Hooray! This noob brings us gay pronreaux! I vote we keep this one.

Aforementioned noob does appear to have some authority on gay pr0n, which is a highly marketable skill of course.. It would behoove us to accept him into the fold.

With better textures and a bit of imagination, those objects could look pretty good.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. I think several of those items have a lot of potential, and only look fugly because of the poor pattern choices.
28  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Store & Exchange Open for viewing on: 2009 May 29, 14:50:31
Nope.. I have zero points.
29  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Store & Exchange Open for viewing on: 2009 May 29, 14:37:50
Well.. I think their choice of patterns [crappy wood pattern especially] is making some of the objects uglier than they actually are. Certain other objects have no such excuse though.
30  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Store & Exchange Open for viewing on: 2009 May 29, 14:30:51
LOL! How do you roll something which has hexagonal wheels?

31  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Store & Exchange Open for viewing on: 2009 May 29, 14:23:35
The quality of a lot of the items seems better than what I've seen in screenshots of the game. This is very cruel of EAxis. Cry

I disagree, take a look at the toilets:
http://store.thesims3.com/productList.html?categoryId=11509&scategoryId=11533&pcategoryId=11532&index=0

The lines on those are just as jagged as the bras close up in the game.

Hmm.. I had the clothes and hair closer in mind when I posted that, I should have specified. However, a lot of the objects seem a little less plain than the ones I've seen from in-game pictures.

I don't know how well youtube linkage will be appreciated, but every time I read this thread it makes me think of this.

P.S. Gay Asian Kitten FTW.

For SimplyComplex: I was debating on whether or not to watch you get eaten alive, but I decided to say something. I tend to be a 'nice' guy, yet manage not to get torn to shreds on this website. Consider that fact as I bestow upon you some very valuable advice: Being full of sugar and spice is ultimately your prerogative, and therefore should only affect you. Being a sensitive person doesn't necessarily make you a target on this forum until you begin preaching about morality. This forum is not the real world, there are no injustices to fight, and no one is forcing you to be here. For your own sanity and ours, if you can't handle the brusque atmosphere, then find somewhere else to play.

Some teasing, and insults are simply things to be expected here, and so what if they are? Letting anonymous people over the internet get under your skin is just plain silly. Being a part of this forum means pulling on your big boy/girl pants and understanding that these are people you will most likely NEVER meet in the real world, and therefore anything said or done here should NOT be taken personally.

This is not the BBS, so I'm not going to go about starting any rumors for the heck of it. If I issue a statement, it will be, within the qualifiers given, true.

Duly noted.

Moi? Famous? Aw, shucks... I haven't even made uploaded anything in ages. My interest in Sims 2 practically went down the toilet after Pests Pets. I never even got around to reducing my Laverwinkle skin file-size after learning how to years ago.  Embarrassed

Not nearly as famous as you deserve. Your alien skins are one of only three pieces of cc I have ever been prepared to use.

This is likely due to the fact that I am an Epic Lurker, which is likely due to the fact that the last thing I really want is fame.

Its ironic that this site is so bothered about grammar, yet doesn't care in the slightest about common politeness to people you don't know.  You'd think priorities would be different.

Nothing is as you think it should be in Awesomeland.

Ah fuck up and die!

LMFAO! I just knew someone would fail to sense my sarcasm, yet I'm amazed by it all the same. I thought it was pretty obvious.

BTW, I would add that ESLs are likely going to be MORE pissed by moronic errors: they make the reading way more hard to us.

Ah, that makes sense. It always ticks me off when someone treats ESL-folk like morons when they make a grammatical error. Actually, they tend to have a firmer grasp on spelling and grammar than many of my fellow U.S.ians, and even if they don't, I just want to say to the people giving them a hard time, "--and how many languages do YOU speak?"

LOL yeah, I know who he is Cheesy (w00t you're famous!); I'm using his purple alien default replacement all the time.

Gender in TS3 appears to be somewhat more controllable than in TS2: There's a cheesecake effect at work. Eating foods containing "watermelon" increases the chance of females, eating foods containing "apple" increases males.

D'oh! When I first read this, my initial impression was that you were being sarcastic [ode to the twin rumors pre-cheesecake]... *le sigh* However, the wish to have a girl/boy now makes much more sense. Some people [I don't remember who] were understandably complaining about including a wish that only had a random 50/50 percent chance of being fulfilled, but apparently EAxis was thinking ahead this time. Provided the baby gender wish actually appears early enough for the player to influence the outcome with food.

Their fruit choice is lame, though... EAxis should have used bananas and peaches [innuendos fully intended].

39  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: THE HORROR: The REAL TS3 Scoop As It Unfolds on: 2009 May 28, 05:38:34
I'm not sure this is politically correct.

Speaking of not being PC, what happened to their babby? They buy it from Pescado's Ethiopian Challenge, or did the lady of the house have a fruitful liaison?
40  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: THE HORROR: The REAL TS3 Scoop As It Unfolds on: 2009 May 27, 16:31:56
I was actually pretty saddened by one male... he was one of my playable sim's next victims, he wasnt fat and looked ok... whenmy sim tried to flirt with him, she was accused of being rude by another male, and on further inspection, they were "boyfriend and boyfriend"... gutted.

That's life for you...  Cheesy  Wink

Well, this is awesome news... Kudos to EAxis for auto-gayness.

Edit: Stupid me just realized someone asked about autonomous gayness a couple pages ago! D'oh!.. Too many pages to read, and in my defense, I even did a search for the word 'gay' before posting my question but it didn't show!
41  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: THE HORROR: The REAL TS3 Scoop As It Unfolds on: 2009 May 27, 15:52:24
I don't want to download the arr'ed version [especially not since the real deal is coming out in a week], but I'm really curious to know from those who have been playing what the word on autonomous homosexuality is.. One person mentioned autonomously lesbian sims, but I haven't heard anyone else say anything like this. Can anyone else confirm this is possible in the game? I don't want my households to be little islands of gayness in a sea of-- well, you get the idea... I don't make all my sims gay [it's about 50/50], but if the whole town in sims 3 is gonna be straight, I gotta do my part to even out the odds... Variety is a good thing.
42  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: can i request a hack?? if so... on: 2006 December 22, 06:58:04
In the meantime, SimWardrobe.com has 1-tile pet beds.. Same as the larger ones functionally, but they take up half the space. I have them, and they work wonderfully.
43  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Satisfying baby want on: 2006 December 12, 05:23:06
... Nothing funnier than a sim-kid talking about the hot waiter, whom they've never met because they've never been downtown in all their short life, over breakfast... Or maybe it was lunch?
44  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: No! Bad dog! (Help?) on: 2006 November 15, 01:04:35
Well, I think I found the source.. There's an emitter called something to the effect of "Bark Randomly"... And well, you know Maxis and "randomization".. It never works as intended. If I can't figure out how to nix it myself, I'll begin begging Pescado and Jeff to do it for me.  Wink

Edit: Oh I give up...  Angry
45  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / No! Bad dog! (Help?) on: 2006 November 14, 20:00:08
I'm beginning to really dislike sim-dogs.. Why? Because something appears to be wrong with their programming in regards to behaviour training. My sims have a dog who constantly barks aggressively even though he is fully trained for playfulness towards others, and has a neutral aggressive/cowardly personality setting. He barks/growls at everyone and everything, and it's starting to drive me up the wall. I'm starting to wish the sims had bark-collars to put on their dogs.  Roll Eyes
46  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: pet bowl whine on: 2006 November 14, 00:48:58
Maybe they were trying to program it like the rabbit head so that it'd turn if toddlers were trying to access it, but ended up doing just the opposite? I've only had the bowl turn with my first sim kitten, and then never again.
47  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Do vampires ever stop wanting to be cured? on: 2006 November 14, 00:18:47
Gee... Now I'm glad, by total coincedence, that I restarted my neighborhood virtually right after experimenting with getting a sim nibbled then promptly cured once I realized werewolves were rather lame. He happened to live with 4 knowledge sims at the time. He himself was a Family sim. I figured it was safest to try it on him since he'd want to be cured. All 4 knowledge sims had two or maybe three wants in some way linked to werewolf stuff, and I assumed they'd eventually vanish.. especially after curing him. You mean to say that 2-3 of their 6 want slots would be filled with that junk till their deaths? Yuck! They obviously weren't thinking about the long-term when they programmed it that way... Of course, that would be assuming it was intentional.  Undecided
48  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: The Sims @ PET MOTIVE BOOSTER!!! on: 2006 October 28, 04:30:51
Enter "maxmotives" into the cheat window.. Without quotations, obviously.. This gives everyone a motive boost.
49  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: error when calling service/maid (Pets) on: 2006 October 19, 01:51:39
I got the same error message.. I posted it here before noticing this thread, tried generating some maids with the tree, and it solved everything.. Thread deleted.. Thanks for figuring it out!

Let's keep our discussion on one forum for the sake of convenience, m'kay? My response to this is in the thread on my site, as that makes more sense.
