Since the act of juggling with anything in the game could potentially cause the deletion of something, I would say that you do have the problem.
102  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Critical Fix: Juggling/Portal Fix 2 on: 2005 December 04, 17:18:39

Fixes a (Maybe not so) rare problem with juggling that would cause the random deletion of objects including portals. Any form of juggling will enter this code when juggling has finished, but the portion of the code with the problem only occurs under certain conditions.

This code completely bypasses the removal code, because I have yet to find anything being deleted that was related to juggling.

Install into downloads.

This fix is for nightlife, although it may exist in previous versions or work correctly in previous versions.

Includes the portal monitor for safety purposes.

Does this hack affect toga parties?  My sorority sims held a toga party and all their guests showed up in normal clothes, although the girls who lived on the lot changed.  Not a big deal, but just checking if it could be because of this.

It might do. I may have to put an extra check in for it.

This mod seems to cause sims in the secret society to wear their uniforms at all times, not just at community lots. In dorms or as visitors on residential lots, they should be wearing their normal outfit.

The decision to make the sims wear secret society clothing is done by the game.  This won't change sims into normal clothes if they are in secret society clothing already. It does NOT change sims into secret society clothing.

Probably not. But why would slobs want to wash hands?
105  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Re: Collect a child fix on: 2005 November 24, 19:14:47
Portals are ways in and out of routing objects, such as doors and stairs.  There are portals also at the edges of lots for where cars and pedestrians are brought into and out of the lot.
106  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Re: Nudist hack v2.05 on: 2005 November 24, 19:11:50
Probably not. Altough I don't use it.
107  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Re: Less autonomous fighting on: 2005 November 23, 11:35:49
Cold Issue Clothing is the lot I can't get into.  Those were the only two hacks I had in-game at that point... if I removed either one from my downloads folder the lot would load fine.

I haven't tried any other downtown lots.  I probably ought to experiment a bit more.

Only two hacks? The normal clothes hack needs the clothing event fix. And you should have the clothing event fix in anyway.
108  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Re: Reduced Furious Walkby Fix on: 2005 November 21, 16:16:59
Sims will still come around and kick the can over, if they have negative aspiration (in the red).
109  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Re: Walkby fix v2 on: 2005 November 21, 16:14:50
Do you have any idea why this happens or what causes the pedestrian portal to be on this "different level"? How does it get there?

I think is was something to so with the orrignal sims2. I have a lot where the ground along the pavement is raised. I have no idea how it got like that and I couldn't make another lot like it.
110  The Bowels of Trogdor / The Small Intestines of Trogdor / Re: MATY Patch Compilation on: 2005 November 20, 12:11:06
Three so far:

Walkby Fix
Sectional Sofa fix 1
Portal/juggling fix

Although I think the sofa fix may need some work.
111  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Re: Sectional sofa fix 1 on: 2005 November 20, 09:55:00
I'll look at it, but the code is a mess.
112  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Re: Sectional sofa fix 1 on: 2005 November 19, 19:29:50
That problem isn't fixed in this version. This version is just for exit portals.

I can see a lot of problems with the sectional sofas, but my understanding of them is limited at the moment. I am sure there will be more updates at some point.
113  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Sectional sofa fix 1 on: 2005 November 19, 16:46:40
Fixes a problem with the new NL sectional sofas, whereby the sims would attempt to use the sofa as a doorway.

Symptoms: a sim will sit, stand-up, walk away, turn around, sit, etc... indefinitely, on the sectional sofas.

These are the only instances I have found at the moment, but there may be more.

Install into downloads directory.

For Nightlife only

If you have the walkby fix v1.1 you will need to download version 2 because it will clash with this code

If you have OFB, Then this problem would seem to have been resolved.
114  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Re: Electro Dance Sphere skilling changes. on: 2005 November 18, 16:47:09
Sims can be abducted from the sphere if they have previously been abducted. It varies from 1.65% to 2.5% depending on how many times the sim has been abducted. (Up to 5 times, after that it doesn't matter)

I did apply Pescado's less-whiny values to the nightlife ones. It is in the podium somewhere.

115  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Re: Eat More Talk Less while dining with reduced overeating V2 on: 2005 November 18, 08:03:46
It is applied to eating in general, so it will affect everywhere.
116  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Re: Electro Dance Sphere skilling changes. on: 2005 November 18, 00:58:04
It is 200 for all levels without the hack and community skilling will not work.

I'll look at the stomping.
117  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Re: Electro Dance Sphere skilling changes. on: 2005 November 17, 21:36:26
Yes it is a bit high, I'll change that.

But you have to consider that you need quite a high body skill just to stay on the thing. Especially at the" hard" level.
118  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Re: Electro Dance Sphere skilling changes. on: 2005 November 17, 19:20:49
Yes
119  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Re: No Community lot food serve. on: 2005 November 17, 14:35:30
Yes, within a directory.  I also think the directories get loaded in alpabetical order too.
120  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Electro Dance Sphere skilling changes. on: 2005 November 17, 14:28:54
Enables skilling on community lots with the comm-skilling hack installed.

changes the skilling rates to:
   Easy = 200
   Medium = 250
   Hard = 300

121  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / No Community lot food serve. on: 2005 November 17, 14:05:21
Stops sim who have grilled hot-dogs/hamburgers on community lots from wandering from table to table serving.  The food will just be placed on the most convenient surface and sims can help themselves.

There is a partial conflict with dizzy's smart-serve. To combat this, this hack must be in the same directory as smart-serve and re-named zzzCBOY_NoCommLotFoodServe.package.

122  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Re: Nudist hack v2.05 on: 2005 November 17, 01:14:52
I miss-understood the poolhack, sorry.

The best way would be to change the poolhack to _poolhack so that the nudist hack loads after it.  I only think he changed the "sub - dive" to check if the sim is already naked.
123  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Re: Nudist hack v2.05 on: 2005 November 17, 00:05:11
My person data 0x0008 == Const 0x5503 specifically checks for nudity only. (the const is actually 0x012a:03 when parsed)

Sims that change into swimwear would stay in swimwear even without the nudist hack.  If you wanted, you could change the const to that of swimwear (0x012a:01) and change the no-op (0x2f3) back to the change outfit routine (0x29c).  This would get the sim dressed after they get out of the hot-tub if they are in swimwear.

I don't understand why you would want the poolhack with the nudist hack installed. But the hacks are loaded in alphabetical order within a directory.
124  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Re: Nudist hack v2.05 on: 2005 November 16, 21:44:14
I hadn't put the explicit check in when I did the update for nightlife, and forgot all about it.  It will be checked properly in the next version.  Even without the check, the game constantly calls the "check for naked" routine when the sim is idle. So if the sims naked score drops below the threshold, the sim will get dressed.

No-op is just a way of not doing anything without removing the line.  It stands for "no operation"

Pescado's pool hack is a simplified version of the one in the nudist hack.  The nudist hack does the "do i want to be naked?" check, which is why there is more code.  Having both in will not cause any major problems, but seeing as the poolhack is alphabetically higher than the nudist hack, it will always take preference.

Just copy the neighbourhood folder to anywhere outside of the sims 2 folder. Don't make a copy inside this folder, it will create confusion in the game.
