Yeah, forget the turntables, they suck, and take up way to much space. Not to also mention they don't work with custom cars!

Oh yes, I've recently dabbled in a car business recently, the car lot 'Sunshine Autos', named for a...car lot in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City...yeah...I have little originality. It's made my Business Tycoon Sims probably somewhere in the range of $200,000 in the matter of...maybe a week, and managed to finish off that easy 'Earn $100,000' LTW for both the Sims. Sadly, until recently, unless their next workday goes well(I just added another level to help with customer demand which will probably hurt my profits for the day) they've either had really low profit or really high profit days, always alternating between low and high. It IS a great money maker though, I love it, so much money, I might even boost the prices up to...whatever is above the one above Average.

Well, if that's all I can do, alrighty then...

I didn't have him earn a restocking badge, he came with a Silver Restocking badge, among others, I could actually promote him when I hired him. Although I will keep this in mind for the future, there is nothing I can do now. I'll admit, his 'help' is nice in the middle of the work day when I'm busy trying to help extra customers, but it's not appreciated when I am almost ready to close up shop but Mr. Wonderful decides to restock the entire store for me.

Small question, is there a way to stop BRY's influence on employees? Like stop the 'Assign's I give them through it completely? I had one of my Salespeople be a BRY Salesperson, and I want to sever him from BRY completely and make him a salesperson the long Maxis way, as he is doing something I absolutely forbid: Restocking. Sims controllable by me are the only ones allowed to restock in my world, as I run businesses very carefully, and sales-restockers are messing up my careful plans, not to mention my profits. So is there a way to do this, or do I have make him a manager, ahead of when I wanted to, and try to get rid of it there?

As am I. Currently It's not much of a problem...I rarely use it, only my Mayor Sim is using it, but it's annoying when things go missing.

Hmm, yes, that is true. I get lag myself during those times, not nearly enough to bother me though, having played this game without a video card before, lag no longer bothers me.

Oh yes indeed. Man, why didn't Maxis include Dawn and Dusk for longer than a friggin' second, it's absolutely gorgeous.

I'm guessing 'Memory... > Clear Trash... > From Me' is for either: A. Townies who have been affected by that hack you had that stopped their amnesia when moving in, or B. Sims who simply have far too many memories? I noticed it got rid of 'Met Sim' memories and a moving in memory. If not, what's it do? I hate being tempted by shiny red buttons...
9  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Can I play Seasons yet? on: 2007 June 29, 20:39:06
Yeah you can play it now, hell you could have played it from the day it was released. They actually did a somewhat decent job...
10  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Great, I knew Maxis would break my game even more someday... on: 2007 June 27, 06:27:57
That would be awesome. And indeed, it must be named 'Dude, where's my car?'.

I lost two damn Mustangs to lot reload. I wish someone would have told me about that...at least it finally got me to start 'Patch Proofing' my game.

Something else I've also noticed, a beard has been missing ever since I installed Seasons. It's the big scruffy 'hermit' beard. The mayor of my neighborhood is wearing the beard, so it still works, it's just missing from Change Appearance and C-A-S. Is that Maxis stupidity or just my game being stupid? I hate it when things go missing...

Edit: Only the Black hair hermit beard is missing. The Brown, Blond, and Red haired hermit beards are all there. Not sure about the Elder version, don't have any Elders in my neighborhood. Great, this is a conspiracy...

Really, never heard of that. Guess I need to pay more attention...

Something I just noticed, not sure if it's patch related or my game being stupid:

All computers, even custom computers, are depreciating before they should. If you place a computer, go into live mode and play for even just a second, then come back to buy/build mode and delete it, it's instantly depreciated as if it stayed past 12:00 AM. No other objects seem to do this, as I tested a few objects to see if they were affected in a similar way; no dice.
