126  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: TS2 Store Stuff on: 2008 July 14, 20:06:56
Well, if you meant collection files for Deco and Cubic objects (and this I assume solely from the "Collections" word), then I posted them on the second page of this thread, if not:

127  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Object pathway and name on: 2008 July 12, 13:46:57
Baaah! How unfortunate  Angry

I guess I'll have to do this the sim2pack way then.
128  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Object pathway and name on: 2008 July 12, 09:54:45
I remember, I could see an object pathway and its real name in debug mode,
something like : **\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads\object.package:

Now I can't  Sad  (I didn't have any custom objects in Downloads at the moment, but it loooks the same.)

Was it removed in later EP or SP, or did I just forget to do something?
I have everything up to IKEA.
129  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: TS2 Store Stuff on: 2008 July 01, 11:07:40
I made Collection files for Deco and Cubic sets, in case someone wants them  Tongue

EDIT: updated, cause didn't notice Cubic rug. Instead put Deco in Cubic collection. Now everything is in order!  Cool
Actually serves as a really good example, as why collections are needed.
EDIT2: Forgot to add a window to Deco collection  Undecided

Here you go
Hope there will be updates soon Smiley

EDIT: Damn

I guess she used these hacks by Monique http://modthesims2.com/member.php?u=9825
Look into Tenant&Landlord and Automatic Payment

Though these hacks have not been updated in a long time, so be cautious!!!
133  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Windows to look like Full Screen? on: 2008 May 12, 11:10:27
Thank you Annan, that's exactly what I meant.
I did look before but had no luck. Guess I need better glasses  Embarrassed

I really like Windows mode, but could not use it because of this annoyance, now my life will be just a little bit easier  Grin
134  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Windows to look like Full Screen? on: 2008 May 12, 10:27:20
Thanx, I'll try as soon as I'm home

Do you mean the resolution of the game or your desktop or both?
And what kind of monitor do you have, I have standart 17 in'.
135  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Windows to look like Full Screen? on: 2008 May 12, 10:02:59
Did anybody get both motives/job/etc.  panel and wants panel to show up together in windows mode, like in full screen? I only see one of them , the other automatically  closes the moment I switch. I tryed to change both resolution in game and on Desktop, but no luck. Is it even possible?
136  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Buying and selling novels on: 2008 April 26, 16:24:24
to Zazazu:
You can't put novel for sale Sad
to Lord Darcy:
Trick works! At least for me everything went smoothly and I got 6 copies of the same novel Smiley. Was able to give it as a gift.
I guess the writer can go to the bookstore and have something like a signing evening, by giving everyone a free copy.
to Alexx:
I accidentally deleted a novel , by taking it out, then sim wanted to put it back into the bookcase, and at the same moment I deleted that bookcase, novel dissapeared from sim's hand, and no options on bookcase after that. Hope it was understandable.
137  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Sims won't accept makeovers, except for free! on: 2008 April 10, 17:42:58
I had the same problem and salonfix worked for me Smiley
thanx a lot
I have every sim game up to freetime
At the time of testing I had Director's Cut in and all my other hacks.
138  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Incoming tide not reaching BV beach lot on: 2008 March 24, 19:48:20
I think removing castaway objects actually helped, but I also moved lot to another place, so somebody else shlould check the matter too..
139  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Incoming tide not reaching BV beach lot on: 2008 March 23, 20:27:57
I have the same problem.
The waves are not going into the land, as you can see how they back off after reaching maximum, and it's not like the dissapier and then back off. They just never reach the shore.
I have one more problem with the same lot: sea color is light blue as you enter at the day light, but once the night comes and sea color changes to dark blue it doesn't change back to light when morning comes.
You have to exit and enter when it is day time, but then story repeats itself.
I don't know if those two are connected.
I have only one residential heavily played  beach lot.

I agree. I play my sims as they are living on a normal scale, It's just that in real life there are a lot of similiar days, as for sims you try to make every day uniqe.
I really love this mod, it's one of the most crucial mods for my gameplay. I like that I can have parents go out, and their kids can have secret party, so that the parents won't knew, have lovers come by, while the partner is at the grocery store, and so on.

I don't think that vacations should be tweaked, to have sims go on vacation and spend there almoust quarter  of their life is at least strange, or make parents go on vacation, while there child grows up? Honey moons will be strange too.

I wait for the version, where more then one "go out" can happen at once with big antisipations.

Thank you very much for all the work you've done.  Kiss

142  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Updating CC for FT on: 2008 March 03, 07:42:31
I remeber someone made package for updating seasons fridges.
Would be great to have something like this, cause I'm a complete dork in Simpe  Embarrassed
143  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 March 03, 07:41:20
What about motive dropping?  Huh

I'm now scared to choose any motive helping points, because I think they work the other way. Much like Bon Voyage souvenirs.
I had Sims that chose A&B helper (almost every pair) and A and B motives were dropping extremley fast.
I noticed this the most on social motive. Now every morning my sims get up with half a bar. Sad
144  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 February 28, 16:39:16
No, haven't seen the birds either.
145  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 February 28, 14:27:52
I don't know what's happening with badges
I used toy bench and pottery weel
I got bronze badge after 50, 25, 28 toys(all the time the same sim with no skill points
I got bronze badge after 25, 28 normal plates, and 10, 7 broken ones
Do broken ones even contribute to badges and if not why?

EDIT: maybe I was wrong about 50, now numbers seem to be around 25, but not exactly, different each time
146  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 February 27, 15:37:37
EAxis said you don't get fears from secondary aspiration, only wants.
But that's what they SAID, not nesseserily DID.
147  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 February 27, 14:12:24
Good idea, i'll try as soon as I'll get home. Hope it works for new stuff.
148  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 February 27, 13:51:36
It would certainly be nice if "somebody awesome" could cap fun motive to 97%-98%.So that our sims won't be so totally happy. Those people don't exist anyway in our perfect world.
That way our sims could watch tv, birdwatch and probably some other activities without stop. Those people certainly exist .
149  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 February 27, 11:30:58
Here's another annoyance:

If sims's fun maxed out and he is directed to birdwatching,
he just takes binocular out and puts it right back.

EDIT: Don't have "chair in use bug".. so far  Tongue
150  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 February 27, 10:30:50
I found a bug too, kinda.
Maybe EA actually wanted it to work that way, you never know  Huh

When my sims do this stuff(see below) they stop immidiatly if there is another action in the queue, even simple "walk to".

Tinker, play violin/sintesizer/football/bascketball/helicopter and a new car.
Old stuff works normally, like playing old car/guitar and so, they continue to do it with things in queue

I mean it's wierd, almoust all this things are skill building.

And they also stop doing this stuff if their motives are low. But not really low, just a littlle low, like a half.
and they don't complain, as they normally do.

Maybe there are other objects with this problem, that I missed.
