I have a servo who just loved going swimming.  I finally solved this by putting him on Power Idle when I wasn't having him help with homework or training someone on a career reward.  Thank goodness and JMP for macrotastics!

OK, I'm confused.  What good does it do for the founder to bring back the smart milk dispenser or the elixir since no one can use any aspiration reward until alien technology is unlocked, which needs natural science unlocked so someone can use the telescope to be abducted, or stargaze/watch clouds to get the satellite?  It seems to me the first job should be natural science.

I'm in the middle of my second try, because my first founder didn't graduate perma-plat and was always coming home from work in the red, so he seldom got promoted.  I didn't have him date in college, which was a big mistake, but my next one is doing better.  In fact, is it even possible to do this challenge without the founder being perma-plat?

So how do I get just a few sims in the family to go to their owned business lot?  I'd like to leave pregnant sims, kids and teenagers at home, but they all insist on coming along with the owner when he drives his car to his lot.  Does groups handle this too?

Thanks for the link.  I used to get lots of stuff from WDS for Sims 1 but hadn't checked out their Sims 2 stuff.  The salon items are great.

Is the Own 5 Top Rated Businesses LTW only satisfied if you own them all at once, or can you sell a top one, raise another to the top, sell, and keep going?  I don't know how you can get enough money to buy 5 businesses at once without selling some.

Oooh, where'd you get these?  I'm hoping to set up a salon soon and would love something like this.

I was able to grab the file on my computer at work using IE.  I don't know if something got fixed or if my setup at work is just different.  At any rate, I'm happy now. 

OK, I just downloaded Firefox, it gives me a blank page when I click on the link.  Also tried Avant, since BlueSoup said that's what she uses, and I got this message -

So now I have 4 browsers and still no EllaTrue house.

The link to download EllaTrue's house in the building contest is broken.  I'm able to get the other houses but not that one.

Does this mean you can't package a Sim you've already played with?  In particular, one you've grown up from a baby?
