Title: Awesome Things About Awesome Mod
Post by: Hambil on 2010 May 26, 08:56:47
So you know I don't just complain:

1) Supreme Commander
1a. My Sims leave the home lot!
1b. My Sims use the moodlet manager!
1c. My Sims auto-complete opportunities like teaching a class at the school, or cleaning out the bug cage...
1d. My Sims auto-repair stuff that breaks!

2) Story Engine is well balanced. I've used others that have some *very* nice features but they tend to be over aggressive to the point where everyone in my town is married and the active Sims have to break someone up just to get some action :)

3) Fixall rocks my world.

There are many other things (add your own) but those are some of my favorites.

I think people usually complain the opposite, that AwesomeStory tends to leave the player's sims with too few marriage candidates, but I suspect this heavily depends on your neighborhood population distribution: Larger neighborhoods have lower pulse rates, because story events happen at the same rate, but there are more people for it to happen to. However, you can usually influence the outcome of a story event when it is happening with sims in your neighborhood, which is unlike other story drivers. With other story drivers, they declare "it happened, there's not a damn thing you can do about it, and it happened even though you were watching the guy it happened to and nothing happened". AwesomeStory is not like that. You can usually intervene in some way.

Anyone who complains about the aggressiveness of Awesome Mod's story engine clearly hasn't used one of the others :p

The Awesome is to bright for my eyes! O:
Here's a list:
1. My sims now function without me constantly having to watch over them.
2. The Pedobear trait is hilarious.
3. The storymod is not excessively obnoxious.
4. Pescado updates things.
5. My hair is no longer replaced by ugly hair in the shower.

That and all information regarding awesome mod is found on the site. If you have a problem you just have to type it in the search. It's easy to find. :PP

-My neighborhoods don't explode and become unplayable after a certain amount of time, due to stupid errors piling up.

-Fambly trees actually make sense. Why the hell can't an adult be the parent of a young adult? If young adults are 20's and adults are 40's...

-Sims don't run across the river and through the woods to find a chair when one is right next to them.

-No route failures every 2 seconds.

-Babbys are recolorable with editsim.

-Fixall.

-The fact that the whole game is an unplayable piece of crap without Awesomemod. :| Without Pescado I would have stopped playing a loooong time ago.
