Your original post said you wanted to use Awesome mod.

Expecting others to take you by the hand and guide you through modding a game is ridiculous. If you want to play anything other than the plain vanilla game that EA sells, you have to take control. Take a couple of days, a week, a couple of weeks, whatever it takes to sit and read this forum. Everything you need to know is already here. Read and study the relevant threads. Take notes. Organize the data. Give yourself an education and you will be able to solve your own problems. Or play without mods.

Your mods folder is supposed to be C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\ ; not in C:\Users. Perhaps you have one in both places by mistake, since you do have custom content working... See if you have one in the right place too, and take that one out.

I was appalled yesterday when my save time shot up to 20 minutes after I installed a half dozen houses and just as many new hairs. I had on autosave every 15 minutes and I was saving more than I was playing. I quit the game and took out all my CC (except for AwesomeMod and 37 lesser mods). My save time was then 9 seconds. I don't know what they were thinking, but I'm afraid I'm going to have a hard time getting into and loving a Sims game without custom content. 

Just thought I'd let you know I played Hatchet Falls all day today. The kids went to school, the parents went to work, Mom stopped and bought books on the way home. Both Mom and Dad completed several opportunities in various building. All is working as it should and it is a wonderful neighborhood. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I just finished this wish myself. It took me 16 little fishes in bowls to finally trigger the fulfilled wish. The wish calls for 13 different species, as I recall, and I had a goldfish and a black goldfish. So I figured the computer was just counting them as one species. I just kept adding new fish until the wish was fulfilled. I didn't have to mess with scooping in and out of his inventory.

Razor, installed both patches and many mods, no problems at all.
