THANKS THIS IS GREAT

A while back there was an intense fire mod....somewhere. I searched MTS2 to no avail. Does anyone know who the creator is or if someone has a copy and would kindly send it to me, I'd be most appreciative. I have Sir Ignitus Blowtorch's Buyable Fire, but the one I need is different. It causes a blazing inferno.

I don't have it, but I suspect it may be Carrigon...

which means the sims 2 workshop, which at the moment utterly refuses to load, so I can't check!

I thought it may be her. No luck with getting her site to load here, either. Grrrrrr.

Edit: I can get the main page to load, but can't seem to log in. SLOOOWWWWWW.

Well, I ran a search and got a very odd page saying the site had a critical error, then I tried to get back here and got to the front page, which eventually loaded and immediately attempted to load another page.  Absolutely wierd, what was happening, so I would think they might have a lot of repairs to make!

Yeah, it is definitely at Carrigon's. It is called "Objects-bad-ass-fire.package".

That is the only place to get it.

Well, I think they're on the same server as VS.  So that explains why they're so slow.  I did sign up a long time ago, but I forgot which password I used (I cycle between 2 or 3 or so), and the pages take so long to load that I give up even trying to log in.

Well, I tried an hour or so back, and the site was unable to load yet again.  I don't think they will be sending out account activation e-mails until the site is up and running again.

I got it from VS. It was probably one of Carrigon's, so maybe you can check the new site.

I don't think either site is loading.  Wait, though, VS loaded after an initial failure, but Sims2Workshop still isn't loading.

My patience wore out and I wound up using Buyable Fire instead. Thanks for the help, though!

I would like to see their site back up and running. I've always liked Carrigon's stuff.

I got the critical error once, then managed to get things accepted the second time, only to be told that my account was inactive...  kinda stuck here!

Well, you'd have thought Carrigon would have been able to sort it!  (If she knows....)

Tried again just now, and got an Error 404, tried again, and got an Error 403 - my wrist was well and truly slapped!  What the hell is going on there?

It is borked. Utterly.

VS and SW have been loading terribly slow for so long that I haven't been going there at all. It is sad really, because I can remember the "old days" when everyone hung out at MTS2 and Carrigon was my favourite modder. Now I'm stuck with Pescado as my favourite almighty-maker-of-hacks-I-can't-live-without. What is this world comming to?

I do like the "puppy killer" too though... >.>

What really bugs me about this Error 403 is when you get it and try to g back to the previous page, you just keep getting the error again!  And this attitude that you know you can't get through and shouldn't have tried is so insulting!  If you know a site is closed, you don't go there, so if you are trying to get there it means you don't know!

Try this...

ETA: File removed as Sims2workshop.com is up and running again. Carrigon is the creator of bad-ass fire.
PM me if you have problems finding the file.

I just "saw" Carrigon over at news:alt.games.the-sims .. she said in a post "but we were hacked by my supposedly number one fan, someone I took into our site and featured, who then hacked us and took off "

So it might be a while until they are back up..

I had a bad feeling they had been hacked - as I said, I'd never seen that totally nasty Error 403 before, so maybe it was put there by the hacker, or maybe it was put up to keep him/her out?

We had a similar problem at SimFreaks forum a while back, and it took Heather ages to get everything up again, and now she's had to up security, which is a shame, but what can you do?

We need something to improve the gene pool!  (Lowering the standards for exams doesn't really fool anyone into thinking kids aren't getting thicker!)

how about the insanity of 'no child left behind'.    if you are behind in one grade,  moving you up only makes sure you'll never catch on.   when i went to UCI in 74 they couldnt find enough kids to pass the entrance exams so they had to fill up by offering remedial  math and reading.
