Ok possible bug. In my config I have it set up to where it is build/buy on current lot always. And when I was testing out the new 1.55 version with my config file set that way it made it to where I could not build/buy at all on houseboats. I didn't notice a problem on regular lots just houseboats. I did try moving the camera all around on the houseboat and even down to the basement and zoomed in, all with the same result the build/buy was totally disabled. No other issues found as of yet. But thought I would let you know about this one. Once I edited by config file turning off that feature I didn't have a problem with build/buy mode.

LOL Yeah I noticed the K-9 thing later. I had be copy pasting like crazy. :p

And I did finish Donna a while back. Sorry I had been forgetting to update on here. There has been a lot going on.  Embarrassed She took a while to make however because her clothes were making me crazy. Her and Wilfred.... *grrrr*

(I also added a text version of a list of who was done in the first post to replace the old outdated links. )

Also I have them posted on a new live journal now. Been trying to make things easier to keep track of. Here is the link: http://sims3doctorwho.livejournal.com/

And I am started on building a world for all of them to live in. It's going to be called All of Time & Space. I don't have much done yet. I'm waiting for Island Paradise and all the updates for it and the updates that will come for awesomemod to go with it so I can build the TARDIS more. I want to make it a resort for in the new world. That way the companions can come and go but the Doctors stay. Smiley Any way right now for AoTaS I am working on building the pyramid where they kept the Silence in the show and some gardens out front of it. Then I'm not sure what the next lot I plan to put in will be.

Forgot to double check the links when I was copying and pasting. My bad!

Yeah Eighties Guy, I was having trouble getting a couple of them them to look older with out having them look too old. But I have been doing some fixes to make them look a bit better I think. I took in to account your suggestion about the age of several of them (more fixes coming later).  I also had some other suggestions from other Whovian friends too.

Thanks Jesslla! And yeah Strax was a bit tough to get done. However the one that was the hardest was K-9. He actually made my hand cramp up, due to having to make so many layers of fur and they are so damn hard to position too. I actually had to put an ice pack on my hand for a while after making him. But he was worth it. He's just so damn cute. And I am with you as far as him being the first dog I've really played in the game. I'm not a big pets fan, but I do love watching the Doctor play fetch with K-9. It's freaking amazing.

Also I have some more news I have finally finished the shell build of the TARDIS. The entire floor plan is now done. YAY! I don't have a lick of interior design work done yet but at least all the walls are in.

And I like this one's layout so much better then my old version.

I'll probably work on some more of the Sims later today and then possibly start working on the interior design of the TARDIS late in the evening.

In the meantime here are some images of the floor plan so far:

I also uploaded stage three of the build which is the full floor plan. (no interior design done yet, just the build shell) http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=7333938

Just incase anyone is interested in having and empty TARDIS to play with.
6  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Doctor Who Sims & TARDIS on: 2013 May 28, 03:14:03
I fixed the double post. . To be honest I wasn't sure it even posted because my computer got hung up and I had to close down IE. Then got food and forgot what I had been doing, so I didn't notice until now. I think it got angry with me because of the length of the post.

As for going back and crossing my own timeline.... I think I better not. That never goes well. Plus the building I live in isn't very old, so I doubt I could keep out the weird flying monsters that would be attracted by me mucking about in my past.

Still I am hopeful about the new TARDIS. With any luck it will come out even better now that I have a few more ideals about the interior floor plan. I had been having issues with some of the corridors and rooms prior to it going poof. And it didn't even make the brilliant noise when it disappeared... River must have been driving. Personally I love the sound.
7  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Doctor Who Sims & TARDIS on: 2013 May 27, 22:39:56
Ok I had posted a while back about how I was building the TARDIS. Then after some computer issues and having lost the save for the world and the build of the TARDIS, I am now starting over from scratch. Right now I don't really have anything to report on the TARDIS, really. All I have done is the Blue Box itself, and the shell of the control room. Kind of having to work from old photos and memory here so it probably won't look totally the same as it did. Just hope that if it's got to look different it looks better and not worse.

Meanwhile I am also working on another massive project to go along with it. I am creating as many of the cast members and guest stars from the show as I possibly can. I actually have quite a few done already. Also if you want to see what I have of the TARDIS so far it is here: http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=7326195 going to be uploading it a lot so that I have a continuous backup, just in case something goes wrong again. 8  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Building my own TARDIS - taking suggestions for what all to include on: 2013 March 27, 09:15:57
So I have been busy doing more work on the TARDIS. I managed to get the layout of all four floors worth of corridors done. Very twisty. Here are links to the photos of the current layout. There is a lot of black due to there only really being the control room done at the time. Thus I am doing links and not the photos of them.

http://i1277.photobucket.com/albums/y481/Cheryl_Caffee/Screenshot_zpsd62a0875.jpg
http://i1277.photobucket.com/albums/y481/Cheryl_Caffee/Screenshot-2_zps52fc2e6d.jpg
http://i1277.photobucket.com/albums/y481/Cheryl_Caffee/Screenshot-3_zps39e014a0.jpg
http://i1277.photobucket.com/albums/y481/Cheryl_Caffee/Screenshot-4_zps9ef52297.jpg

Then I started work on the swimming pool. I would never forget it Jezzer. I needed to make it two floors high in order to make sure there weren't issues when using the diving board. I didn't want just a totally unused space on that second level however so I added a little overlooking balcony up there with seating and a mini bar. I also wanted to include a way for them to BBQ near the pool as normally your deck/pool would be where you would do that. So I built a mini kitchen just off the pool. It has a mini fridge and Grill no stove or anything the real kitchen is coming later.

Finally I went back to the control room and the engine room because it was bugging me how long it took them to get down to the engine room from above. So to fix the issue I added fire-man poles. I would rather have ladders but that is going to have to wait until June. (Island Paradise can not get here soon enough). And of course in order to make room for the poles took some changes. Just little ones in the control room. But I had to do a lot of changes on the center floor area in the control room. The shape is no longer an octagon. I do however find it much more interesting down there now.

And yeah bunk beds are cool Janette. Totally can't wait to work on some of the bedrooms. Probably going to be a few different kinds of them too. And of course I'm thinking that the wardrobe is going to be surrounded by the bedrooms. Kind of like a little hub for them. And it's probably going to be 2 floors too.

And oh the library The Doctor must have.... That is going to be fun.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Building my own TARDIS - taking suggestions for what all to include on: 2013 March 26, 12:30:40
Thanks! Yup I totally plan to share it once I get it finished. Still a lot of work to do however. I really want to make sure it is packed full of all sorts of stuff. Just like you would expect from the TARDIS.

Also.......

I went and created Clara and the Doctor too, so they could be my test Sims. It felt weird having some other Sim in there testing stuff out. Also got a very quick vid of the two of them Starting up the TARDIS and checking the engine room out.

http://www.thesims3.com/contentDetail.html?contentId=448132

Also here are a couple more photos.

Clara and the Doctor outside the TARDIS

And here they are inside for the first time. Not sure what simish is for "It's bigger on the inside" or "It's smaller on the outside." Depending on your perspective.

Also here are link to download Clara & The Doctor if anyone wants them. I used their outfits from "The Snowmen" as basis for their formal wear. And tried my best to get Clara's apron for her active wear. Also the Doctor is wearing a Stetson in his active wear.

That's a good idea. Totally going to have to put that in.

Got some more photos.

This is the engine room below the control room. Getting in close for the photos gave me the chance to fix a couple of things too. Still want to add a few more pieces of furniture later too.

And here are some better ones of the control room. Trying to decide what I am going to do for some seating and control panels in here.

Finished the last details of the control room. Getting ready to start on the rest of the floor plan.

My Sim is even hanging out and trying out stuff to make sure it works. Can't blame her. I would totally hang out in the TARDIS if I had a chance.

Here is the chandelier which is probably my favorite thing about the entire control room.
11  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Building my own TARDIS - taking suggestions for what all to include on: 2013 March 26, 01:50:57
I started to work on building a TARDIS in the Sims 3. I have the basics of the park that it's going to be parked in done (Need to finish adding plants later). I have the police box shell built. And I started working on the basement levels (Yes you enter and go down and it's bigger on the inside. All I have done so far is the main control room and a little engine room below. It's not a duplicate more of an original TARDIS creation by me. It took me forever just to get what I have done. Still a lot more to do. And not sure what all I'm going to put into it.

I'm taking suggestions for rooms to include in the floor plan. I know it is totally going to have a pool! Thinking also about building it as an apartment in the game to make it more interesting.

And of course I had to have it land in Lunar Lakes. It was just too fitting.

Here is the famous blue box. Still need to give the roof a slight pitch but I have to save that for the very last thing before the landscaping. Cause I don't want to break the lot using the constrain cheat.

This view gives a better look of the park I created that the TARDIS landed in. I just have to add some alien plants so it goes good with Lunar Lakes. Thought it would be the perfect world to have the TARDIS land in.

So here is the start of the control room for my Sims 3 TARDIS. Still want to create a cool massive chandelier which I'm going to be using columns to make.

Another view of my control room. Hubby and the kids helped me pick out the color scheme.

I haven't been around in a while, and my old 4shared account is kind of dead. I am however uploading all of my files to a skydrive like the one frank has (organized differently). Think of it as an extra backup for everyone. http://sdrv.ms/14fgbgR

It is a complete archive of all of the store files to date. Think the only thing I am missing is a couple of the branded content packs.
13  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 August 25, 14:26:53
You guys are still turning them into package files? Obsolete method is obsolete.

True it's not needed there are other ways but I perfer packages cause they can be easily edited to fix things that EA messed up liike clothes & objects in the wrong section or objects that cost $1 which also bugs me.

These are unedited and not decrapified, they have only been converted to package format.

Can you post SimPointPromos and FordSet not compressorized or decrapified in .Sims3Pack.  THX

A) they aren't decrapified.
B) they have all already been posted by others in .sims3pack format just look back a few pages. Cause I don't want to use all my space at 4shared for posting various different formats of the same stuff when there are already others who have it in that format alot.

I used to have a EA hair called short and choppy (for FA) - hell it must have been one of the very first hairs because I used it to make my selfsim. Somewhere along the way I have lost this hair and I cannot find it again. There's a couple of references in the downloads thread, but one's for a broken link and the other doesn't actually contain that hair.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or repost it?

It should be noted yet again that Pescado (you know, the person who created the tool) has said the following regarding decrapified files and the sharing of them: (the key part is enlarged for emphasis)

Also, I think you will find little interest in those band T-shirts and posters as they are cheap 5 second cut and paste jobs. Likewise for any non-game content such as images you can put on your BBS profile, Windows wallpaper and whatnot.

Not sure if this was in response to me. But I don't use the Decrapify tool. I use S3cr, Sims3Pack Multi Insaller, S3pe, CTU & s3oc only to edit my sims3packs and turn them into packages. I never put them thru the Decrapify, for me it's an unneeded step and also it then allows individuals to decide if they want to or not.

As for the bandstuff I just found it odd cause usually someone gets everything even the little things like that at some point and shares. Not a big deal and as said I plan to get them if nothing else and would be glad to share if anyone wanted them.

I'm back and started working on upadting my files and gathering the items I've missed while I was away. I should have the new items posted in my 4shared folder later today or tomorrow, in package format and with any changes needed to fix items.

However there are a couple things I'm missing that I haven't seen posted yet. Not sure if I just missed them or if no one has them yet. If no one has them I can try to get a couple of the things later this week.

http://store.thesims3.com/brandedContent.html?categoryId=12595&intcmp=eaint507 The only one I have from this is the Shakira Poster.

Why is this hair classed under the hat category? There are no ties, bows or buckles on it.

Plus this lamp still seems broken to me:

It never goes dark when it's turned off.

Not sure about the lamp thing. But the hair was annoying me too. It's easy to fix just use CTU or download a fixed version. Personally I move all pony tails to just hair cause I use them more and use the hats section for just hats. Here is a link to a fixed version I did http://www.4shared.com/file/238151303/673c1541/hairhighbraidpigtails.html

Also I'm adding an alternate location for my files http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=6714c655461973a56e7203eb87368129734c638384e3ea036d217c73094ddc3b since I got PMs about some issues people were having with 4shared.

And still no luck with getting the counters to work this way. Thinking it might have to do with updates from EA Just not sure which update. So I'm going to wait till the next update and try then to fool with them and see if I have any luck then. I'll be watching to see if anyone else figures this out and posts packages of the counters/cabinets. But for now I'm done too many headaches.
21  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 March 08, 21:45:23
Still working to figure out the counter stuff. Still no luck every way I have tried has worked on one of my computers and not the other. And I can't seem to find the problem. Plus I can't change too much on the other computer since it's not mine and is set up for my Hubby's game, all his stuff and he would freak. So far the only way I have gotten them to work on his computer at all was by installing them from the store with ones I purchased. The ones I got were the individual counter and cabinet files not the ones in the set. And those have been fine thru the launcher. But so far no matter if I use those or ones from the sets to make packages no luck. I've tried running them thru s3rc decrapify and also tested them not run thru. I've also left them uncombined with s3pe and tried the combined. No dice. All various unsuccessful results on his computer. So I'm gonna have to give up for now. It's making me a little nuts and annoyed. Hopefully someone else can come up with a fix that works for everyone, but right now I got nothing and no idea why it would work on some and not all computers. Esp since both of mine are a lot a like with the exceptions of a few programs and codexes. I am thinking of redoing the packages that have counters to take them out all together so they don't conflict with things if people find working copies. But it's gonna take a while RL is busy.

In other news... I got the packages for March done.

Ok I finished fixing my files (Thanks to Pescado for fixing the issue s3rc was having with counters).

I also did a few more fixes, including changing the prices for the $1 items, and adding the 3 extra items the store posted to the Feb files. All of the files are at http://exangel42-s3.4shared.com it includes everything that has been in the store so far (with the exception of the world file for Riverview and the JCP bundle as they were just double versions of meshes from the store. To clarify the objects from Riverview are included in the June files). If you have my old files you will need to at least replace the ones for June 09 and Feb 10 as this will fix the counter issues. I personally suggest replacing them all but it is a MUST to replace those 3 files, and remove the old Riverview file.

I even posted a contents list so that you can see what changes I made and what items are in each file, to help answer questions easier. And I posted unedited individual and fixed individual files in zips so that if someone wants to customize their file they can pick and choose which fixes and which files they want and then either use them that way or compress them on their own. (I use s3pe to combine them before anyone asks and there are directions if you search so don't ask me to explain it).

I changed the way I had my files listed. Mostly because I figured out how to change my objects and what categories they showed up in and I wanted to get the number of files down a bit more too in order to speed up my game. There are now only 10 files containing all of the items with the exception of Riverview.

I also got all of the new Feb items done.

Things that I fixed in the files: dress and formal wear that weren't in formal are now, hair (w/out hats) that wasn't working when naked does now, hair that wasn't in other categories but should have been is now, clothing that  should have been in athletic too is now, nursery items are categorized correctly now, kids and toddlers clothes work under more then just everyday now, changed the kites to wall decor instead of showing in nursery and kids. And a few other misc corrections too.

The files are located in the same 4shared folder as before. http://www.4shared.com/dir/22087218/ec2f18a0/S3sharing.html I would suggest anyone who had the files I posted before use these instead. If you keep the others you will only need the one for February to complete what you had, but you won't have the object fixes that way.

Not sure if this will help any one but I am currently working on uploading all of the package files for the store stuff. It's all been run thru the compressor, extracted to package and then condensed into single packages. I am mostly uploading them as a backup for myself but thought I would share the links in case anyone needs them. I should have all of the items up by tomorrow *I hope*.

I am also uploading .zip files of all of the individual packages too before condensing them down. (Good for if you are only really wanting certian items for a set - and all are renamed to make finding an item easier too).

(Oh and I have been fixing a few things like hairs that don't show in certian categories - like the side curl not showing when naked, or the tiara not showing in formal).
