26  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Evil resource devourer and texture bug on: 2009 June 26, 07:23:01
That's pretty much how my games looked liked when my video card was dying a few years back.
27  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Erm.. HELP :) on: 2009 June 23, 10:54:13
As far as I know, destroying "options.ini" in My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 should be enough to reset the settings.
28  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Oops, how do I get my selfsim back? on: 2009 June 21, 08:28:32
Select your sim and then just click on a mirror and choose change appearance. From this screen you can save your sim in .sim format.
29  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Borked Riverview names - Halp? on: 2009 June 20, 16:47:07
I had the same problem when I deleted wrong cache files. I fixed it by using the launcher to uninstall Riverview and then I just installed it again.
30  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Who is this Fugly Pudding, and why is he in my portrait? on: 2009 June 20, 16:29:04
EA obviously should've made a better default thumbnail than that to avoid confusion.
31  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Who is this Fugly Pudding, and why is he in my portrait? on: 2009 June 20, 07:25:21
This seems to be a "feature" that just sometimes happens. It seems to fix itself after some time.
32  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: How exactly can you switch households, bork or no? on: 2009 June 08, 07:12:44
To be fair that's pretty much the only way they could do it. Simulating every sim in the neighborhood would most likely make your computer explode.
33  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWESOMEMOD & SCRIPT HACKS: CRASH ISSUES THREAD on: 2009 June 07, 18:07:54
I'm receiving the same in game while playing crash.  I don't know if it's revelant or not but the crash always seems to happen at the 1:00am roll over. (Started playing at 1:37pm, saved a few times always crashed at the 1am, 5 out of 5 times)

I have the exact same problem. My game crashes to desktop always when the game clock hits 01:00.
34  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / World of Puddings / Re: Goopy MkII on: 2009 June 05, 16:10:55
I guess there's no such thing as too much Goopy. Long live Goopy.
35  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Where are important files saved? on: 2009 June 05, 08:35:15
The Library folder holds the households you've made. These are the households you can see in the bottom right corner of the "edit neighborhood"-screen. It probably also holds custom lots you've saved too but I'm not 100% certain about that.

I'm not sure about the patterns but I think they're in "userPresets.package"-file in My Docs.

EDIT: Just checked it, custom lots are in the Library folder too and the patterns are stored in "userPresets.package".
36  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: How to Torture Sims on: 2009 June 01, 06:06:07
About this electrocution matter. I had a set of stereos break down and my sim with max handiness tried to fix them. He got electrocuted but didn't die, so I tried to make him fix them again and this time he got electrocuted fatally. Looks like even max handiness may not save your sims from frying to death.
37  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Important notice from the GRAMMAR POLICE. Plz read. This means you. on: 2009 May 29, 13:20:19
So don't bother capitalizing your I's then. Maybe you should replace them with Ö's too. Ö think that would be, like, really cool.
38  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: THE HORROR: The REAL TS3 Scoop As It Unfolds on: 2009 May 21, 11:43:35
Also, did anyone notice that in the scrolling text that appears while the game loads, they say that online experience is not rated by the ESRB. Could it be possible that they intend to release an online version too?

This probably refers to custom content you can download from other users.
39  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: THE HORROR: The REAL TS3 Scoop As It Unfolds on: 2009 May 20, 05:20:05
The only argument I have that the leaked version is a beta is that the Finnish translation isn't fully complete, although this being EA it doesn't necessarily mean anything. I just found it weird that Sunset Valley is Sunset Valley even in Finnish even though in Sims 2 all the neighborhood names were translated. Also some of the street names are in Finnish while others are in English. Also all the townies and pre-made families have "foreign" names while in Sims 2 they were all... err... "Finnished". But as I said this doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Hmm, sounds worse than I thought although SecuROM didn't come as a surprise. Still I'm downloading it because I'm probably crazy or a masochist or both.
41  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful Than You! December: Freaky Furries on: 2008 December 06, 08:25:27
Gah, kill it with fire!

A part of me wants to download these... things... so I could do just that. Burn them in the cleansing fire!
42  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful Than You! December: Freaky Furries on: 2008 December 04, 17:27:56
Giraffe? That's a skin disease!
43  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: M&G carpet failure on: 2008 November 25, 05:17:08
It would be weirder if all the objects actually worked correctly.
44  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Outings baffle me on: 2008 November 19, 10:46:39
I also get the clown car taxis. Never had babies or childrens in the group though.
45  Darcyland / Lord Darcy Investigates / Re: Pie Menu Text Strings Fix (Updated 2008/11/07) on: 2008 November 19, 08:29:21
Also, you people need to volunteer to translate my stuff. When I get a free moment, I'm going to start picking out people to volunteer, and those who perform the tasks will receive the prized "not being thrown in a vat of boiling sharks" award.

I could do the Finnish translations.
46  Darcyland / Lord Darcy Investigates / Re: Pie Menu Text Strings Fix (Updated 2008/10/24) on: 2008 October 24, 09:39:00
There's this annoying little thing with radio stations in Finnish where two radio stations are separate from others because of an extra space.

It's not a big issue but I would be thankful if it would be fixed.
47  Serious Business / Spore Discussions / Re: Patch weirdness on: 2008 September 27, 04:56:11
The only weird thing I've encountered after patching is that I can no longer skip the intro screen.
48  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Oh My! I think EA might have done something smart for a change! on: 2008 September 01, 03:52:42
The game sure seems to be at least somewhat slower than before although it has been some time since I played. Just reinstalled the game and all the EPs (no Stuff Packs and only 81 MB of CC). Empty lots load fast but occupied lots take longer to load and traveling to community lots takes a long time to load too.
49  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Shitbox giving error message on: 2008 August 17, 05:29:28
Sounds like that file "devenum.dll" has exploded. You could try searching for "devenum.dll" on Google and copy it to your system32 folder. Don't know if it will help but it can't hurt.
50  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful than You! July: AUGH, get that stuff off my face! on: 2008 July 06, 16:13:05
That thing looks contagious.
