When Awesomemod is installed, can't disable the clothing filter without half of the outfits disappearing.

Tested it many times to ensure this is the case.

Unlockoutfits works, though.

Is it just me (and it probably is), but is anyone else having game-breaking issues with the Sharper Sim Foot Massage Chair that was released last month?
3  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesome Testversion on: 2010 October 31, 00:50:06
Is it just me, or is the new muscle slider in CAS defective on non-default skins? The enhanced normal mapping refuses to stick beyond CAS. I hope I'm just being naive and someone's already found a solution to this...

Of course. Women are not like properly evolved humans with the intelligence to overcome their hormones or emotions in order to act rationally.  Roll Eyes

Hence why they get knocked-up when they're 12. Women don't know what they want, because if they did, they'd be mortified by how perverse and sick their desires are...

No-one says it better than Morpeus, as quoted by Melissa McEwan at Shakesville:

The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.—Morpheus

The red pills are on offer, if you are ready for it.

Now this sounds almost like New Age drabble. Roll Eyes What is wrong with you people?

A user from a blog posted all of the T-Mobile items in their original format: http://www.mediafire.com/?4636bzu1abw4d
6  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Random Crash to Desktop on: 2010 April 27, 20:06:56
I also occasionally get the random freezing (with animations and sounds carrying on). When this happens, I usually have to quit the game via the task manager. I'm not sure the issue is AwesomeMod related, though. Some people think it's to do with a sim getting stuck somewhere in the neighbourhood.

I am one of the ones who thinks it is because a Sim gets stuck somewhere trying to perform a task that cannot be completed.  Pausing the game from the keyboard, which could take some time, and then finding the offending Sim and doing a resetsim, or canceling the action, has fixed this whenever I have seen it.  It can be time consuming to fix if the Sim is not part of the active household.  Much easier to exit and enter from a prior save and hope conditions do not repeat.

It is usually a routing fail or a key object locked or in use that causes the problem, coupled with a rapidly repeating desire to perform the failing action.   In some cases, I have not been able to identify the Sim in trouble to see what they are doing.

If you're having difficulty locating the offending sim, you could also use the "reset world" cheat. It will immediately fix your issue, but it will also reset all activity in the neighborhood.

Have you tried using the "fixall" or "reset world" cheats?
8  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Insane Fix to make Riverview work. on: 2009 December 20, 14:57:36
This works well for enabling the game to read Riverview, but my save games are still being ignored Undecided

EDIT

For whatever strange, bizarre, peculiar reason--I needed to have an old Sunsetvalley save in my Saves Folder for my Riverview saves to show up.

Thanks a lot.
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Patch 1.8/2.3 plus Create a World Released on: 2009 December 17, 09:30:10
Attempting a clean reinstall. When trying to patch to 1.8, I get this:

This is after installing the base, and then running each patch up to 1.7.

Any clue? All my region codes match, no mods, no altered files, RZR version.

edit: nevermind. EADM indeed works on arr'd game. 1.8 patch from Pescado's link is no good for me.

I have this same error myself. May I ask where you found a working download?
11  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Can someone upload Deltabuild0.package? on: 2009 December 17, 08:24:20
Can someone upload Deltabuild0.package?

It would be very much appreciated.

It is found here: C:/Program Files/Electronic Arts/Sims3/GameData/Shared/Packages

Mine is somehow corrupted Undecided

One thing I noticed today, is that the "nuke" option overrides the game's tomb building debug menu.

All hail the great Pescado!

Awesome's "resetworld" cheat did just the trick with cleaning up my Error 12 issues.

I second the Happy Holiday Stuff uploads. I would love to get my hands on the kimonos for male and female.

I have had this same exact issue. But I found the culprit (in case you ever run into this problem)

The file is around 6mb large. It's a hex code file that begins with the letter "e" and is about 32 letters long.

So keep a look out for those types of files.
