126  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Is there a way to undo the "beauty" wish in FT? on: 2008 March 03, 17:10:46
According to the L&P guide quotes on the BBS, the effect wears off in four days.
127  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: What do I do with these ones? on: 2008 March 03, 17:08:19
The general recommendation is to remove all hack, place new FT Shiny hacks.  The non-updated ones have usually been obsoleted, merged, or tossed for Pescadoan reasons.
128  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Can't earn enthusiasm points on: 2008 March 03, 16:58:56
Hobbinate works well on tinker, if one has the buildable car, and on film/literature.  The rest error out after macro->call friends.
129  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Testingcheatsenabled "Make selectable" question on: 2008 March 03, 16:57:14
The selected sim is the one doing the "making selectable", so you sill see his/her face.  You're doing it right, but chickening out at the last click.
130  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Pre-FT Sims have no Hobby Enthusiasm-Is it Normal? on: 2008 March 03, 15:51:04
The sim's predestined hobby won't be highlighted until it actually receives hobby points in that hobby.  So you have to do the roundabout hobby run.  Just do two or three seconds of each type of hobby until you get a noise and a pop-up.  The pop-up says something like "Wow, I'm really glad I tried that <whatever> hobby."
131  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: The Sims Computer Won't Shut Off +++ on: 2008 March 03, 13:46:47
It means to use Pescado's "stuckobjremover" by placing it on the same location you had the other object.  It should disappear, and take any stuck objects with it.  It can be found in the /samples directory related to your most recent EP.
132  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 March 01, 00:04:14
FT loads fairly quickly for me.  None of those BV 20-min loads have been reported, to my knowledge, and I have great load times.
133  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Abandonated Mods Needing Updates for Free Time on: 2008 February 29, 20:50:50
Dizzy has FreeTime hacks up on Laden Swallow.  "Spiral-ft1.zip"
Here
134  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 February 29, 04:36:20
Receiving empty wants again.  Horrid.  They are:

unnamed wantable object category 10102 (+500)
unnamed wantable object category 10104 (+1000)
unnamed wantable object category 10103 (+1500)

I haven't yet figured out what they are.

Also, the "permaplat issue":  Some people are having problems with asp reward objects not working for permaplat sims.  I did, and have since reinstalled, and the problem magically went away.  No clue what caused it.
135  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bon Voyage Patch #2: Now on thesims2.ea on: 2008 February 28, 02:46:10
BV second patch is apparently not in FreeTime.  I believe the recommendation is to patch, then install.
136  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: The Official TORTURE EMMA DAY Thread! on: 2008 February 26, 19:09:55
That can't possibly be a Pescado child.  It is deformed, and would have been exposed at birth.

RTFM = Read The Fucking Manual
138  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Wardrobe Wrangler Released! on: 2008 February 25, 11:50:45
If the Family IDs of the hairs in question are identical, then it will choose the correct gray.
139  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Tutorial: Clean custom neighborhoods and Townie creation (Updated for BV) on: 2008 February 20, 15:10:15
Shift-click vs. click is an obvious possibility.  Another one is to use the cheat from the startup.cheat or neighborhood window.  Make sure you are SHIFT-clicking on the objects/sims, though.

There's KISSING on MATY?  Eeeew.
141  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Do veggies from sickly plants give food as much gumption as thriving ones? on: 2008 February 14, 04:15:16
I don't know.  Perhaps El Presidente will see this and comment.
142  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Do veggies from sickly plants give food as much gumption as thriving ones? on: 2008 February 14, 03:52:31
I haven't seen yucky juice provide any benefits.  Only good stuff.  I may be mistaken.
143  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Wants & Fears Sanity "Death To All Nesses" Public Beta Edition on: 2008 January 29, 17:59:05
I assumed that if they had the want, they were ready to settle down, and the fear was pre-wedding jitters and fear of losing their freedom.  Seemed logical and very real-life emulating.
144  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: The bork pool for L&P Sims 2 "Free Time / Hobbies / Numpty Crap" EP7 on: 2008 January 23, 22:16:22
Toddlers will be allowed to go to the "Special" lots in the car, but the animations will be borken, resulting in ADHD, and the sim-parents will attempt to take the toddlers to regular community lots in the car, which will PHAIL and crash the game.

ETA:  Upon the crash, both car and Sims will be stuck in limbo, and we will need Pes's Awesomeness to get the sims back.  The car will be lost forever.
145  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Please change back the FAQ thread title! on: 2008 January 23, 10:01:19
I agree.  George Clooney is not my thing.  Now, Steven Strait, however, would get me to read the thread.
146  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Owned businesses cannot be visited since BV on: 2008 January 23, 07:55:49
Owned businesses show up fine in my game.  People may be viewing and not posting because they cannot help.  I didn't post the first time I viewed for that reason.  I hope one of the morning crew will know something that will help you.
147  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: The bork pool for L&P Sims 2 "Free Time / Hobbies / Numpty Crap" EP7 on: 2008 January 10, 12:04:43
Somehow they will break the birthday cakes, after making them bake-able.
148  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: The bork pool for L&P Sims 2 "Free Time / Hobbies / Numpty Crap" EP7 on: 2008 January 10, 09:44:38
Every time we leave the sim alone for 3 seconds, the sim will be using the new "dance bar".
Fridges will be borken storing leftovers of the new foods.
Multiple sims will race to get to a random new object every 30 seconds.
Something that is supposed to raise *random motive here* will lower it instead.
Sims will become "stuck" at the new game tables.
Pathing a la driveway on the game courts.
149  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Vacation townies as playables on: 2008 January 01, 01:15:43
Ok, this may be a stupid question, but are you using a custom-content refrigerator?  A lot of the custom refrigerators are not updated for seasons.
150  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Put Away Leftovers > Get Leftovers > ...Nothing there. on: 2007 December 31, 01:31:11
I'm not certain about produce, but I do know that leftovers are not connected to an individual fridge.  (I learned this in my apocalypse nhood.)  I think I remember that fresh food points go away.  I will double check next time I play.
