Title: The Glowing House Of BlueSoup
Post by: Simsbaby on 2006 June 09, 22:35:04
I just moved BlueSoup into my game and built a house for her. When I exited to neighborhood view The garage and bathroom walls were glowing green.

What the heck is going on?

That can't be BlueSoup's house of else it wouldn't be green.

Graphics glitch? I just moved Lythdan into a house and when i went to pick a bed all the walls went black, but it righted itself a bit down the track.  First time I have had that happen

If the glitch only appears in neighborhood view, see if turning off Lighting makes it go away. If so, it's your video card choking, probably because you either have too much stuff in your neighborhood, or you messed with your camera settings to see more of the neighborhood. I have that sort of thing (black roads, black terrain, weird colored walls) from neighborhood view all the time when I set Lighting to high.

If the glitch is there when you actually load the house, then it's something else and I have no idea.

I had something similar happen awhile back. I decided to retrace the area with the wall tool (deleted it), then rebuild that one area. It worked oddly enough.

Haven't updated drivers or anything I suppose?

Cool. I want an entire wall like that.

That is one funky effect, my friend. Any chance you could get it to work for all of us?  :D

Seems going in and deleting those walls and replacing them did the trick. Thanks MsMaria!

You're welcome. Like I said, it's odd but it worked for me. Glad it worked for you as well; although as everyone says, they are pretty cool walls. :D
