Now that I like! "Promotions Optional" is a decent way to go, but then I'd worry about people who want to put off promotion (rather than preventing it forever) wanting to use the option so it needs to come up every couple of Sim days, and those who want to stop progress completely. It would make it more difficult to try accommodating both.

I'd say tails on hips, although if you're making Nightcrawler you might want the tail and a belt, lol.
54  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Unoccupied Lot Houses Are Vanishing...WTF Is Wrong? on: 2007 May 19, 02:06:21
Yeah I had one of the unoccupied lots in Pleasentview disappear on me as well, but I restart hoods so frequently I didn't really worry about it. No idea what caused it, and I hadn't even played a full generation when it had happened. The only reason I noticed it was missing is because I was going to move someone into it, lol.
55  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Birthday cake. on: 2007 May 17, 04:04:26
I had a wedding party recently (before I decided to dump Pleasantview) and my guests ate from the buffet and the wedding cake just fine. Heck, the party ended shortly after, so all the leftover cake slices got put in the fridge and they ate for 2 days after. *shrug*

Holy Simoly is usually tasteful and well-made, but they lost me with the fridge recolour with flames. Not even a biker, metalhead or rockabilly wants a fridge with giant painted flames on it. Or...do they?

 Embarrassed I like those recolors...
57  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Wants & Fears Sanity "Death To All Nesses" Public Beta Edition on: 2007 May 15, 09:12:37
I tend to get those kind of reactions from Romance sims pretty often myself, but the sim they want to "cheat" on their date with isn't always around. It can get really annoying, and I find that usually the only thing that really fixes it is going to a different lot. Of course, I don't usually remember to put lot debuggers on my community lots, so I don't know if that would help either.

Sometimes I have it happen with other Aspirations, but usually they are either more attracted to the other person or have a pretty decent relationship with them already (at least friends).

Someone who knows SimPE much better than I could probably tell you how to determine which base game file holds those items, and you could try replacing just that file (or files) from your original game discs.

I so totally need to get impaled skull  decoration for lawns now, would work great with some of the other creepy S2 stuff I have!  Grin

If someone ever makes an impaled sim-head fence, I'll be sure to get it to put around your bunker!

The sofa does come in a range of colors. And it's really super-cheap simolean-wise. I have it, and I've used it in new households.  Embarrassed
62  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: Apr "More Awful Than You" CC Treasure Hunt: Whore Clothes on: 2007 May 03, 07:50:51
I don't know who Khan is, but I do know who spambi is, and if you look at when they were created Khan could potentially be spambi's sock puppet, but I really doubt it. Of course, having about 30 recolors of the one mesh I know spambi made really helps with remembering someone in this community, lol.
63  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: May "More Awful Than You": Buttugly Brokeass Furniture on: 2007 May 01, 21:29:23
Those Simhost sets totally make me think, "Where's Waldo?"
64  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: Apr "More Awful Than You" CC Treasure Hunt: Whore Clothes on: 2007 May 01, 21:18:38
Dishonourable mentions:
Tamha for the one with the white panty flash under the denim skirt (p 3); in other ways, this was a fairly unremarkable entry, but that little white triangle really took it over the top.

I actually had to go back to my submissions to figure out which one got me mentioned. I totally agree with your assesment, and I probably wouldn't have looked twice at it if the skirt had been longer.  Grin

Maybe it's their way of telling you they want to resurrect him, but not on their home lot. Wink
66  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Can the horrible werewolf walk be fixed? on: 2007 April 27, 00:16:25
Just for those of you who were confused:

Dex=Dexterity
Int=Intellect
Wis=Wisdom
Str=Strength
Con=?
Cha=Charisma

I will not, however, tell you where these are from.

It occurs to me that if someone needed this translation, they wouldn't know what a "dump stat" is anyway, so what good does it do to translate the abbreviations?

You can get that Sussi hair from The Sims 2 Graveyard: http://sims2graveyard.com/
68  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Default genetic & custom skins query on: 2007 April 21, 22:43:13
Witch, do keep in mind that you can set multiple skins to the same value. That should help the limiting problem a little, at least. Wink
69  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Picture Imperfect - Solved, thanks! on: 2007 April 19, 01:09:09
I figured that if your CEP install somehow got corrupted, certain recolor options disappearing would be a likely indication. :shrug: Glad it worked, whatever went wrong.
70  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Picture Imperfect on: 2007 April 17, 22:59:58
Have you tried reinstalling CEP?
71  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: Apr "More Awful Than You" CC Treasure Hunt: Whore Clothes on: 2007 April 17, 04:46:00
I bet it's a Warlokk nude replacement mesh. If you have the mesh, you get a nippled top, if not, you don't. Which means the creator of the texture didn't have to spend any time on them.

In the meantime, as far as the inventory is concerned, you can use this until the Awesomeness becomes available:

73  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Fix for Seasons Male Toddler Hairs on: 2007 April 15, 23:50:46
I noticed that, it was annoying, so thank you. Just for clarification, should they all now show properly in the correct bins, then? It seemed that some of the colors were missing altogether, although I might have been imagining it....
74  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Please Help! on: 2007 April 15, 01:29:31
Look, just because you had faces for these skintones doesn't mean they are supposed to be there. Before I even knew there was downloadable content for the Sims 2, when all I had was up to NL, I found the debug cheat and created myself an alien family. They did not have any facial templates. Also, I'm surprised that you aren't also complaining about your mannequin sims not being able to give birth, because unless you've downloaded something non-Maxis hacked CC, they have no baby skintone. Could one of your kids possibly have downloaded CC for the Sims onto your computer?
75  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Weatherproof custom roofs on: 2007 April 15, 00:47:52
I have no idea if what I'm thinking would have an effect, but when you make the flat "under-roofs", are you using the tile auto-roofing function? Since the code is apparently touchy about what a roof is, that might have an effect?
