Did you by any chance unlock the Maxis street & crosswalk tiles, and use any of them to cover a lot?

No. At least, I don't think so.

Have you checked you're other nieghbourhoods to see if the same thing happens?

I have, and it does. In all four - Old Town, Enderby and t'other one. Sometimes, it will happen. Other times, everything seems fine. If I go into a house and back into the neighbourhood, it may go back to normal, depending on how it's feeling.

OMG! What the heck have you done..... Shocked

I don't know! It just does it by itself... Deleting the groups.cache and removing all hacks/mods worked for about two minutes before it went crazy again... It seems to be using half of my system (at least) to decide where the little cars will go.

A BFBVFS in the making? This is a brand new (relatively) neigbourhood - with your standard complement of Pleasantview townies and NPCs, Academie Le Tour and the default Downtown. I'm hoping it's not, and that it's just 'cause my computer is crappy.

Out of curiosity, has anyone actually experienced the dreaded Sims Apocalypse?

I might have. It may have been the second or third run-through of Strangetown. First run-through was on 98, where the Reaper became completely invisible and her scythe clipped to the floor, third run-through was quite recent. (I just got bored of the place. Deleted!)

Yah, must've been 2nd time. I've learnt to never ever go on a mad CAS! rampage again.

Puts my bunker to shame. Then again, my "bunker" is more of an underground mansion.

Note to self: Try again?

I think it used to appear before they came up with the idea of LTWs.

I was going to suggest meditation, but then, running is free. (That probably made no sense, but I know what I mean)

When I moved (an empty version of) The House of Fallen Trees to Pleasantview (which has since been burninated - or something) the basement was half underwater. Is this normal?

My Elders don't seem to be dying properly either with or without the deathfix. It makes no difference.

And there seems to be this new thing where Sims who've just been saved from death disappear from the UI.

I've had that problem too. It's only really happened once to me, because I've only played my MS's house once since NL.

What about doorbell-quieter? Would that work just as well for this?
