That is every sim, living or dead who has a familial link with anyone else on the tree whether through birth or marriage, even if no children were produced.. I started with Raisa and her twin daughters, Alesky and Tatyana on one side, and Louisa and Michael and their son, Cletus, on the other.
It wasn't too bad for a while. But then Cletus married Natalija (Alesky's daughter) and she's a family sim, they have eight children together (two adopted) plus two Natty had from her first marriage, plus three Cletus had from his first marriage, plus four from an affair (Bad Clete) It all went totally awry when Clete's oldest son, Sam, aged and became a romance sim.
To date Sam is onto Mrs Jones number four (that's just the one's he's married) and is the proud father of 26 children.

Um, not exactly lol.
That was the CAS start of it all (Well one side of it anyway) Single mom, twin girls, spiralled outta control a little when three romance males came of age.....

oh but think of the building possibilities you're missing out on . Of course it's all personal choice, but I kinda like it when the foundation is a little higher to account for the hilly corner of a lot, or if you can get the basement half in the back of a hill or something. Stops all the lots being "samey" BTW, I have 92 built, furnished and occupied lots of various sizes in my neighbourhood and my game doesn't mind it at all.

I have re-ocurring nightmares about the family tree of my main family. I've been trying to put it together for about a year now and each time it makes my brain sizzle. This is about a quarter of it, at 4% zoom using a geaneology program....

I think I have been remarkably restrained in my downloading recently.
I had a great purge of stuff I don't use, and so I wasn't tempted to put it back in, I deleted it. Yeah, really actually gone. I pruned down from 6.4GB to 1.7GB, and boy I was proud of myself. My game went from 45 minute load time to 31/2 minute load time.
Of course I am a severe EDD sufferer and have to confess that just a week after my great purge my Downloads folder has somehow crept back up to 2.3GB, it's not me I swear, pixies do it while I sleep!

OK, calm down, deep breaths, I'm not shaking, honestly, my typing is always this bad....
I have deleted some stuff. Actually deleted, gone, poof, no longer there.
My download folder now sits at a paltry 1.6GB.
I feel ill, this isn't normal, nor is it natural........

I keep meaning to, but then I worry about deleting something I'm using in a house and messing it up or something. Any consensus on what actually is the best way to prune downloads? (although I KNOW I'll only see it as space for more new stuff I seriously think I have a problem)

Yeah my game has weirdness all over, like sims suddenly losing contacts (they wer ein love dammit!) but not memories, and many other random and strange things. I suspect something or other is conflicting in my 6GB of CC, so I am left deciding if I try and live with the weirdness and crashing, or actually sort through something like 30,000 files to find out what's causing the problem, and right now I am too lazy to sort through lol.

I have to delete my groups.cache everytime I close the game down or it won't get beyond the splash screen when I next try to start it up again. And I still get random crashes and lockups. I have given up trying to troubleshoot and just save often and deal with it.

Actually if it's just the pillows flashing, and the fact you mentioned the newspaper, I amazingly deduce you are using an NVidia card and drivers newer than 81.00
This is a known problem with some NVidia cards and the newer drivers and most reccommend the 77.77 drivers as working best.
As for the other, Sorry, no idea

I was specifically trying to recreate a sim born to two parents, so all I was doing was Try for baby, speed up pregnancy, give birth. Lather, rinse repeat. Hence the 72 children lol. And this was in a brand new never been played pleasantview with the one couple made in CAS. So there shouldn't have been an overkill of one gender or the other.

Actually apart from the skins on the sims themselves (Which it wasn't giving me a chance to load) there is no CC in that campus at all.
It happened, I took all CC out of my game, it happened again, I put all CC back in, it stopped happening.
This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to me, but I'm sure there probably is an explanation somewhere.
