computer's computer's computer's
Et tu, sooze? * Cucumberpie stabs herself to death with a misplaced apostrophe. Jeez, I dunno what has come over me recently. I think I posted that on the same day I wrote a line to SK in IRC which was basically "the cat's sat on the mat's". Perhaps my subconscious is feeling particularly possessive and greedy at the moment and thus is stamping apostrophes all over the place.

Implying that an Alienware works better than a homebrew....: I can't say the same for any of the computers I've ever built, or the computers my husband has built. Both of us have been building computers for about twenty years now, but none of them has been as hassle free as these boxes we bought from a gaming machine builder.
Is just plain wrong. Except that jesslla isn't "implying" anything. She is stating that the Alienware SHE bought is better than the computer's SHE'S built. She is talking about her personal experience, so who are you to call her a liar? Mon Dieu, could you at least try to get your head around basic reading comprehension before you get on your DIY high horse? When did I call her a liar? "Implying that an Alienware works better than a homebrew [...] is just plain wrong."

Apparently no one's heard of sarcasm on this forum. Funny, after lurking for as long as I have, I could have SWORN I saw some. I must have been mistaken. <.<
See the thing is, sarcasm actually requires a modicum of wit and intellect, which is, I suspect, why your attempts have fallen flat. Sure, any fool can mush some fermenting grapes in a bucket and call it "wine" but it's never gonna be a Bordeaux is it?

My husband and I have been building a custom bar, and we ran into a strange problem. Whenever a sim finnishes playing an intrament that we had placed when building the bar, they steal it! I mean, they grab it and put it in thier inventory. We're wondering what we're doing wrong that has made this possible, and I figured I'd ask here since the intraments in The Llama Lounge don't have this problem. We must have done something Jesslla didn't, or not done something she did.
What, pray tell is an "intrament"? I'm guessing some kind of finnish ornament. I think the problem is that Jesslla is moar betterer than you. Sozzles.

Yeah, but ESL though. Cut her some slack.
Cutting slack for ESL goes as far as spelling, grammar and punctuation, but not to announce they couldn't find the exact same problem posted anywhere else, when they go on to describe what has been discussed in a full thread. The Neverending Pause thread is about the same problem, the game hangs, time freezes, but the music keeps playing and the trees sway, etc. The problem is people, ESL or not, tend to announce that they couldn't find the "exact" same problem because they use the term "frozen sims" while others use various different terms, such as "Stuck Sims", "Locked Game", "Frozen Game", etc, thus making their problem unique and different, when in reality it is the same as what has been covered already. Coming up with synonyms for your problem is difficult when it's not your first language.

Can you take full pictures of the lots you make? These shots here seem to imply it's a square with a bar that has some chairs in front of it and games on the left and right, it isn't very flattering. Plus there's no telling what the outside looks like.
Thing is, a dance club needs space for dancing. So yeah, there is open space in the club, SO THAT PEOPLE CAN DANCE THERE.

Stuck at a bar when 6AM rolls around? Have fun hanging out in the lobby all day, lest you die on the way home. Stuff like that.
Don't bars close at like 2-4AM in the game? (I thought it should be like 6AM, but again I have no experience with real-life bars, so maybe it's a realistic closing time) [/offtopic] [IN THE USA] Closing times are determined by an establishment's liquor license, which is restricted by city/county law and, in cities like Chicago, further by neighborhood aldermen. 2:00AM is a pretty common closing time around here. A few clubs I've been to around River North (Chicago neighborhood that blends with downtown) close at 3:00AM. 6:00AM...no. People generally would have an issue with loud drunk people carousing outside their door a couple hours before they are supposed to get up. Of course that's here. It's possible that other areas let bars stay open later. LA, maybe? Isn't Lindsey Lohan always leaving clubs and causing trouble at 6:00AM? You know, there is more to the world than just Amurika. As for puddingworld, 2-4am sounds pretty reasonable to me. Most places I've been to kick you out around that time. Sure, some are open later, but that's not so common, at least in my experience.

Honestly, are you aware of what a dickhead you sound like when you post? Rather than sounding like a master of rhetoric, you come across as a pompous twat. You're more of a Mr Collins than a Disraeli.
Oh, and no, Sun Tzu was not on my reading list. I know my university is famed for its War Studies course, but I studied English Lit. I have however read excerpts from the Art of War, and the idea of you as a fearsome general is laughable. All you've done in the past month is turn people against you, even people who previously had no issue with you. Where is your army, Mirelly? At least SaraMK went out in a blazing glory of sock-mania. What's your plan, smothering us to death with your thick blanket of self-indulgent posts?

Mirelly, there is a very simple way to stay out of the Dome: STOP BEING A TARD. For years you managed to post without being a complete ignoramus - granted, you had your moments, but overall you managed to pass under the tard-DAR. It is only since your random grammar outburst that you achieved full tard-conversion. If you don't want to be Domed, you shouldn't post like such a git. Whining won't get you out of it now, it will just provide moar lulz for those of us who voted for your confinement.
Besides, I thought it was all part of your "masterplan" to get domed? Someone has changed their tune all of a sudden.

What on earth is the point of making new loading screens? If you don't like the loading screen, can't you simply LOOK AWAY from the monitor for a few minutes? Maybe at a nice floral arrangement, a modest watercolour, or, failing that, the wall. This doesn't affect gameplay nor in-play aesthetics, so I fail to see why anyone would want to bother with it.

Being a senator is supposed to mean something?
I am shocked and saddened by this cut throat attack on the Senate. How dare a vile peasant have the gall to criticise this august body. Off with his head I say. On another note, anyone else picking up notes of Boobzilla wafting from OpiumTard's general direction? OpiumTard, are you related to the aristocracy by any chance? A Scandinavian viscount or OneBigLumpistan baron perhaps?

I remember my sims names all got changed when I switched from English to French. Perhaps you at some point changed from idk US English to UK English or vice versa? * haifen shrugs I doubt that's the problem. As far as I can tell, there is no difference between UK English and UK English names in TS2. Why on earth would they bother changing the names? SILLY HAIFENS.
