 01, 03:08:43
well what I want to know is do you have to install the Second Pets Patch AND the Seasons Patch?

According to what Goonter posted yesterday on your forum, the answer is yes.
102  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: LTW's on: 2007 March 29, 03:42:36
I'll take massive size reduction in my hacks any day...That being said, I'm trying JM's version.  I loved finding the uni LTW's immediately.  I played all day without anything exploding.
103  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: I have a quiet, happy baby in Seasons on: 2007 March 28, 14:27:09
I just now RTFM and realised this is not at all the case. By now I have put back in squinge´s breastfeeding hack, which would stop this behaviour if it is caused by low social, as breastfeeding increases social. Maybe bathing does, too? At least it does so for toddlers. I hardly ever bath my babies.

I never pulled the breastfeeding hack from my game but still found that my babies were extremely fussy (mimicing real life  Tongue).  By playing with the babies before they ate and also laying them on the floor after eating, they have done much better. I'll have to try bathing, I guess.

Sounds like the times I've accidently clicked "Adopt" intead of "Maid".   Cheesy

Sorry, I don't have mine anymore...had to reinstall and forgot to back up.   Cry

*Shudders and joins Cabelle in screaming

I am so glad that I broke down and got the insiminator object.
107  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Ottomas family in Seasons - normal brokenness and more brokenness on: 2007 March 04, 19:37:50
Thanks to Cabelle and another simming buddy, I have my neighborhood reset.

I really, really don't want to download inseminator to fix Sam's pregnancy.

Good answers people, but y'all assume:

1) I know how to reset a neighborhood (have never done that before).  Is it possible to only reset one neighborhood?

2) I have a backup of my Sims2 but I haven't the foggiest idea of the steps to put it back into place.

Feel free to p.m. me the detailed steps.   Embarrassed

So what about those of us who allowed the sim to have the twins before we read this thread? I would say that Cabelle is more tech able than I am.  Do I just play until the game crashes, then uninstall and put back my pre-pets backup?

Amen, sister!

Rats.  I'm placing timer in my lots again as I was forgeting which lots I hadn't been playing.
112  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Lot Sync Timer: All BlueSoups Suck Edition on: 2007 January 06, 20:22:52
According to RFM, you can still click to move between the lots using the lot time sync timer.  According to this thread, you can't.  Does this feature work or not?

functional castle on 2x2

http://www.simposieum.net/content/view/78/4/

Of the three castles I've played, this one works the best.  The other two were just as lovely but so large it would take forever for a sim to make it to the bathroom, let alone make to work on time.

I wouldn't mind some decent looking elder clothing too, if it's being offered about. :}
Contact me, if you want.

I'm contacting andygal to see what I can do to help.

Before which ever EP (NL?) made it so you could select the type of outfit for the wedding, I had pregnant sims wearing the default wedding dress when they were married under the arch.  Maybe I had a glitch and didn't realize it.
117  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: ZOMGPets Job Fixes: Because Maxis Screwed The Pooch Again on: 2006 October 26, 00:50:51
As far as I'm concerned, it's extremely easy to get pets promoted.  At this rate I'll have all the rewards unlocked without breaking a sweat.
118  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Dull looking objects on: 2006 October 25, 13:31:50
Mine is shiny in the game.  I have a Radeon X700 card.  *shrugs
119  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Does anyone have this dress? on: 2006 October 25, 13:28:18
Don't those sleeves drive you insane? I ended up deleting anything I had with sleeves like that because they were constantly all messed up looking. I can put up with a bit for collars and the like, but for some reason those bothered me more and I was going nutsier than normal. They look very pretty when they're just standing there though.

I also deleted every dress I had with those type of sleeves.  It was like the sims had paddles for sleeves.  I'll have to look at the parimonious link.
120  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: AutoYakYak Macro Phone Caller (01/29/06) on: 2006 October 25, 02:40:57
Are you using it in OFB, or using it in Pets? Don't use old OFB versions in Pets. The Pets version has not been back-tested for OFB yet so remains seperate.

Since I'm the proud owner of the Pets ep, I'm using Pet's versions of your hacks.  I have been reading the posts.   Smiley
121  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: AutoYakYak Macro Phone Caller (01/29/06) on: 2006 October 25, 00:14:54
Yeee-haw!!!  Auto yak finally showed up when I clicked on a sim.  Version whatever the lastest is WORKS! I'm doing my best not to dance around the computer room.  Grin
122  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: AutoYakYak Macro Phone Caller (01/29/06) on: 2006 October 23, 11:43:41
I realized  yesterday that autoyak wasn't working for me either.  I was playing the two new maxis lots (Kim and Kat families) in my test neighborhood..

Oops, went back to download all the phone related hacks and I didn't have the most recent.  I hope it'll work now.  Will there be a newer autoyak than 10/21?
123  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Question for the awesome ones.... on: 2006 October 20, 05:16:13
I'm ok so far, but I'm still at the vanilla stage of my game.  I'll start adding in JM's pet hacks first.
124  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: Pinstar's new Apocalypse challenge on: 2006 October 05, 13:25:57
Athough most of my elders died at the far corner of the lot, I had ghosts who CLIMBED the stairs.  I saw every ghost in the bedroom/bathroom  area (3rd floor).  They were annoying me to no end so Paranormal was unlocked sooner than I had planned.
125  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: Pinstar's new Apocalypse challenge on: 2006 October 02, 15:31:06
Jello was disallowed?   I don't remember reading that anywhere!
