If you have Indie Stone Mod, you can click on their cell phone, click Tweaks, click Genetically Modify Active Sim, and you're back in CAS.
Alternatively, if you have AwesomeMod, I'm pretty sure you can revert to CAS by entering in the cheat bar, "editsim [Sim name]", but I'm not completely sure about that.

Yep, that would be correct.

Ah!  Wonderful!  Thanks so much.
3  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Anyone know of a Mod to off your sims? on: 2009 August 09, 20:42:13
My Legacy house has become bugged for some reason, and no one ages, despite the fact that aging is on.  The rest of the neighborhood progresses just fine, as the teenager next door became a YA not too long ago, but no one in my active household is aging and, well... I'd like to off them.  I've been keeping track of the days to age the kids up manually, but I don't have the option to old-age kill the parents.  I did a search, but turned up nothing.  Is there a mod somewhere that triggers the ability to have your elder sims die of old age on command?
4  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Any idea what mods could be screwing up my game after patching it? on: 2009 August 02, 02:33:15
have you tried the mod compatibility checker?

http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=352474

but it sounds like a patch issue with the way its crashing.  A lot of people have been having the same scenario after they patched their game.

This is only useful for making sure that you don't have mods installed that clash with each other.  It's useless for telling you if it's incompatible with the base game.
5  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Patch 1.3 Released on: 2009 July 30, 21:44:49
I give up.  After reinstalling my game 3 times trying to get the damn thing patched AND working, I still have fail.  This last time, I thought it was working, until 2 minutes into gameplay, my new character froze.  Everything around her worked, but she was a statue, and so were her stats.  So I reset her, try again with a new task, and she not only freezes, but disappears.

I'm reinstalling vanilla again, patching to 1.2.7, and then calling it for now.  It was working just fine with the glitches.

If this doesn't work, I may resort to sacrificing kittens. Roll Eyes

That shit ain't even funneh.
It was meant to go along with the voodoo implications.  After all, there aren't enough virgins to go around anymore.

I join the reinstall crowd, but with a fun new twist.

I had to uninstall (which in my case worked, with my System Mechanic), reinstall, run both patches, re-up my saved data, mods, downloads, etc, and then I crossed my fingers and gave it a go.... epic fail.  My Legacy house (and actual, whole town I later found out), became entirely unplayable for me.  I had no thumbnails, no abilities to interact with anything.  Didn't matter where I went or which house I went to, I got to watch the Sims play themselves.  Removing mods and trying again made no difference, so I figured I somehow corrupted my saved data, and decided, reluctantly, to start a new neighborhood again.

This time I decided to try Riverview, since I have no luck with Sunset Valley.  Loaded it up, grabbed my Legacy founder from the Library, and for some reason, couldn't buy a blank plot of land... any plot of land.  Why?  Because for some inane reason, they all cost multi-millions of dollars!  Every freakin' property and house in Riverview either cost upwards of 1 mil or absolutely nothing.  So, just as a test, I decide to load up a random pre-set family from there, just to find out how borked my game really is.  Never loaded.  After an hour of it saying it was still loading, I gave up.  I am now redoing my game again.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Patch 1.3 Released on: 2009 July 29, 03:20:19
I'll wait till patch has been tested properly anyways. Usually new patches always bring a whole set of new headaches. So far EAxis has never disappointed us in that department. If there's something you can count on is them screwing something up.

Took the words out of my mouth.

I think it's hilarious that they are getting around to "fixing" things that Pescado actually fixed months ago, but I wonder what new headaches are they going to inflict upon him now with their half-assed fixes?
10  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Indie Stone Now with added Awesomeness on: 2009 July 21, 03:15:53
I jumped when I saw this thread because I've been really wishing for a better Story Mode.  For some reason, my game absolutely will not load with the two most recent versions of awesomemod and indiestonemod (Just the mod, not the core). It does the whole "loads blue screen some" and then crashes.  The differences between this and the "usual" loading ctd are:

 1. It always crashes in the same place with Indiestone.
 2. It never, never loads....not ever. (unlike the usual ctd which eventually starts up after multiple tries)
 3. My game loads normally without Indiestone mod

Has anyone been able to use the two most recent successfully?

Just installed the latest versions of both about two hours ago, deleted all cashes, and I've been playing wonderfully.  So good to have my AM possibilities back, with the IndieStone progression.
11  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Gender-confused newspaper kids? Or me being ignorant? on: 2009 July 21, 03:05:29
Was informed by my story mod today that there was a male baby born into my neighborhood named Amanda.  Not ever in my life have I heard of Amanda being a gen-neutral name.

Was playing just a bit ago and had this pop up in the corner of my screen.

http://img268.imageshack.us/i/insanep.png/

Made me shoot soda through my nose and onto my screen, which is never fun times.  Anyone ever seen this before?  I currently am trying out IndieStone's Mod and I would like to know if this is from the Mod, or from the game itself.
13  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Slacker Babysitters on: 2009 July 18, 19:36:36
I know exactly what you mean; I had twins toddlers, both parents had to work, hired a sitter.  The sitter did well until the sprogs social's got too low, and then went batshit.  Both kids started crying, the babysitter, and then the maid too, went to stand right in front of them, and just look at them.  They stared until Dad got home from work an hour later, then both took off.
14  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: WooHoo and Baby wishes - meh on: 2009 July 18, 17:39:04
I had a Family-Oriented Sim once who, almost immediately after getting married, got the Want to have a baby with her husband.  The next day, the Want rolled to Have First Baby.  A few still-not-pregnant days later, she rolled Have a Baby, with no specific sim listed for with.  I figured the poor thing was hearing her pixelized biological clock ticking, and by this point, didn't care who the father was.
See, that's the point where I'd be wanting to lock all 3 wants, get her pg asap and score megga points when the baby arrived.  But then, I'm a shameless point farmer in this game.
Of course I did!  It was wonderful; when she actually got pregnant, she rolled Have a Boy, which a few apples ensured.  Ended up with around 12,000LTP's, I believe.  However, the inability to lock any other wishes in the few days between conception and birth sucked.  Thank the Gods for AM's Fulfill Unlocked wishes option now.

Fine, I would allow that, if not for the fact that I made that same mistake the very first time I searched, and noted right away the tree at the corner which clearly showed me that I'd only searched in the forum I was in.  Common sense led me out to the main page to try again, an lo and behold, I found the answer I sought.  Which, funnily enough, was for my own Red Square problem.
17  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: I think my game is FUBAR, but why? on: 2009 July 17, 03:40:03
This will be better for your game, anyway. If you're adhering to Legacy rules as strictly as you seem to be, your family is living on the biggest lot there is. Moving them to a smaller one might put off the BFBVFS, especially if your computer is old/slow/ornery.

Did you try the old standby of deleting the cache files?

EDIT:   Roll Eyes wrong game.

Might try Zazazu's idea anyway, just because I never need that much space for a sim house.

And, yes, I delete the cache files whenever I download, change, or delete a mod.  So, about twice a day, at least, lol.
18  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: I think my game is FUBAR, but why? on: 2009 July 16, 20:54:30
Ah, but in Legacy, you can't age them until you get the message that it's their birthday.  And you can't move.  But, with Awesomod, or least TestingCheatsEnabled true, I can shift click to age them up.  The problem is that no parties suck, lol.  That was always my fastest way of making Charismatic sims lots of frends.  Plus, no campaign parties for Political sims.

It's only that neighborhood that's FUBAR, so I'm gonna have to restart.  Again, however, if anyone can clue me into where I got screwed, so I don't do it again, please let me know.

EDIT: Nope, no pizza's.  In fact, her husband was the former pizza boy, and I haven't ordered another since they got married.  XD  I had just summoned the party, and I was in the house each time I tried.
19  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: I think my game is FUBAR, but why? on: 2009 July 16, 20:03:55
I saw that coming, lol.  I'm only hoping to find out what I did wrong, so I don't rinse and repeat.
20  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Frustrated with Sims just standing in place in droves whining about motives on: 2009 July 16, 19:41:47
My freewill is Medium, and I've never had a problem.  I see Sims jogging, swinging in the park, playing chess, etc.  I've even seen a fight downtown in front of the Library.  And I have THE minimum system requirements for my game, so I don't know what it could be.   Undecided
21  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / I think my game is FUBAR, but why? on: 2009 July 16, 19:39:58
I had this wonderful malfunction occur yesterday, and now I can't move on from this point, no matter what mods I take out or put in, or options on or off.  Since it happens without Awesomemod as well as with, I'm asking here instead of in the AM Bug thread.

I was playing my Legacy family, whom just had their first baby a few sims day ago.  It's the day of the baby's birthday, but for some reason, trying to throw a party results in my entire family freezing, and then disappearing.  It happens within minutes of calling to throw the party, no matter what my sims head off to do in the meantime for preparation, and regardless of the time or who I invite.  I've tried updating Awesomemod, removing AM, using IndieStone's mod, removing every mod I have, etc, and nothing makes a difference. This most recent attempt, with IndieStone's mod installed, resulted in this error message appearing on screen as my Sims locked up: anyone wanna try to decipher it for me?

http://img507.imageshack.us/i/simsfuckup.png/

Also, though I don't know if it's relevant, the "day" before this happened, I had my sims call in a babysitter while Dad was at work, so Mom could go hold some meetings while on maternity leave.  For some reason when mom returned and the babysitter went to head out, instead of deducting her fee, it added $160,000 to their funds.  I used the 'familyfunds' cheat to edit it back down to what it should be, since this is a Legacy game.
22  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Story Mode on: 2009 July 16, 01:58:24
Kinda funny to come on here today and find these thread, when the IndieStone mod vrs Awesomemod thing has been what is mainly on my mind lately.  I have been a very serious Awesome devotee, until I found the Indie mod two days ago. Since the, I've been kinda going back and forth, playing out with one for awhile, then quitting without saving and playing out with the other.  I've noticed that my "townie" (i.e., any Sim not being actively played by me, in my definition) Sims get promotions and demotions like crazy, have had a massive flood of babies, and the romance has been so heavy that there were no non-NPC single guys when I got around to finding my Sim a man with the IndieStone mod, while with the Awesomemod, the soap opera drama stuff takes a backburner, and the majority of the storyline notices I get are attempted move-outs and move-ins.  Too bad for me, I like soap opera drama.   Grin  But I dearly miss my other Awesomod benefits while playing with Indie, like the Smarter Chair Finder, No Magic Scrolls, etc.  I'd love more than anything to see the two combine somehow, though I understand that it won't be in the vein that I would hope to have.  So, here's my question: how badly will I fuck up my game by switching back and forth between the two mods?
23  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: File that decides Maxis "townies"' names on: 2009 July 14, 14:46:46
Man, and I've spent the morning looking for a change name Mod, only to find this.  Sorrow.

I started a new neighborhood for Legacy, started out by deleting all humans, and some of my fun new townies include Meghan Fox and Julia Stiles.  While funny, they aren't as bad as Shaquetta Woodstock (a blond, blue eyed little girl), or the newly born Albert Fish.  I'll be keeping an eye on that one.
24  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Problem with stroy mode of awesome mod: silver town. on: 2009 July 13, 13:11:20
Books written by sims have never appeared in my bookstore, only the library.  It would be nice if they could be bought, however, rather than just stolen from the library.

1) Give us more couples and babies from it.
Let more marriage and move-in happen between single sims and let the couple have more babies. Please let singles get married more frequently with their friend.  It seems that many non-active single sims to have great difficulty in making friend or finding spouse. There should be some matchmaker. And make the couple have more baby. We want baby!!!!

It's kind of a rough fix, but using the "Baby Boom" cheat supposedly grants every household both a baby and a toddler.  Doing it every so often will help for now.
25  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: What are the "NPC" households listed when I do ListHomeless? on: 2009 July 10, 16:16:11
I think Mim meant that the NPC's can't be moved to houses.
