TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: The scarecrow

Was suggested I view this thread...
Gee...when I joined up a couple days ago, I had no idea I needed to bring my eBay stores discussion board requisite asbestos undies along with me to this site...
Truthfully, I kinda forgot about the scarecrow. Now one of my poor sims is gonna have to be sacrificed...
And, in my real life, I've had plenty of death and sadness. That still doesn't prevent me from directing sims with 2 mechanical points to fix the tv. Sometimes certain sims should not continue living...especially ones that continually attempt to burn down the house while cooking in spite of having more than enough cooking skill points...in my experience, some sims are just firebugs.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Poll: How do you feel about accidental deaths in the Sims 2?

My first thought on seeing the title was "there are accidental deaths in Sims2?" But then I remembered I actually had one of those, once...
Is this poll for a proposed hack? Will it make sims smarter? Cuz that would prevent about 99% of accidental deaths... I mean, if they are stupid enough to stick a screw driver in the back of a turned on, plugged in computer, don't they deserve to die by electrocution?

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Seasons & lot corruption

After installing seasons, I had my whole neighborhood go 'bad' on me.
Could not get any lots to open - if I clicked on them, the game crashed to the desktop.
This was a custom neighborhood that I had been working on for well over a year. I also had a lot of custom content...around 10,000 files.
My solution was to delete it all and start over. Neighborhood is gone, the custom content is gone and so far, so good...
Obviously, whatever was corrupting the lots was something that was on every single lot... and the only two things I can say for certain that I put on every single lot are Merola's Multi Painting and TwoJeff's College Adjuster. Since I can't play without them, I reinstalled both and neither have caused any problems on lots in my new neighborhoods...so it wasn't them...and I have an idea about what it might have been and where I got it from - not a hack either - possibly was a cloned plant or tree object.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Seasons: What mods are you already begging for?

I see at least one other person has asked for 'no autonomous water balloon fights' and I will second, third or whatever that... in fact, I'd pay for that mod. I am so sick and tired of my sims meeting someone for the first time and their next autonomous action with that person is to slam a water balloon into their face. Works so well to 'win friends and influence people'...
