THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Is there any way to make your landscaping leave too when you have a family move out of a house? I have a house that's heavily landscaped with custom items and someone wants it but I'm trying to remove everything including landscaping.

Go into the house first, hit pause real quick, and sell off all the landscaping by deleting it.  Then save, and move the family.

A quicker way to do it would be to package the lot as is, then use clean installer to install only the lot segment to a game that doesn't have the landscaping items installed.

I haven't tested this, but I figure it's worth a try!

Smiley yeah, I was trying to avoid doing this. It was pretty heavily landscaped. That is what I ended up doing though.

I think the lot segment would include the maxis originals for custom items, and since some custom landscaping items are made from an unexpected original, you might end up with a rather wierd looking garden, and still have to remove those objects.
