My Sim was killed by one right after she came back from an awards ceremony, but she had the death flower so she lived. She lost her moodlet for being the town hero though. I was disappointed that the meteor didn't stay behind, actually.
You can get gigantic meteor rocks now sometimes with the Miner created by the inventor bench.

Time Travel is nega-borked, in the sense that instead of being borked as expected, it is pretty nice. They even avoided the question of changing history with a "Keeper of Time" who jumps out of time portals to tackle you before you have the chance. One tag references the civil war and trying to save an important politician which freaks me out as a bit too much real world reference, but eh.
Time travel sucks ass. My Sim just got a freakin' kid out of it, due to talking to a couple that "looked familiar" and telling them how good of a couple they are. Next thing I know, she's got a child. Didn't get to pick its name, gender, whether or not I WANTED a damn kid...

Firefighting seems borked during large house fires when there are people to be saved - I had 2 people who apparently needed to be convinced, one which was a toddler and I couldn't select her to do it, and if you can't see anyone on the lot to convince to run and instead just put out the fires, the entire exercise fails and you get a bad grade at that emergency, because the game thinks you skipped it.

Do you know about this cross-pollination question? It's possible supposedly, to cross two plants. I wonder if he was just fertilizing one plant with the produce of another... he claims to be a gardening badass who knows his stuff and is writing a guide (haven't seen it yet).
I don't think that's true. I've had my Sims do tons of gardening constantly, and I've never once seen any plant bear anything other than the sort of plant it is - with the obvious exception of the omni plant.

im going insane waiting for the gardening opportunities to come, is there a mod to improve the chance so a sim can actually get it before he have to eat his 100th meal of ambrosia to stay alive?
Join the culinary career. That seems to trigger it, I've found. Otherwise, just make sure your Sim is getting out in the neighbourhood and interacting with his neighbours. Meeting people in the neighbourhood is vital to having opportunities come your way.

When you master the guitar skill you get a certificate.
When you master any skill you get a certificate. That's not news. In the military career, you get a new interaction under friendly, "salute". It's cute.

Don't read the compositions - that completely fucks it up. Keep them in your Sim's inventory, and when they're at the proper level to learn it, click it and choose Learn Song. And now that you've read it, I don't believe there's any way to go back and learn the song properly. I learned the hard way, obviously.
