is my daughter's Halloween creation, she is still getting rave reviews on it. Have some others she did and some we worked on together.

Might have been on MTS2 at one time.  Oh well, would have been a nice addition.  Maxis gave us evil toys, they should have given us exploding kicky bags for the sheer entertainment value, but I presume that would empty a neighborhood fairly quickly.

There was a buyable cowplant on MTS2 that would eat all ages. I'll see if I can find it.

Edit: My bad, it was on simslice and is a pay object.  Sad

Was that before or after Intel's Core 2 CPUs ship next month?

He said it last week, what he was referring to I'm not exactly sure.  Just thought it was strange that he recommended AMD.

My fiance is friends with a guy that is a Senior Design Architect for Intel and his recommendation for upgrading was to buy AMD. He said that Intel made a huge mistake but they will rectify that within 5 years as they are planning on using liquid nitro to break the 5ghz limitations. He said that cpu chips will come in an enclosed refrigeration unit.  Sounds expensive to me.

Yeah, you can bypass the blocking if you are brave. My daughter had a ton of spyware on her computer from surfing sims sites though, so I make her use it now.
7  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bye Bye downloads. Hello Organization on: 2006 June 18, 09:31:11
No, that's site advisor  http://www.siteadvisor.com/   it's a browser plugin that will show safe sites in green when you do a google search. They actually register on sites to verify if the site sends spam or they will download files to see if they contain spyware or viruses.  This site has a green ranking so they have tested it already. but she was standing in the backyard and then disappeared along with her thumbnail pic

Had the same problem with the Laandgrab house when I moved a female in with Malcolm. It was random as to who would disappear, sometimes it was him and sometimes it was her. I'd save, exit and go back and everything would be normal for a short while then they would pull the disappearing act.  Finally moved em out and back in and it stopped occuring and seems fine now.
10  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Fully Outgoing Sim Moves In With Total Strangers on: 2006 June 11, 01:02:43
Happens to me with total strangers quite often and I do ban them. That seems to be very effective.
11  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: I got a good review, where is it? on: 2006 June 02, 19:09:41
What effect does a bad review have on a business?  Less customers?  I had a junky yard sale type business get the best of the best award and a few really nicely setup businesses get a bad review.
12  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Error logs on: 2006 May 28, 04:53:36
Might be a no-brainer but is it ok to delete old ones?  I have somewhere in the vicinity of 38mb of logs dating back to Dec 2004, mostly sound errors and a few object error logs.
13  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What controls how much a photo can be sold for in OFB? on: 2006 May 26, 23:55:38
I had a sim visit an art gallery on a community lot that belonged to another sim, he got his portrait painted but wasn't able to purchase it. Only had the option to sell painting for specific amount. I then went and played the artist who had started a still life painting at home and sent him to work, the portrait he had done earlier had vanished. So he had to start all over again but was able to sell to a non-playable normally. I sent him back home and his still life painting that he had started earlier had vanished. Does this mean that a sim can't have works in progress on different lots?

Thanks for posting that, now I'll have fish again. Smiley

You can also buy "bad" RAM, make sure that RAM you purchase comes with a lifetime warranty.

870 mb for me.  Time for cleaning methinks.
18  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Party Problems post OFB? on: 2006 April 01, 19:16:03

4) Then an unrelated bug: When Sims return from a Community lot, I'm getting "Congratulations! Your Sim has just purchased a new electronic game, and now they just need.... blahblah" ...
In not one case did my Sim purchase the game, and in every case, there were already both TV's and computers on the home lots. Has anybosy else seen this happen?

I get that constantly, also the notice about not having a dresser when there are clearly several in the house. :S
19  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: I think I figured out when the bakery / disappearing inventory problem occurs on: 2006 April 01, 17:45:09

It is frustrating that we cannot have maid or gardener on owned community lots, anybody found a fix for that working with OFB?

Christianlove's NPC stove works well for that. Smiley

20  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: stupid managers on: 2006 April 01, 17:30:14
They do get the money, as to the accuracy of the amounts that I'm not sure of.  But, I've had a really poor trailer dweller who worked at a store suddenly show a substantial increase in funds from the store being open for a while.
21  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: OFB Killed my computer!!!! on: 2006 March 25, 00:41:34
I leave my case open and as it sits on the floor under my desk, it's raised up by one of those tacky Maxis bookcases aka cinder blocks to allow air to flow underneath, that way if it overheats too much I can quickly cool it down by using external fan pointed at it.
22  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: stupid managers on: 2006 March 24, 23:38:57
I had the same problem in that furniture store, the manager kept reassigning the cashier to tidy up. So, I hired some n00b to do the tidy up job and put her back on the register and the manager seemed to stop reassigning her.  Haven't tested this theory fully yet though, maybe it means all positions have to be filled?  Anyway, I'll try this out and see how it goes, thanks for uploading. Smiley
23  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Family Fun pack at *GRASPS* $20.00! on: 2006 March 23, 01:46:49
Huge ripoff imo. And didn't Willy Wright say that there wouldn't be a Sims 3 and that Spore is going to be the game to replace Sims?  Or did that change since I read that?
24  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Electing the Slapper? on: 2006 March 22, 23:35:17
That description sounds like a good number of the sims in my neighborhood also.  Tongue
25  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Harderjobs hack and others on: 2006 March 19, 16:30:46
Gardeningisfun works fine for me with OFB.  Smiley
