No, this is what I get. There's two ways. A- Decrapify and deal with dupes. B- run through s3rc, open with custard, uncheck everything but the world file, decrapify, install, and get a base save from someone with a legit install. Or a made-over save from someone with a legit install. This person did makeovers for HS and BB that are worth looking at for this method. I use both. No, you still need to install the base EA or HS as well.
Also, the latter method does work, and flawlessly. I use it myself. Now, get back in your dome!

When a family is Chosen with AM, does that include the horses? As in - they cannot breed while not being played? I had the oddest thing, a family I hadn't played for some time appeared in the screen with an extra three foals. But when I went into the household, there was simply the Sim and her horse, and the horse was not pregnant.

Well, MAYBE YOU SHOULD POST A PUDDING, or something, so I can add LAZORS to it.
I made a pudding specially. (Game is patched to 1.26 and there is Pets content.) She does need LAZORS, I can't make those. But they should be pink! In RL I do wear more moderate glasses. She really needs bewbzors. And a cigar. Thick, Columbian. None of your little Panatellas. The only CC I believe is the nails\claws. They were made by someone called Natali on Mod the Sims 2. Oh, the hair is from the Store, a freebie ages ago. Likes: Fighting, martial arts, gym. Books, writing, computers. Traits she has in the download are Athletic, Bookworm, Disciplined, Green Thumb, No Sense of Humour; of course you could change these. Other traits you could add include Absent-Minded, Dog lover, Computer Whiz, Born Saleswoman, Clumsy, Eco-Friendly, Hopeless Romantic, Rebellious, Megalomaniac (this trait appears not to be for PC, sadly). Download the .sim file http://www.simechoes.org/simsechoes3/downloads/Sims/tlights/TitaLights.zipDownload as a Sims3Pack also available on the same page http://www.simechoes.org/simsechoes3/downloads/Sims/tlights/tlkights.htmlFor more accuracy: Closer to a witch than a fundamentalist, dislikes most spectator sports, bigots and bitchbots, prefers (LARGE) dogs to cats or horses, dislikes small pets. Preferred gender of partners - up to you. Edited to fix links. My bad.

Well, Eeyore, if there is a fix for the WA\Generations problem and it's somewhere on this site, I have not been able to find it, and believe me, I searched long and hard. I didn't WANT to lose my worlds where I have spent so much time building. I am merely replaying what was said to me. Wilful ignorance it ain't; I'll admit I might be stupid! but if so, help me not to be stupid instead of bashing me over the head. Or GBYH.

Oddly, according to Jeromy and others, the ONLY problems with WA are those that hit straight away before you install anything later. Actually, that's not true. (Maybe no-one here plays the WA stuff). Lots of people HAVE had trouble with the EA features, at various stages of installation. Try the EA boards or MTS2, you'll get a more helpful response. The fact is EA broke something in the WA gameplay with some patches or some EPs. For me it was Generations or the patches around Generations. Everything worked beautifully for me till then. But those bugs that no-one else ever has, have killed my worlds. No, no one else has ever had these problems in the entire history of the game, and certainly never on here in any of the other threads.

Actually, it's you lot that have no consistency. If necromancy is bad, it's bad.
You can't have it both ways. Either accept necromancy or don't. But don't flame me for following the site's rules, after you told me off for doing same. I never claimed to be exempt from the rules. But if I do stuff wrong, I learn not to do it again.
I made a new thread because at least as far as it has affected me, this bug has ONLY happened since I installed Generations. For me, at least, it is NOT a pre-Generations problem.
Also, I'm waiting to see if the Jeromy bitchbot will respond as soon as I post, as it has so many times.

If you can remember that far back, Jeromy, it wasn't me who was voted into the Dome.
Nor would I ever expect help from you, and as for unknownuser, who the hell are you?
I don't think my question was unreasonable, and as I said, I did search. Strangely enough, there are SOME people here whose knowledge I respect. I was aiming my question at them.

I know I installed Generations much later than most other people; before that I played WA extensively with other EPs and had no problem at all with it. So I assumed it was a problem with Generations, hence my question, reinforced by my reading on other boards. There is one thread here about Generations, which is nearly 3 months old, so I did not post there. By User documentation I meant the files in my My Documents folder. What I was saying was I generated a new, clean game, and STILL had a non-arrival.
As for you, unknown|User, if you are not offering help or information, GBYH.

With only AM installed, no other package CC, my Sims going abroad are breaking. Not able to interact with locals, one got stuck OUTSIDE the wall of the bathroom of that mountain base camp in China. Above a large cliff. reset Sim didn't work.
After that, all visits to overseas seemed to have problems. In a brand new game with all User documentation removed, not even AM installed, Sim sets off for China and never arrives. Empty China screen, no playable Sim at all.
I found some mention of this on the EA boards but no help, and yes I have searched extensively here.
Anyone have any (polite - not you, Jeromy, I know that's completely impossible for you) suggestions? Or is it just wait till EA gets their act together and fixes it?

no, it's Go Boil Your Head. If Jermy can greet me with an acronym, I don't see why I shouldn't greet him in a similar manner. But you feel free to give him a hug, Mim.
