Impressive.  I only checked to see if the fridge leftovers were borked.

My patch loaded just fine.  I suppose it was a good thing my only sim who had a gold sewing badge died before the patch came out. 

@ gynarchy: there is no need to be snarky as this can happen to anyone.  Even though I check for JM's updates almost daily and download the latest ones, I stillmanaged to miss an old mod.  I thought I was totally up to date when I had the issues.

@heren: I've found the easiest thing to do is to download the latest director's cut and delete the mods you don't want to use. 

Not bad--for a guy.   

If I'm not sure what the mod is about, I just download it and check RTFM. If that doesn't answer my questions, then someone gets a p.m.   

I noticed that Grandpa Aspir's motives took a severe hit after I decided to use his points.  I probably sent him to an early grave at 110 days. 

I just did.       I think I had a old mod that I missed somewhere along the way. 

Attached is the log error that my game has been producing since I installed Free Time.  I'll have a sim walk to a community lot and immediately I'll have multiple errors like this.  At first I thought it was due to either a bad install or my saved game was borked so I uninstalled FT and reinstalled.  The current game is has only maxis content and Pescado's mods (including the most recent updates).  Any suggestions as to what is causing this problem would be appreicated.

I decided that my saved gamed was well on it's way to that big fireball in the sky, so I un-installed/reinstalled Free Time and decided to start new. I'm back to only Pescado mods and no cc.  No empty animation names plus my sims can go to community lots again.  I am wondering how long it will take me to get back to a GB of cc.

I finally bulldozed the park that comes with new neighborhood.  The two times I sent a sim there, it came up with an error about lot population (?) token.  Any way it was some sort of token.  The second time, I accidentally clicked delete instead of reset.  There was only one sim at the park--the one I was playing.  At 11 a.m. he aged just like a pet.  I decided that park wasn't necessary.

So what causes the "animation name is empty string" error?  Anyone know or have a guess?

I've pulled all the cc except for JM's hacks.  Right now I'm only playing in the new neighborhood.  My game is throwing empty animation strings all over the place.  At first it was just for NPC's but now playable sims are doing it.

It's only taken me six ep's to get to that point.   

So has the team figured out if any of your fixes are no longer needed for BV?

The patch isn't up on the U.S. EA site.  I'm waiting to see how the mods will be affected by the patch before I install it.  I made my latest game backup last night, so I'm good to go whenever I'm ready to take the plunge.

Remember to use the changelotzoning cheat so you can use the build mode; save the lot, then exit the lot. Don't forgot to change the lot back to a hotel after you fix it.

Found it.  Wow, MUCH bigger when you pull it out of the catalog.

Where in the catalog are the Singing Stones?  I"m about to go blind looking for this.   

It's much easier to show what I don't use than what I use.  I generally use what's in the lastest ep update.  After the seasons ep came out,  I tried to save time by just downloading the director's cut and deleting what I don't sue.  I'm still weeding out hacks that don't reflect my gaming style.

After I installed BV, I thought it would be easier to install the most recently updated director's cut and delete the hacks I don't use. I removed fightcub, but accidently left enemiesaccumulate in.  Man, I never saw so many fights in a neighborhood.  I would suspect that's what happened to the op.

So, I'm to pull the patch?  Hubby isn't too worried about SecuROM etc as I have empty files for that. I hope he knows what he's talking about.

I'm still rather irritated that the "stuttering music" and lot lag are still present. 

I'm going to back up my game and wait a bit on more comments. 

The big question is:  Would it hurt anything to keep the antiredundancy mod in place?  Mr. Pescado?

You may become motivated when your own spawns are growing.

Unlike many of those on the bbs, I don't want that much reality to creep into my game.  Excessively crying babies remind me of those oh-so happy days when I was raising my own high needs babies.  I've left those days far, far behind me since my "baby" is terrorizing the town as he's about start his second day of driving for driver's ed.

I knew that they unfixed the cryinging babies when I played my first baby post Patch 2.  It was rather irritating.

What about VJ Development?   There are lots for an urban setting plus apartments/dorms.
