Bite me Freezerburn! I was high off of pain meds when I wrote that!. Btw, nice avatar.
And what is your excuse now?

Failure is not an option. I was about to poke him/her about that, but being an ESL makes me think that is some kind of slang.

55  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Merging mods to increase Performance! (Manually creating .dbc archives) on: 2010 April 13, 16:40:05
I know you can merge .package files but can you merge .dbc files?

Correct me if I'm wrong. IMO .package and .dbc are the same, only the file extensions are different. So you can rename merged .package to .dbc

57  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: How to use decrapify.exe (In my own way) on: 2010 April 12, 07:26:05
Why you don't EVER want to use Google for the first question? I don't know why, but my mind keep telling me to be nice today.
1. Delphy's Sims 3 Multi-Pack Installer http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=364038
2. Download s3rc-win.rar http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,15129.0.html The file decrapify.exe and s3rc.exe are in there. But I'm afraid you can't use the tool because it is not made for Mac. Maybe you can use someone's computer (Windows) to run through all the processes and finally copy the file into your Mac.
3. decrapify.exe and s3rc.exe MUST be in the same folder with the content you want to decrapify or else it will NOT work!
4. Yes, I suggest you create multiple folders for specific CC. For instance, Hairs and Stuffs.

59  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Deleting CC in-game? on: 2010 April 09, 09:46:46
Okay, it works. Sadly, Merlin only views merged .package files and not able to delete objects/packages attached to it.
60  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Deleting CC in-game? on: 2010 April 09, 08:56:15
Thank you. But upon running the program, it says "Could not find the main class tsrwizard/TSRWizardApp". Maybe you're missing another folder, I guess.
61  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Deleting CC in-game? on: 2010 April 09, 06:40:51
I did some search and found out that TSR Merlin is able to view a merged package and delete small packages attached to it. (Really?). But unfortunately, I found out that Merlin is removed from the downloads due to lack of support and users are advised to use TSR launcher instead. The problem is, TSR launcher doesn't tweak .package file. So I wonder is there any tool that views a merged package and shows the images of each package/object that is attached to it? s3pe only gives me strings of numbers in each package that I don't understand. Huh
62  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Deleting CC in-game? on: 2010 April 09, 02:05:42
Not sure if this should be asked here.

I merged a package full of CAS items which I had downloaded. In the game, I found out that there are too sexy outfits and ugly blocky hairs. So I wonder there is some tool that you can delete the ugly thing in-game as the trash button is grayed out.
63  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: TS3 Recompressor on: 2010 April 05, 15:03:26
ETA: Someone posted the island as a separate in the store thread. Post-decrapifying it does not appear in game. Package file appears but possesses the recolor issues.

So that explains why I can't restyle my counter (which in package format).

Okay okay, I changed my signature. Embarrassed
65  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: TS3 Recompressor on: 2010 April 04, 13:55:11
i must say that this tool brakes all of my tsr content and it comes white in launcher and says your game needs to be updated......should i  drop sims 3 packs on decrapfy and s3rc exe, or just decparfy?
help!  Shocked  Huh Undecided

Your grammar... Oh Lord. Anyway, create a folder. Then put all your sims3pack in the folder. Then copy decrapify.exe and s3rc.exe and paste into that folder. Then drag the sims3packs into decrapify.exe that is located in the SAME folder. A windows may pop out a while and closed itself. This is normal. After that, try reinstall it again normally by launcher.

67  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Sims 3 Launcher on: 2010 April 04, 11:15:00
I cannot get most of the  Sims 3 store items to install using the launcher...I get "Success!" but the store items do not show up in the launcher as installed or in the game. I have tried re-compressing them via jfade's app with no luck...right now I am using the manual DBC method but it makes the game run horribly slow since I have +100 mods, any suggestions?

What's the word I'm looking for? N00bs!
68  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Plants not growing? on: 2010 April 04, 11:04:31
Okay, I'll try all the suggestion and post the result here.

EDIT: I moved my family to new neighborhood and everything works just fine! Problem resolved!

70  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Loading stalls 1/4th way through, using World adventures. on: 2010 April 02, 10:02:34
Try running Sims 3 Dashboard by Delphy. It checks your framework whether it is installed properly or not.
71  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Plants not growing? on: 2010 April 02, 09:35:03
Pussy, you need to search moar. This has been asked and answered before.

Oh really? I thought this kinda new bug since it never happens to me before. Sorry tho.

EDIT: I tried some searching and found this http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,17310.0.html Yes, I'm having the same problem but it seems to be no fix there.
72  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Plants not growing? *RESOLVED* on: 2010 April 02, 03:23:14
Yeah, my plants aren't growing after few stages. No weeds, no need to water and fertilize, they just freeze at particular stage of growth. And this aint cool for my green thumb sim. Planting new seeds aren't helping, they also freeze at particular stage of growth.
73  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Merging mods to increase Performance! (Manually creating .dbc archives) on: 2010 April 01, 04:07:58
My stuff01.package was about 1.5Gb, after compressed through s3rc, it became 300Mb, YEAH!
74  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Merging mods to increase Performance! (Manually creating .dbc archives) on: 2010 March 31, 08:52:54
This has probably been covered, but...

Can files be added to a big package simply by opening it and adding them? Does that work properly? As it is, I've been making big packages, downloading stuff, and eventually doing it again- keeping a backup of everything, and redoing the entire package each time. Do I have to do that? Or can I just add stuff one at a time as I get it?

By using s3pe, open the big package file and import the package you want to add to and select the option reject duplicates. As posted by Anach, it is recommended you keep a package about 200Mb
75  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: A Problem with Riverview on: 2010 March 31, 08:39:46
A user told me that I need to decrapify my save as well. I'll look forward for this and post the report. Btw, how about you try to backup all sims3pack in My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads and put it in a folder in desktop. Then uninstall all the "perfectly" installed content by using launcher. Then, decrapify all sims3pack that you put it in the desktop by dragging it into decrapify.exe. After that, copy and paste the decrapified sims3pack to My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads and install it again by launcher. I think once you decrapify some store content, you need to decrapify all of it. Anyway, if you don't mind, please report any progress you made.
