1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Maternity wear request on: 2009 June 22, 10:59:26
We need something doing about this.

This is "Teen Pudding" coming out of the hospital after some hospitalisationeration with her new baby "Rice Pudding"
Note the turnmybackonyou attitude of disgust from the old guy up the back, even he can't stand to look.

How long should I try with one partner before deciding it's not going anywhere?  So far my sim has not had option to Confess Attraction or Ask to move in (on romance menu) for any sim, even ones she's been woohooing the socks off night after night.

It would be kinda nice to see her settle down with someone - any tips?

Sorry if this seems like stating the obvious, don't mean to insult your intelligence, but maybe she has the unflirty trait perhaps? This happened to me. Took me ages to realise why I had a problem with my frigid baitch! Smiley

My newly built lot in my game.

-snip-

That lot looks great!  It's good to see that the CAST system can actually be used to pull off some really nice color coordination.  On the off-chance you ever decide to upload it somewhere, I'd love to have a link  Smiley

Yeah most of these look pretty good, but is it just my graphics card or is there a kind of flat Emulsion look about everything, especially on the sims?

Worse than I feared. I was hoping it was something that could be fixed. If it's a "feature", then EA suck.

I was hoping EA would come up with some more creative ways for sims to die.

Thankyou Killallah. The idiot poster is rude and obnoxious, so IT gets a rude reply in kind.  My post has nothing to do with overheating. People are paranoid lately 'bout overheating. Jeeeeesus! I've no idea why the moron keeps referring to me as a noob, since I worked for years as a computer programmer for a well known games company (which I'm not going to mention here).  Anyway, nuff said. People can Google Vsync and see for themselves what I'm chatting about.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: might be helpfull ? or not ? frame rate limiter on: 2009 May 31, 21:08:56
You're talking shit butty boy. You think you can make up stuff now and say oh it's down to Sims 3, Sims 3 runs differently. You're just trying to defend your crap. Like I said, you know jackshit. You're talking out of your arse. Turning off Vsync is recommended just about everywhere, on every gaming forum and even by EA themselves. So go Google Vsync and do some research before you spout off your crap. Prick.

10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: might be helpfull ? or not ? frame rate limiter on: 2009 May 31, 20:50:53
I've found that turning off Vsync significantly increases performance on any pc game I've ever played. Some say it causes graphic issues but I've never noticed any, just a faster game.

I might be a Noob and sheep but at least I'm up on current problems and happenings with TS3. Maybe you should go read a few other threads and learn why he posted this.

Then learn, as I'm am trying to do, not to open your mouth and put your foot in it up to the hip.

What the fuck you talking about dickwad? You're just another idiot who wants to sound off without thinking first. Read my post. I was merely helping out people who might have sluggish games running. Turning off Vsync can increase performance. You're an idiot for trying to flame me for giving a helpful post. Arsehole.

80% of the people are having overheating problems with TS3 due to FPS (If you had read the forums and posts contained there in you would know this). I can see why they should turn Vsync off to help increase their overheating problem. You're just another dumbass that is trying to cover his own ass, n00b. Learn to read before you spout, fuckwad. Butthurt much?

Turning off Vsync does not cause overheating you fucking dumbass butty boy. You're just some little geek prick who thinks he knows it all. You know jackshit.
I've never had an overheated card or cpu and I always turn off Vsync. Your momma done teached you wrong boy. Whatever you say, you're wrong so don't waste yourself. Suck it up and learn.
11  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Grainy & wonky :) on: 2009 May 31, 18:46:12
Anybody else getting grainy and/or wonky portraits? Easel paintings come out perfect but the portraits and cellphone photos are screwed- big grainy pixels and lopsided. I'd like to know a solution if somebody else had this problem and solved it. Cheers.

18  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Razor1911 release vs. Reloaded release on: 2009 May 28, 14:40:52

Nah it's not an overheating problem. We're running it on a new, fast puter. Anyway, haven't had any weird stretchy toddlers either. Apart from the crashing with the other crack no other bugs or problems. Whole game feels like playing TS2 all over again before the exp packs, though.
Loving the global aging (or ageing, for us Brits and the Grammar Police) Smiley

I'm still running the RLD version (because unlike you lucky bastards overseas, I have to deal with bandwidth capping).

I bet you're on VirginMedia. The tight bastards. Wink
19  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Razor1911 release vs. Reloaded release on: 2009 May 28, 07:48:14
I downloaded and installed the Reloaded version, and then for shits and grins the Razor version. Right off the bat with the Razor version I noticed less crashing, though it still happens, and a very slight speed up in the fast forward options. However, it could be because of the fresh install rather than any real changes in the code.

We had the RLd version and had the game crashing every couple of hours of play. But with the Razor crack running the RLD version, no crashing at all and most of the graphics settings are on high or medium. Anyone else who has crashing every couple of hours, you might want to try it. Get the Crackfix version of the crack by Razor  (it's about 11mb I think) and just replace the RLD crack (the 29 mb one) if you installed the RLD version of the game already. As I said, worked a treat for us.

22  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: No censor hack for TS3 on: 2009 May 26, 01:06:56
Oh wow, I leave for a bit and come back and find fighting going on. This is why I love MATY, at least here we can enjoy it openly.
*plunks fat ass down and gets comfy to watch the rest*

I did really come back for a reason, the censor blur package works great. Thanks , now I agree with KiKi we need some crammyboy and skintones to make this worthwhile. If you want some help KiKi I'm here with nothing to do but watch the fight.

What fight? Wink Not me this time. Funny I never had a single flame war in years of being online until Sims 3 discussions started. People gawn krazeeee over it. Had two fights already, once because I had the audacity to suggest that the RLD version of Sims 3 wasn't the real deal, and again because I had the audacity to suggest that modders are smart enough to give us some CCs for Sims 3 soon enough. Ahh the sweet smell of vindication. LMAO. I couldn't believe it when I saw a censor hack here already. Nice one. Thanks for that. Will be emailing it to a mate soon as, to have it checked out. Will report if it works for us. I'm on my gf's laptop since my puter went mad with a virus.

I'm with you Jello  on the boob jobs, we need Warlokk's bodyshape style work going on. Can't imagine Sims without Warlokk. Smiley Sadly though I heard he retired from modding.

Fuck you. You don't quote my evidence I notice. Can't take it to be wrong. Up yours. You think I give a shit about defending a fucking pirate called Rewanked or whatever. I got better things to worry about. Take your head out of your mother's ass.
24  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Technical problems with THE HORROR: downloading, installing, and running it on: 2009 May 22, 18:03:22
I've never had a problem with RELOADED or ViTaility cracks for my sims 2 stuff - I'm not sure how many reloaded to vitality I've had, I think its mostly been the latter, but both have a good rep to my knowledge.

And everyone can make a mistake, that doesn't mean dodgy, it means an error was made - dogy means came with viruses and the like - big difference.

Just one example:
Area 51 No-DVD Crack By Reloaded Doesn't Work ... http://fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=82607

And anyone remember this? ... http://www.cdrom-guide.com/forums/showthread.php?t=274994

So you see, people who are quick to jump on me and tell me I'm wrong don't know what they are talking about.

I rest my case.

25  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: THE HORROR: The REAL TS3 Scoop As It Unfolds on: 2009 May 22, 17:38:32
You're wrong. The crack is twice the size of the original TS3 file. Take a look. With the Sims 2, the original crack was bad and affected gameplay. I remember it clearly. Same thing, perhaps.

The size of the EXE may just be a function of compression.  It doesn't mean that someone has changed the game code.

But it could mean that.
