Have you ever tried Kuler? I love it and use it all the time. You can find color schemes, or match/complement/etc existing colors.

so the dr. pepper car isnt in the huge bundle from the first page, can anyone make a dbc file of just that???
If you want just that: download it, compressorize it, and extract the packages into your mod folder.

Tried that but there are items missing and the text is corrupted.

Riverview should be able to be added in the same manner as per the original instructions. It works for me. I actually have 2 Riverviews, somehow, but they both work.

Well for those who are lazy like me, here's the link to the torrent: http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5277578

Thanks, this shouldn't be corrupted buuuuut there are like 28 leechers and no seeders. I'll try seeding it but it isn't gonna make much of a difference

EDIT: It's downloading but the speed is random. One minute it's @ 54Kbs and then its 154Kbs. At least it's downloading Smiley

And now it's downloading and uploading at less than 5Kbs. I quit.

Well... it seems I'm still the only seeder and I've got 30 leechers. I don't have the fastest internet in the world (used to, but I just HAD to move off-campus) so it's gonna be a bit iffy. Looks like someone's a little over 90% complete though so at least there will be another seeder soon.

Its all one file seperated. And parts 3 and 5 are corrupted. So you can't extract them Sad

EDIT: Unfortunitly part 2 is partily corrupted too so basicly: These links don't work properly. Are you sure you can't upload the thing to any torrent service Greycurse since the RAR Archive is basicly corrupted. It would be easier to start a torrent than re-upload the Archive.

Ugh, they corrupted? I'm sorry. I'll try to upload again when I get home from work later today.

graycurse could you put it in a rar and split it up into 100 mb files and put it on hotfile?

Here are the links to the files - sorry, I forgot to put them into a folder so you'll have to download the parts individually

I created went through a lot of work to recompile a new dbc file with all the store files, including January's content; however, it seems I can't upload the torrentto any of the popular sites. If anyone wants to get an FTP connection going with me, so I can transfer the folder/torrent file, PM me.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Merging mods to increase Performance! (Manually creating .dbc archives) on: 2010 January 04, 19:44:27
you really want to try to get that number as close to 1 as possible as it also reduces fragmentation(depending on file size and hardware) and can make the entire game engine run smoother.

That COULD present a problem, though. I'll use programming practices as a metaphor. The more code you put in one class, the more likely you'll run into errors/the more difficult it will be to debug and maintain. If someone were to put EVERY piece of CC into one package, it's highly likely something will blow up. It'll take quite a bit of time to find the issue. I've tried both ways (with my CC packaged into hair/clothes/patterns/etc. packages or everything in one big package) and I haven't noticed a speed/performance difference with one package or ten.
10  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Beta Testing 1.7.9/WA 2.2.8 Problems/Questions/Discussion on: 2009 November 23, 18:24:31
i know this sounds like a really pushy question but will this mod be officially downloadable (as in not in testing) soon? i just never had the awesome mod before and now i'd like to try it.. that was before i found out it wasn't compatible with this update!

Testing means that people are going through and trying to break their games with the mod. If you're too afraid to test the mod/break your game, you want everyone to take a while to make sure that any issues have been fixed.
11  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod and Expansion Pack not compatible on: 2009 November 18, 12:55:24
Hmmmm, now you've mentioned that Pescado, I wonder if the problem I'm having is down to removing AM. Most (not all!) of the plots in my town are gone. Not empty, I mean not even the plot exists. Instead, there are just holes in the world, with blue underneath. I haven't tried a new game yet (I was kidn of hoping not to, but maybe it would be for the best, seeing as I lost ALL my relationships. Again, I don't know if that's a WA or AM problem).

I just began having that issue as well. Is this in Sunset Valley? Did you use Delphy's tool that converts the Sims3Pack files into the .package format? It seemed that Riverview was somehow overlaid on top of my usual Sunset Valley, and all the lots were blue and see-through. I removed all the Sims3Pack -> .package files, installed Riverview through the launcher, and now it works just fine.

I don't have in a config, just the Awesomemod. I can input "testingcheatsenabled true" but I cannot input "enabledebugcommands true" I get the error unknown command.

try replacing "true" with "on"
