1  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: OFB and Uniforms on: 2014 November 10, 10:57:34
Rise from your grave, topic...

In fact, the problem lies not in each npc. Just some categories of sims display this glitch. My uniforms assignment works on all sims excepted controlled sims and tourists. The game keep in memory the cloth and the face only if you choose the appearance with the mirror. Unfornately, it goes back to the glitchy state when you reload the game. You must avoid to hire  two categories of sims.

I found this many years ago, but I still was lurking for a fix.
2  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Sims Medieval on: 2011 March 30, 18:23:51
There's bathing? Medieval sims don't have a hygiene motive...

I may be wrong but I think it's a hidden motive that is triggered with only certain actions or conditions, My blacksmith gets the green stinky cloud after a couple of smithing. But swordplays or kingball does not seem to trigger it.

What I noticed with high free will on, NPCs in the castle autonomously bathe on the bathtub, anywhere else no one uses it. But my stinky blacksmith sim prefers to use the chamber pot instead of the tub when left autonomously.

I don't know if anybody noticed that female sims pee at the chamber pot standing up the way males do it.

In fact, bathing and peeing are just a way to have more moodlets. Nothing more. The whole game is about that, most part of the time. Higher is the concentration, higher are the chances to be successful.

The sims can be smelly, yet that give a negative moodlet. As for peeing doesn't make your sim peeing on the floor anymore, you'll get just a negative moodlet again.
3  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Sims Medieval on: 2011 March 28, 14:14:49
...
They already had TS3 great. Why didn't they just stick with everything TS3-ish and then just strip out all the modern stuff and make it... medieval? Why did they have to gut the game? Why did they remove build mode? Why did they remove so much customization? Why did they fuck the camera up so much? Why can we only view the inside of buildings from one angle? Why does my King get such a pathetically small castle? Why did they give us such a tiny, non customizable world to explore?
...

Because as console game Sims, this is test subject for comercial purpose. Not for enjoyment. This is Sims Stories like, and therefore, it's just a mere distraction for further gaming project.

Look, you find the castle small. Exactly in the way of the console version of the sims series.
Small
No custom
Camera angle fucked up
Tiny world

This description looks like console version of a The  Sims game.

The Sims 2 Collection files lead to an invalid file when I want to download it, with the link stated above.
5  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: TS2 Store Stuff Collections on: 2009 August 19, 15:17:41
The same issue for me with this link. In fact, I miss the Asian Fusion collection file only, but this last link is one of the many ways showed to get it for me.
6  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Wrong fireplace thumbnail showing at the wrong place. (Solved) on: 2008 November 13, 12:51:44
That could spare complaints if they did. I tried the same technique it on the black and red knight outfit (the borken one, now fixed by Havelock) from the store stuff series and that worked too. EAxis is seriously a bunch of lazy or disorganised guys.
7  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Wrong fireplace thumbnail showing at the wrong place. on: 2008 November 11, 12:09:46
Wow ! It worked !... but how did you know how to fix it ? I've never seen this in the maxis readme or any tutorial before, I think. Anyway thanks a lot, I thought I had to undergo a long and hazardous manipulation with Simpe, but it was simpler apparently. Cheesy
8  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Wrong fireplace thumbnail showing at the wrong place. (Solved) on: 2008 November 11, 11:18:32
Since I installed AL, one of my fireplace thumbnail doesn't show the right picture. Embarrassed

Look, the newest AL fireplace is showing in two places in the catalog.

Is someone experiencing this as well ? How can I fix it ? It seems it's not caused by downloads, and my game is not patched yet (I mean, the AL patch).
9  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Unofficial OFB Patch - Merge Of Several Older Fixes + New Stuff on: 2008 October 23, 04:20:34
This is the very point : I usualy insert fix when I see an issue needed to be fixed, but honestly this problem showed unexpectanctly 3 days ago in my game. About 90% of the hacks installed in my folder are from yours.. that's also why my game runs quite fine.

I was also having a lot of trouble with #1 in my pie restaurant, to the point where Noelia the Dense was forgetting about all but one table and I was losing stars. Will check to see if this fixes it.
I had this issue as well... I thought I did press an option or something randomly, but when I saw the head of my sim (which runs the lot) I was very puzzled. This fix will save my stuff.
11  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: PS Radio Controlled Cat Attractor on: 2008 October 22, 13:54:53
No, I would be surprised if you didn't. Tongue

It's just, I wondered about the possibility of this, not the will of yours to make it work.
12  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: PS Radio Controlled Cat Attractor on: 2008 October 22, 09:32:00
If ever it works (I wholeheartedly hope it), do you think it possible to make the chainsaw animation separated from the ice block ? I'm thinking about nasty funny things and some sims "cuttting". Grin
13  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: TS2 Store Stuff on: 2008 October 17, 01:52:14
Oops ! It was a version shipped with AL ? I see, it's like the pet stuff added with this EP. It's a bit lame to sell the item for just the missing colors. They could add all of them from the start with AL. That couldn't hurt. Undecided
14  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: TS2 Store Stuff on: 2008 October 16, 15:16:17
Basicaly, there's 4 different color for this item : Asian theme, mountain theme, Tikki theme, and generic.

Is this one has another color ?
15  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: CS Stove, Careers, and More! - New Jungle Swing 09/10/08 on: 2008 October 15, 22:28:48
I rememeber about these objects. They can't be extracted properly because :

_they're part of the story mode (they also don't appear in the buy mode since they are rewards)
_they have functions and animations that don't exist in Sims 2

In order to getting the PS objects, one must extract the specific PS core functions and animations tied to the pets first. At least, from I can understand... I don't know if someone can do it, but after getting the CS core functions, there's a small possibility after all.
16  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: CS Stove, Careers, and More! - New Jungle Swing 09/10/08 on: 2008 October 15, 14:39:13
It works fine now. Good job ! Wink
17  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: CS Stove, Careers, and More! - Updated Stereo for AL 09/09/08 on: 2008 October 13, 22:18:21
Are you sure Huh ?

Try these and let me know if there's a problem:
Stove Salvage Download 1
Stove Salvage Download 2

It was probably a temporary problem of server... I tried much later and it worked with the precedent link.

Err..I hate to say that, but... the CS hot tub is still showing error message as soon as I click on its thumbnail. I downloaded the last fixed version, I think, but it's still borked it seems.

I don't know if that can help, but I add the log file here.

I've the same problemhere too... Perhaps, it's just temporary. Unfortunately the link above doesn't work for me either. This have something to do with the server of Mediafire, I think.
19  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: AL Reduced Autonomous Mods on: 2008 September 27, 20:56:11
It's precisely that I wanted recently. I'll add it to my folder. Cheesy
thanks.
20  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: How to get rid of fugly Sim Portraits (UI) on: 2008 September 27, 20:49:16
Hmm... I always used the CD to play it until now. I wonder if using the no-CD crack won't disturb anything... Huh

Anyway, thank you for the  link, Amberdiceless.  Wink
21  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: How to get rid of fugly Sim Portraits (UI) on: 2008 September 27, 20:02:12
Is there a way to keep portraits in the way it was before AL ? The ever changing while putting the casual cloths is rather annoying.
22  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Unofficial AL Patch - Assorted Fixes on: 2008 September 26, 17:20:15
It seems that the helpful link (thanks to CTnutmegger) for getting the octogonal building again doesn't conflict or replace the AL one. It worked successfully in my game. However, I wonder if such technique could be applied to the former billboards as well ?

I don't mind about billboards with graffitti on it, but I wish  I had at least the choice as any Buy mode object to select the texture or the color.
When you build an entire urban ghetto like neighborhood, it's ok.. but when you want to build a rather rich, industrial neighborhood, that doesn't match so much.

I didn't see any fix about that yet, but this detail is of importance for me. I don't appreciate that Eaxians morons change things without even asking if that please us. Angry
23  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: CS Native Apliances Pets/FT Compatible on: 2008 May 07, 21:14:20
Havelock, you rock! Wink
24  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Get the PS Reward Aquarium here on: 2008 May 07, 11:51:42
The Crashed ship appears at the start of tthe various neighborhood objects in my game. Excepted the Ship, all appear to the end. I wondered if it's the same for you , Havelock?
25  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Get the PS Reward Aquarium here on: 2008 April 20, 01:05:10
Look into the three point section of the decoration section, it's among the first and the cheaper objects. You would see it in the first page... It doesn't showing yet?
