1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New Save/World - Can't Move Around After Loading A Family on: 2012 December 04, 02:22:52
The family and the world were both EA created. It's really strange because I did a fresh install just to be sure and created a new family. After that, I loaded up other worlds to test families and it all seemed to be running smoothly. Then after a couple days of playing I decided to go back to check out the other worlds again and the issue came back.

When I load my current save game, it runs fine, there's no issues moving in new families or anything. I'll also add that I recently upgraded to Windows 8 Pro 64-bit.

I was using awesomemod for version 1.42, nothing else.
3  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / New Save/World - Can't Move Around After Loading A Family on: 2012 November 27, 01:55:42
When I start a new world and load a family, the game doesn't allow me to move or anything. It doesn't even zoom in to allow me to see my sims. The water moves and I can see birds fly in the sky but other than that, the game is basically frozen. Is this a bug or something? This doesn't happen when I play an existing saved game.

Thank you. Those flowers were fucking tacky.
5  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Sim's Feet Sinking Through Floor. SOLVED! on: 2011 October 22, 13:44:16
After updating to the latest patch and installing Pets, I've noticed that most of my sims feet sink into the floor when sitting down. I have six active sims and only one of them is not experiencing this problem. I thought it might be because of a height slider I was using so I adjusted it so that they were the same height as a regular EA sim but still, the issue persists.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any help would be appreciated. I'm currently using the latest awesomemod and a few script mods.

EDIT: Figured it out, it was Jonha's thigh size slider. Once removed the issue was fixed.

Created a family with a pet in the new town and after about 5 minutes of gameplay it CTD. Using the latest awesomemod.

If you're using sims3packs you have to uninstall it from the launcher first, you can't just install the new one on top of the old one.

I'm quite aware of that, common knowledge and such. I had originally downloaded the Generations registration gift from here first when it had originally came out but it, too, had the same issue that the one I recently downloaded from the store had. And yes, I when I decrapified it, I did it correctly. If someone posted a properly working version, I hadn't known about it.

When you say "the one from here", which one are you referring to? Last time I checked, it was being shared by various people in various formats. Did anyone disclose if they had properly working version?

Does anyone have a properly updated version of the Generations registration gift? Yesterday I re-downloaded it from the store and it still has the wonky phone with the missing receiver.

I assure you, I have never drapped in my life.

Apologies, I meant decrapped, Jeromy.

The spellbook fix doesn't need to be drapped, right?
11  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: TS3 Recompressor on: 2011 June 17, 03:01:48
Is decrapifying only for store content or should it be applied to all .sims3packs? I've been under the impression it was only for store content but if I'm wrong please correct me. Along with that, I would like to know if having decrapified content and crapified content would cause any decrease in performance.
12  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: TS3 Recompressor on: 2011 June 08, 23:22:50
After decrapifying one of my trial save games, the hair I was using on one of my sims disappeared, the hair was not from the store and was installed via a merged package in the mods folder. Does this file have to be decrappified to show back up in the game?

I should also mention that said hair does show up in CAS but when I loaded up the family, the sim with the aforementioned hair had it replaced with something from the base game.

So I have an issue and I'm not quite sure how to go about it. I downloaded the Bayside Full Set (untouched), decrapified it and installed it but none of its content showed in-game. The launcher shows that it installed correctly but that meant nothing. I unpacked the set from .rar again and ran it through S3RC and then decrapified it but the original problem continues to persist. Any advice?

Other than you're doing something wrong? Try redownloading the file and make sure you have all the latest files for decrapping, also make sure you actually tick the decrap button.

I was using the decrapify.exe where I just had to drag and drop the file, it worked on all the latest store content but I'll try out the other method you touched on. Thanks.

Mind updating this for the recent OLS patch?

Annoyance 2: My thought bubbles are ENORMOUS, and hte images inside them sometimes clip behind the bubbles depending on the view angle. This one is just horrible! But I suspect it is mod-related.

I don't think its mod related. Someone had posted screens with an un-modded game and had that same issue.

How does the addlotsize command work exactly? See, I tried typing in "addlotsize 25x30" in the cheat console but it says it's not a recognized command. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
18  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWESOMEMOD 4.0.87 (AMB) TEST THREAD on: 2010 June 28, 01:19:04
The June 27, 7:31:32 am build of AwesomeMod causes mild lag in a otherwise seamless game. When removed it`s smooth. There are no other mods and little CC.
19  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2010 June 12, 23:00:36
I was loading up a test save with awesomemod and after messing around I removed the save but completely forgot to take out awesomemod. I put back in a fresh save I was using that had never been in contact with awesomemod and saved it while awesomemod was still in the mods folder. Is this save game gonna be messed up? I never used any of the features of the mod if that is of any importance.
20  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Merging mods to increase Performance! on: 2010 June 12, 01:44:38
Is there a method, if any, for splitting a merged package into 2 smaller ones?
21  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWESOMEMOD 1.2.7/2.7.7/3.3.11 TEST THREAD on: 2010 June 06, 06:13:40
I got a CTD when saving my game in map view, I was playing for about a half hour.
22  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWESOMEMOD 1.2.7/2.7.7/3.3.11 TEST THREAD on: 2010 June 05, 09:57:47
After a couple minutes of play, a party had started and I went into map view then zoomed back down- CTD.
23  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ambitions: What's Fixed on: 2010 June 05, 04:00:37
The game now tells you how many tiles you've used when building with walls and floors.
24  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ambitions: What's borked on: 2010 June 04, 02:54:42
I am having problems with the launcher ever since updating to the latest patches & installing AMB. The career bundle & latest store items all say they have installed successfully but are marked as not installed. I have used the latest decrap & s3rc twice to try & install the items & still get the same results.

Same thing happened to me. Not that it's a big deal, I've been extracting the packages from the packs and making my own merged files instead.
25  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ambitions: What's borked on: 2010 June 02, 03:11:40
If you look when inside the windows reflect the indoors much more. I also notice the lighting and shadows are VASTLY improved (in a subtle way, if that makes sense). In particular an easel I was placing for an architect job produced a shadow on the wall when two tiles away from it, which I dont recall seeing before.

Has anyone shared the free registration stuff yet?

Yeah, the indoor lighting actually is a lot better!
