TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Work performance issue

This happens when your sims get jobs during normal work hours. It's harmless. If it bothers you that much, have your sim quit the job and then reapply for it either before or after normal working hours. Same thing with children and school. Aging them up either before or after school will prevent the bad performance popups. Honestly, this is really just common sense. Duh!

No. Right before your sims are about to be married, save the game. Send that, so that Pescado can see if the same thing happens on his computer as on your computer.

I was wondering if urnstones could be dragged to a sim's inventory, regardless of the relationship between the alive and the deceased. This would certainly make moving graves to the cemetery much easier.

There are mods for that, in the Pudding Factory, as well as at MTS. One is for faster cooking with slower eating, and one is for faster cooking and eating, both. Personally, I use the latter. My sims need to go to work - no time for food! *chaos cracks her whip

The only bed mods I've ever seen were object mods, not global mods. I don't know if global mods for beds are even possible, but I'd think so, since sims seem to globally recognize which beds they sleep in, though they don't always use the same side of their beds each time they sleep, relax, etc.

Personally I always prefer to have bottlenecks over and done with in one huge freezedown rather than the game being jerky at intervals throughout the day. I wish it was an option.
Really? My game rarely lags or freezes anymore, and only gets laggy when I've been playing for hours on end without saving frequently. I lurves the new setup. Eh, to each her own.

As kuronue already explained (I've been writing that a lot lately), by using either the Awesome story driver, or the Indie Stone mod (not the core) in conjunction with AwesomeMod, this will eliminate the 1 AM lagging and freezing by spacing storymode events throughout the day, instead of all at once at 1 AM (which, incidentally is caused by the game's original story engine, not the AM or ISM). Try it; you'll like it.

As kuronue already explained, if all other sims in the household are gone, at work or something, then the babies temporarily disappear from the household. As soon as one of the other sims, teen or older, returns to the house, then the baby will reappear. You may have to exit and re-enter the house in order to see it, but that's how the process works.
The patch prevents new babies from being born to single parents, but doesn't take away existing ones, AFAIK.

My mistake, then. I could swear I downloaded it here. *sigh* My memory is not what it used to be.
*is embarrassed
Edit: I'm not even going to try to explain my thought process on this one. It had a strange sort of logic to it that would probably make sense only to me. Let's just say that I suffer from occasional temporary retardation, and leave it at that.

Ok I must have missread "This is a core mod that is incompatible with any other core mod which modifies SimsIFace.dll" on Rick's post.
The enablescripterror package was originally designed, by Pescado, to be used with AwesomeMod, for beta testing purposes, so it can't possibly be a core mod, and CAN be used with AM. I think that MTS are just trying to cover their asses in case something goes wrong.

I don't mind not being able to physically change the shape of the towns, but I'd at least like different terrain types (desert, concrete, etc), and the ability to add and remove neighborhood decorations. I really don't think that that's too much to ask.

OMFG, the enablescripterror package is not a core mod. It does exactly what its name implies - it enables scripting errors, for trouble-shooting purposes, but is not necessary for non-modders to even have in their game. It seems that either your game likes it or doesn't like it. Yes, it's common sense to remove it if you have it installed, and your game suddenly starts crashing, but NOT because it's a core mod. It isn't.

I am happy to report that the ASD is working perfectly for me, now. Sims are being pollinated, and others are moving to better accommodations, so that they can begin being pollinated. Meanwhile, all of the flirty sims and commitmentphobes are slutting their way around town with anyone who's willing. Awesome!

The lockable door thing isn't really an option for me, because there's no way to completely unlock it for parties and such. It's fine for bedrooms, but I wouldn't use it for anything else. I simply choose not to allow starvation ghosts on my lots, but I don't mind the other types of ghosts.
