Skata I call you out as being a 12, and one who is utter phail in terms of faking, reading the FAQ and LURK MOAR. Since your posts just indicate cluelessness I will provide another warning from the FAQ.

Part 1: Don't write like a wanker.
Part 2: Emoticonning and Signature Images. DON'T.

In short RTFM!

Humbly suggest? Who do you think you are. Demand it dammit! Skata I damand you get painfully gutted with a rusty and very blunt spoon.

Well Belladonna isn't flat like I initially thought. One more useless hood to be added to the list.
30  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Apartment Life: Obligatory Hate/Love Topic on: 2008 August 27, 18:54:29
Well you read the readme to find out what the new cheats are to allow for changes to outside of apartments of which there are none.

Quote
New The Sims 2 Apartment Life Cheats:
-------------------------------
(The Sims 2 Apartment Life Expansion Pack is required for these cheats)

changelotzoning [residential | community | apartmentbase]
This changes the zoning type of the lot. Before rezoning a lot using this cheat, make sure there are no Sims currently living in the lot. To use this cheat, enter the lot that you would like to rezone, and then enter the cheat, choosing one of these zoning options.

Note that zoning a beach lot into an apartment lot will severely corrupt the ocean and lot terrain and is strongly not recommended.

printLotClass
This prints the lot's class (low, middle, or high) as well as the corresponding numerical lot class value.

changeLotClassification [low | middle | high]
This changes the lot classification of the lot. The lot will remain this classification until the following cheat is used.

clearLotClassValue
This clears any "changeLotClassification" cheat used on the lot and sets the lot class to the correct calculated value.

Forgot: I can't seem to find an option to vibrate the More Romantic Awesome Than You bed. Very cruel joke, as EAxis should know that nothing associated with MATY would be borked.

Relax on the bed first, then click on bed again. You have "Read" "Day Dream" and "Vibrate"

The text strings for almost all the spells are broken. They are missing spaces and periods.
33  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Apartment Life Borkiness, or how i ended the world in 1 hour. on: 2008 August 27, 12:28:40
The anywhere smustle has been a bork since the dance was first introduced. I've already opened a topic involving the underground helicopter, not really a bork as I was trying to do it. But I think the fact the helicopter can't be placed on the roof without cheating is a bork.
34  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Underground Helicopter on: 2008 August 27, 12:17:33
The helicopter has a massive footprint which is in most cases impractical, the pad is even larger and looks terrible. With the use of moveobjects you can place the helicopter on the roof of you buildings easily and it will work without the need of the helipad. However if you want to roof your helicopter in and still have it fly, it's a little more tricky but still possible within a few constraints. There needs only be a single tile open in the roof of the building for the helicopter to still be used, I've identified it thus:

Once the helicopter has been placed though I noticed the lot had to play for a second before it could be used. This hole must be open on every level of the house in order to work, as such I can't find a way to roof over the Helicopter and have it fly when not using flat roofs.

I've tested placing the helicopter several ways on the lot and it appears to be consistent. But I initially thought the tile moved randomly so feedback might be useful.

Alas the blades to not harm people. Needs FIX!

When in use the helicopter does look very strange. It may be possible to link a custom animation vertical door though with the helicopter to open as soon as people enter it, but I lack the knowledge to do this.

Added:
It appears I've caused a mild bit of confusion. I've clarified myself with "without the need of the helipad" as I was already finding the pad ugly and was looking for an immediate way of removing it. Also I've removed the "by default can only be placed at ground level on a flat surface" as that was in reference to the basement helicopter design, if you want to have an underground helicopter pad it has to be done via the same method of an underground garage.

I should really get some of those glasses that go totally black when something horrible is about to be seen, or not seen as they have gone black.
36  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: Make war not love - Random idea for a challenge on: 2008 August 02, 22:25:09
But banning macros puts the grind back into the game. You can be just as effective using the pause function, and if you make errors you have bad mouse eye coordination and need to play MOAR games.
37  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Aner-Dyfan's Awesomespec House 2 on: 2008 June 21, 23:37:47
Well I've decided to change the roof after all, it didn't look right next to the other awesomespec houses I've got. I've kept the older version up as well, in case people perfer that roof design.
38  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Aner-Dyfan's Awesomespec House 2 on: 2008 June 19, 18:09:48
Not that much so far. But I've not noticed any real problems. Then again that might well be due to my playing style. I generally just have 1 sim serve up dinner while the rest are still doing things around the house, and that sim is permaplat and/or at top of job so doesn't need skilling or working on.

Also I realised that since 'baby bottle only fridge' is custom content the nursery is horrendously far from the kitchen fridge. The horrors of no CC eh?
39  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Aner-Dyfan's Awesomespec House 2 on: 2008 June 19, 17:16:04
Nope. Scratch build, I just wanted to get a similar roof design.
40  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Aner-Dyfan's Awesomespec House 2 on: 2008 June 19, 00:43:00
I believe this is to basic awesomespec standards.

Features:
Cost: Just under 100k
5single  2double beds
4 bathrooms
Nursery with 2 cots
Greenhouse with 32 plots

No pet areas
Hopefully enough room for reward objects
Sparse decoration cause I don't like it/rarely see it.
Missing a couple of items due to CC used

I have all EPs. And most stuff packs, I've tried not to use much from those though

I've tried something different to what I'd normally do with the roofing. It does look rather odd in house view, but I think it works fine from neighbourhood.

I've made a small edition to the roof, after playing a bit longer on the lot I've changed the roof slightly. The rest I've kept the same.

And I thought I wasn't that good at meshing, but I do have common sense thus making my meshes believable.

A couple of these aren't that bad, but could seriously do with a touch up.

Remove all non-awesome hacks. If that fails loosen tight pants.

Yup we do Assmitten which is why they will add it, it will use different code and cause massive conflicts with the wishing well. So that if you have a wishing well anywhere in your hood on installation the hood will immediately get corrupted and explode the game.
45  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: The bork pool for L&P Sims 2 "Free Time / Hobbies / Numpty Crap" EP7 on: 2008 January 14, 22:39:43
No because that will also be broken, won't increase mechanical skill whatsoever and also borked so that if it fails to repair is will be destroyed and end up a pile of rubbish. However even a 10mechanical will not be able to repair it without a 80% failure rate.
46  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Beds cause Sims to jump on mouseover on: 2008 January 10, 15:42:44
If it occured only after the installation of WW then I suggest removing it, you know because it might be the hack causing the issue?

And anyway go run the hack conflict utility if you think it's a hack conflict. If it is you can resolve yourself (via the delete button)
47  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: The bork pool for L&P Sims 2 "Free Time / Hobbies / Numpty Crap" EP7 on: 2008 January 10, 10:19:02
Everyone's wants will be replaced by +500 aspiration ones of 'Do new action' until they get stomped, this will even occur during special scenarios such as dates and parties making such things almost impossible to do well in.
New skills won't use the already in place badge system, making almost useless in owned businesses as unable to know what people can make.
New object interactions will be worse than dormies playing piano, will in fact squash 'go to class/work' and other vital needs such as eating.
Some other way of making sims pee themselves, object will be used autonomously too.
New cars will break existing ones and fail to function properly themselves, eg go to work always results in a 'late'
Something really bad such as walls will no longer protect against noise (due to fucked up coding of new actions being noisy and having to be in a soundproofed room) however room dividers will continue to do so. Will get 'fixed' in the 1st patch by breaking the room dividers noise protection and failing to restore the walls protecting against the normal noise of stereos.
Some actions will fail to be cancelled by user, they will appear to be but sim does them anyway (bed making anyone?)
The piano will NOT get broken this time, instead all other instruments will be.
A new sim who will visit every new home like gypsy and garden club, they can help with any project you have your sims working on but will have an AI worse than the nanny.
Support for multi processor computers will come in, this won't work. Game will crash repeatedly unless user uses forcecore to only use a single core. However they then won't be able to enter the game as the option to change the number of processors the game uses will only be an ingame option. This of course will not be their fault for failing to test the game on an actual computer. A similar thing will occur for 'Now supports Vista!'
48  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Aner-Dyfan's AwesomeSpec House 1 on: 2008 January 08, 19:34:56
File Updated.

Exactly hence why I have updated to remove these missing walls. I have tested installing into my game this time and wasn't able to detect any missing walls.

Also in the update I have:
Removed the swimming pool, since they are annoying with autonomy.
Removed the basement due to deformation in the neighbourhood view.
Added a sprinkler system in the kitchen. Old version has no fire safety!
Replaced full walls with dividers in the nursery to reduce any possible pathing issues.

It is possible to throw a party at an owned lot, and yes Sims do just seem to fly over for it. Just like my owned businesses have vacation people working at them. I wasn't able to throw a party on a hotel lot using the cell phone, the option didn't come up in the menu.

Where are my ten thousand dollars?

Edit:
There might have been a problem though with the cell phone, since I tried it after the owned lot as such I might still have been thinking that lot was the 'home' despite me being checked into the hotel. Will update in a couple of mins.

Update:
Nope doesn't appear to be an option on a hotel lot.
50  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: 155 thousand error messages and still going on: 2008 January 06, 23:40:19
Sounds like you've either forgotten to plug in the extra power cable into the graphics card or the card is in the wrong type of slot (though not sure the latter is even possible)

Your PSU might not have the correct power adaptor, which might be why you haven't been able to plug it in.
