Actually my point was more along the lines of "there's stuff that can be considered by some people as being just as disgusting as anthro animal related stuff on this very site." I wasn't talking about bestiality at all, since wanting to molest an actual animal isn't even close to being the same thing as simply drawing cartoony, highly-stylized humanoid ones which don't even exist and amount to mere drawings. It's not like I care if you don't find furry stuff to be appealing, the only thing that irks me is when people think that a consensual act between two people or a few drawings (whether sexual in nature or not) is exactly the same thing as raping your pet dog. Cmon, that's just asinine.
The thing about furries is, they seem to take offense to everything and love to justify their fetish.

Point proven.

If you mean taking offense to stupidity, then yes. You've proven your point.

So if a pedophile were going to play that card, what "not as sick as" would he choose?
Who knows?

The thing about furries is, they seem to take offense to everything and love to justify their fetish. I don't really see that with people of other fetishes.

As for the hairs again: One thing I always really hated was the way some of the hair would clip into the heads in weird ways. I also can't stand the long ones most of the time, because the lower parts of them float above the bodies in an attempt to make them conform with the bodies. But it never works.

When you use the most extreme examples of both fandoms I guess it just depends on what you find to be worse; bestiality or pedophilia.

I get that you frame this as an either-or question because you want us to "admit" that furries are way less yucky than pedophiles, but I think most of us have no problems at all with finding both equally disgusting.

Well, furries ARE less yucky than pedophiles, I'd hardly think that being interested in anthro animals is even close to being on par with pedophilia and I'd assume most people on MATY would have enough sense to know that. Bestiality on the other hand, that just depends on your personal point of view as to whether it's worse than or not as bad as pedophilia since they're both really bad.

I dunno, some people also find it pretty disgusting to add penis and boob meshes to virtual dolls on a T-rated game. Stuff like penis hacks, nudist hacks, 12-sex and pregnancy enabling hacks, all of which I was able to find on this site. And there was apparently enough demand for adult-teen relations that pescado added it to awesomemod. (albeit very limited and with consequences)

Please someone needs to inform peggy and certain other sims hair creators that the sims is not an anime. IMO the problem appears to stem from their obsession with making everything look ~perfect~ and borderline animu instead of realistic or fitting with the actual style of the game. I think peggy made a skin too...the male of which has a six-pack and looks downright scary on fat sims.

I know.  Thank God Peggy hasn't started cranking out furry shit too.

I've seen some furry stuff for sims 2 and it just looks terrible, the stylistic differences between stuff like the sims and furry just don't allow them to blend well at all.

same case here; people trying to make stupid animu-esque shiny hair for sims makes it look totally out of place and just plain bad.

I actually encountered the first problem playing without awesomemod, but I had a few of Twallan's hacks in.
9  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod is not yet compatible with the expansion Pack on: 2009 November 29, 00:50:56
I have Windows 7 and I'm still getting the core mistmatch with the new version, even with no other mods in.
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: 'Sim is dying' Bug on: 2009 July 05, 03:09:37
You know if you have awesomemod you can just evict any babies or kids and delete them that way instead of having to use moveobjects.

Question about the nudity blur aspect that was recently added: Can I keep rick's no mosaic hack if I keep awesomemod's noblur disabled? If not, can you make it so the blur is completely gone rather than just when they take a shower? I know that nothing happens when sims are pissing, but I still find the blur to be overly annoying and I'd personally rather look at a sim sitting on the toilet with his pants still on than a huge blur covering it. Or at least make it optional in the config to decide what to blur and what not to blur?

I have a dual core and it runs just perfectly for me, rarely ever any lag in anything, even when I'm recording.

I saw numerous people on the sims 3 forum complaining about this. They all seemed to get the same email back saying the points were in their account when they really weren't. I then decided to do something for the lulz. I made a new account and logged into EA customer support. I told them I didn't get my points. Got the same exact email back from "Azuri"?? saying they were in my account. I replied with "O rly? but I haven't even registered a game." No reply back, no points either.  Cheesy

Wow. Just...wow.
15  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWESOMEMOD & SCRIPT HACKS: CRASH ISSUES THREAD on: 2009 June 08, 00:21:53
I got a couple script errors. They seemed to happen completely at random and had no real negative effect, but I figured I'd attach them so you could take a gander. One of these happened simply by trying to have a toddler crawl around (on a neighbor's lot) one of them happened while the sim was at work, I think.
16  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / AWESOMEMOD & SCRIPT HACKS: CRASH ISSUES THREAD on: 2009 June 07, 08:15:53
It seems that I need that enablescripterror.package in order to ensure it doesn't crash. Maybe you could include that with the mod/framework? It works, though.
17  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Extreme difficulty in killing sims by fire? on: 2009 June 05, 20:18:15
This is how I managed to do it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gon9jGwM4bo

have your sim cook something on the stove, (not the expensive fire-proof one) cancel the action as the food is on/in the stove, pause and trap them in the smallest quarters you can with a fence, and watch.
