76  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Long save time on: 2011 November 07, 04:55:18
You do realise that some people might use twallan-ware or even play vanilla? Not everyone uses AM.

I am hoping Pescado has stomped out this behaviour in AM, EA are uniquely able to bork their games in new and interesting ways.

I use both twallan-ware and awesome, and don't see why others would be unwilling to add awesome. I suppose there are some that would WANT to play vanilla, but it's not entirely practical. Most of the extra features of awesome are configurable, and basic gameplay is essentially the same with or without awesome.

Why DON'T you have awesomemod installed? It fixes a ton of EAxian errors, and has a bunch of extra uses to boot.

Also, I don't think compressing will help you at all with time, since it'll just require more time to decompress later.
78  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Pudding Factory is for downloads: put your lame requests & WCIFs here on: 2011 November 07, 03:01:35
If only there was a downloadable, definitive, easy to use/install set of files of ALL the store content that everybody used and was fully fixed and updated.  More people would then go for that instead of paying for the stuff...

Is that a joke?  I often find it difficult to tell with you.  If not, do a search for Moryrie's posts and then whack yourself on the head.

I believe the ellipsis is misplaced to indicate sarcasm.

I think inactive families with pets spawn babies randomly, so that you can "look for adoptions around town" or something. I know I put a horse in a family in Bridgeport, and while I was playing another family, the other family asked my active family if they wanted to adopt their new baby horse. I switched back to the other house, and saw that there were greyed out relationships with completely random foals that were nowhere to be found.

It happened again on a new save with the same family. I have no idea how I managed to screw them up so well when I've never had any problems like this at all. Now the husband is breaking when he checks the weekly events in the newspaper. Same deal, System.NullReferenceException. Does anybody have any idea what is causing this? Both the husband and wife can "Use Bathroom" when Supreme Commander commands it.

Also, I'm curious to know that a 'miniperson' is. My sim apparently had hers in the new save, at least.
82  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2011 November 05, 08:07:46
A "fixall" earlier in the save did mention that I had a bad sim, and it was her. Something about missing a miniperson? I don't remember the details, but it said "attempting to fix." It's odd, though, considering I had just created her and plopped her into the world that sim morning. Then there was her husband getting the same problem later on.

Eh, I'll start a new save. I was only two days in on that one, anyway.

Got a script error earlier. Told sim to use the macro "Use Bathroom," and she broke or something. Got sent back to her house and whatnot. Xml attached.

ETA: It actually happened again with her boyfriend later on, but the script error is nothing but a garbled bunch of words and symbols.
84  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request Thread on: 2011 November 05, 06:28:46
If it isn't already being worked on, could we have a "collect critters" option (or similar) in Supreme Commander?

I'm hoping since there haven't been any major bug reports since the most recent awesomemod update that it's possible to start looking into the deep, dark Pet zone.

Besides, Moryrie , I noticed you need to be a member of 4shared to download files larger than 500mb - thought to let you know as you uploaded these recently.

Seriously? I had no idea. Guess I'll have to go back to uploading le huge files to mega-upload for people who can't use the torrent. That'll be a pain.

Only one of them is over 500mb, if it makes you feel any better. I think it was part three, but I'm not completely sure. Let me check my files.
I lied, it's part two. You could shift some things from part 2 to part 4, since 4 is about half the size.
86  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2011 November 04, 01:56:36
Will your 4shared files include the list that your torrent advertised? I could go through the files with s3pe, but if you've already written it all down...
87  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Stopping Non-Active Sims from levelling up in careers? on: 2011 November 04, 01:46:34

WRONG.

Currently the OP has the following settings:

1. AllowInactivePerfGain set to Disabled -- which means performance gain for inactives is OFF; and
2. InvertPerfGainRuleForSacred set to Enabled -- which INVERTS the above rule for sacreds, meaning that performance gain for sacreds on ON.

In other words, this combo achieves the opposite of this: "Is there a way to stop the non-active, yet sacred, sims from progressing in their jobs?"

Honestly, this is simple fucking logic.

To be honest, I paid no attention whatsoever to what the config was set to, but what the OP WANTS is clearly stated. I don't take blame for its inability to see it's doing it backwards.

I suspect you want the opposite.
Is there a way to stop the non-active, yet sacred, sims from progressing in their jobs?
Actually, I think that's exactly what (s)he wants.

Did you put the config in your packages folder? Did you delete your cache? Did you check showconfig to see the config is actual set properly in-game?
89  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: EXPERIMENTAL: Foreignia Removal and Reset Procedure w/ AwesomeMod on: 2011 November 03, 18:10:15
Would "nukeworld foreignia" incinerate and reset all three vacation destinations?
90  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Stopping Non-Active Sims from levelling up in careers? on: 2011 November 03, 17:48:50
Did you even READ the config?

Look for AllowInactivePerfGain and InvertPerfGainRuleForSacred.
91  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Sims 3 Pets- Whats borked thread on: 2011 November 01, 20:52:14
Rechecked the "small dog can't drink from toilet" issue and it still happens with different families(no CC other then a no-cd). It makes sense that the small dog couldn't reach to drink from the toilet, except they throw up the want to do so and it is unfulfillable.
Does your dog have the Neat trait? While I haven't actually tried to get my neat pets to drink from the toilet, it seems counter-productive to their personalities. Try again with a small dog with the Piggy trait.

The most recent version of awesome is always in the first post of the download thread. Underneath the words "CURRENT VERSION:"

Try patching with the Patch Downloader over at MTS.

According to Twallan, CRAP happens to be a small-scale version of the Pets EP. I was just wondering if Pescado has looked into the coding available for viewing in the demo to prepare Awesome for the full EP.
