51  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Does AwesomeMod have a tagger in it? on: 2021 July 26, 01:25:51
The tags Im referring to would show things like: Mode (low detail mode etc), Task (dancing, eating etc), and stats.
That sounds like a Supreme Commander tag. If sims have orders they're executing, then you'd also see a tag on them. What color is the tag?

Though if you don't mind me asking, is it AwesomeMod that makes me get messages from NPC conversations when they gossip? someone said that NRAAS story progression caused that in their games, so I assumed since I dont use NRAAS that maybe AwesomeMod story progression perhaps did the same thing?
I think that's actually vanilla, because I didn't do anything to stop, alter, display, or otherwise do anything with NPC gossip.
52  TS4: The Pee-ening / Insert Amusing Name Here / Re: Pausing University on: 2021 July 25, 10:05:40
This is a subject of some level of irritation that I have been looking into, although with only limited success. But yes, you're basically only allowed one batch of sims actively enrolled at a time, and absolutely everyone else will FAIL MISERABLY as a result of being unable to perform activities.

The tricky part is that once a sim graduates from university, their performance history is rendered unrecoverable, which makes it hard to figure out what the expected performance standard is. I can calculate this based on existing performance for a single individual sim, but not for completely fresh sims, and thus there are two options: Assume Awesomeness, or Everybody Fails (which is just the status quo). The former option works as long as it's just for my personal use, because I am awesome, obviously, but the same can't be guaranteed for the rest of you.
53  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Does AwesomeMod have a tagger in it? on: 2021 July 24, 05:37:55
AwesomeMod has several tagging options, yes. The default game also tags all household members. Check your config settings to see if you have enabled these tagging options. Because these tagging options are not tags imprinted on the sims, you can't "remove" them by clicking on the sim. What you are probably seeing is the Vehicle Tracker, which tracks any vehicles on the road on your map. If you don't want it, you can turn off TrackAllMovingCars either in the console or the configuration manager.

That's your own fault, SMACKABLE PUNBOT, given that Poofs has been in Grah the entire time, UNLIKE YOU. You CHOSE this fate. You CHOSE to miss Weasel Stomping Day.
55  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Nostrayrespawn mod causing crash at (Sim) birth on: 2021 July 07, 22:02:00
I'm just trying to imagine how a mod conflict could CRASH, given that this is strictly a script mod.
56  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Nostrayrespawn mod causing crash at (Sim) birth on: 2021 July 05, 19:29:56
Err...that's...interesting. What version of the game is this?
57  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Mods for Farming on: 2021 July 05, 19:29:16
Well, if you have a ludicrous number of gardened planets, you definitely want the old Macrotastics to avoid having to click on all that.
58  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Sims 3 with appropriate version to support 3booter on: 2021 June 08, 16:13:07
You could definitely just install the game by hard drive, yes. Or mount the CD over the network. I mean, who still has a computer with a CD drive, anyway?

63  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: The "Where Can I Find This CC?" Thread - Because you fail at Google on: 2020 October 10, 10:17:59
I believe RomanceMod made them do precisely that, since I seem to recall specifically writing that. However, if you've been picking them shitty partners with which they have poor relationships...
64  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: The "Where Can I Find This CC?" Thread - Because you fail at Google on: 2020 October 01, 10:50:36
RomanceMod ought to resolve most of your weirder flirting behaviors, assuming you have nothing else installed that influences flirting and romance. Sims should behave much more appropriately with that on, as your annoyance list seems to parallel mine.
65  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What causes the offspring face distortion in TS2? And how do you fix it? on: 2020 August 17, 01:14:00
It's probably some kind of random drift function to try to ward off sameface, except it's not very random and thus drifts in the same direction every time.

Let me know when you get to Habsburg Jaw.

Stop Poking Me!

Congratulations to: Draklixa!

INSTRUCTIONS:
Unzip in your MYDOCU~1\ELECTR~1\THESIM~2\Mods directory.

FEATURES:
Do you hate it when random townies pester you while you're trying to work, somehow knowing where you are from the opposite
end of the lot, and simply WILL NOT LEAVE YOU ALONE no matter how many times you X them out? WHO BE YOU? DO I KNOW
YOU? DO I LIKE YOU?

Sims will no longer pester those who are too far away to be easily seen, people who are WORKING, or those that they don't know
well enough (outgoing sims ignore this, because extroverts are creepy like that. Inappropriate socialization with unrelated children
should similarly be curtailed. Who goes up to random other peoples' children and starts talking to them, anyway? PEDOPHILES,
that's who.

You may notice a sharp decline in the amount of random socializing occurring as a result of the new rules. This probably means that
sims will find some new annoying thing to obsess over. Because sims.

INSTRUCTIONS:

FEATURES:
Do you hate it when you have to send one sim, alone, away from the lot, them come back and find every single sim is no longer where they're supposed to be, and now not only NOT doing what you told them to do, but are, in fact, in places they aren't even supposed to be, doing stupid shit they're not allowed to be doing? Yeah, that's gone now. Your sims will be where you put them, and while they might not be doing anything anymore, at least they're not doing anything you have to pry them out of.

LiveDrag Assistant

Congratulations to: Draklixa!

INSTRUCTIONS:
Unzip in your MYDOCU~1\ELECTR~1\THESIM~2\Mods directory.

FEATURES:
Automates dragging of stray dirty plates, cups, trash, and laundry to the relevant draggable receptables, saving you the bother of trying to hunt them down where sims have hidden them on the lot.
Defaults to "on" at startup. To change it if you want to temporarily keep some trash for some reason, type "autotrash [on|off]" into the command console.
Priority will be given to the high-tech cash-giving recycler, and if all recyclers are on cooldown, trashing will be delayed until one becomes available. If no recyclers are present on the lot, the Big Street Can will be used instead. Trash cans that must be manually emptied will not be used, as if you lack both the big can and recycler, they can't actually go anywhere anyway.

COMPATIBILITY:

73  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Decimation! on: 2020 March 16, 02:42:29
It's harmful in the sense that it fills your neighborhood file in dead sims, which may have weird consequences for anyone who was roaming around at the time it happened. It PROBABLY won't cause your neighborhood to explode...PROBABLY. Be advised that this is a joke option because someone asked for it, not something that is intended for serious gameplay use.
74  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod for TS4? on: 2019 November 28, 01:17:51
TS4 doesn't really work on the "single monolithic mod" system that TS3 tended to operate on, it's more similar modwise to TS2.

As it is much harder to keep TS4 up to date, and I don't play all that often or have terribly many mods someone else hasn't already done, I haven't really released anything.
